Here's my problem.
I am using a galaxy note LTE(korean version).
Phone runs on ICS, and is rooted.
I can send and receive sms correctly with samsung's stock messaging app, but I am not a fan of it. I used handcent sms for years now and downloaded it to the note, I can receive but I cant send any sms using it. I tried downloading chompsms, but still, the problem persists. I cant seem to send sms only with 3rd party messaging apps.
Does anyone know any fix/has any suggestions?

My Dad and sister have an iPhone and whenever my Dads sends a group message, I don't get it on my Inspire. HOWEVER, when I use my iPhone, the messages come through. Why can't my Inspire receive Group Messages from iPhones?
Anyone else have this problem?

Have you tried a 3rd party sms app. I know it can receive them but you can send group sms like the iphone can. Is is something alot of people are asking 3rd party app developers for

I tried every 3rd party sms apps. GoSMS Pro, Handcent, and Chomp, as well as the stock messaging app. No matter which one I use, I can't receive the group message. Now when they message me individually I get it just fine.

Not real sure. Might just be the way it is done. Iphone to Android has always seemed to cause issues.
Is there any way to get group messaging to work in CM10? not 10.1. I receive them as individual texts. I know if I send it will be different, but on the receiving end it is very annoying. I wish to not install a 3rd party messaging app but it looks like I have to...
any suggestions would be greatly thanked and appreciated!
I use Mightytext and Glowfly quite frequently.
Messages sent using Glowfly's quick reply function will not show up in the Mightytext web app. Messages received work fine. All messages still appear in the stock messaging app.
Not sure if perhaps other people have the same issue using both of these apps together. Any insight would be appreciated.

So it's been a few days that I try to make Hangouts SMS work but it is still not working...
I'm on MIUI and have a Meizu MX2.
I tried uninstalling/installing Hangouts , disabling stock SMS app, notification is enabled in Hangouts and I don't have any other messaging app apart from Facebook messenger but I doubt since it doesn't do SMS.
Anyway, I know that a lot of people have asked similar question but nothing worked for me, maybe it is because I am using MIUI but I read that people didn't have any trouble using Hangouts on MIUI...
Same problem here. Delete and re add your google account. It worked for me.

Hi!
I just downloaded Textra. I have no problems sending SMS, but I have problems with MMS. Every time I send a MMS, I get a reply with the message:
"One or more of the message components have been deleted by MMS Adaptation. Either the message was too large or the components were unsuitable for your terminal."
I have set the Send Size Limit for photos to 300KB. APN Settings is correct, as when I use the Samsung SMS app, it works.
Is it some setting I need to do? I am not sure if the Textra app is automatically resizing the photos?
I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 4, running on Android version 4.4.4
Will appreciate if anyone has any solution to this? I am not a mobile user in USA but in Singapore

I think it's a compatibility problem on android 4.4.4.
You should notify to the deverlopers.
