I was wondering is there anyway to add the emoji options that cm9 has in their roms into the sense 4.0 messaging app? I know about handcent, chomp, go sms and the other messaging applications, but i was wondering was there an actual way to merge it into the sense 4.0 stock messaging app?

Is it possible to remove the Samsung themed Messaging app and replace it with the vanilla messaging APK (mms.apk)? I'm not a fan of the huge speech-bubbles that the stock Captivate messaging app comes with and would prefer the standard look. I also don't really like Handcent or ChompSMS.

Is there a way to port apps from the older Xperia 1.6 to the 2.1?
I absolutely loved the curved lockscreen, the contacts app, the dialler app, the notification bar and the simple-no-frills-gallery (the new 3d gallery app is all eye candy but doesn't open the pictures in full-resolution) on the older OS and miss them badly after upgrading them.
Is it possible to simply extract the APKs from a rooted 1.6 phone and replace them on a 2.1? Or any other workaround?
I'm using the Google keyboard and the default Sense 6 texting app. Is there a way to get the Emoji functionality of the Google keyboard while in the sense texting app?
Does anyone know how to merge the Sms for Touchwiz with hangouts? Similar to iMessage in iOS. Seems like you could easily do these in AOSP. Thanks
