Is there any way to use nova launcher but be able to hit the menu button to pull recent apps like the phone does on stock ?

It does do that unless you're on a custom rom. What does it do for you instead? Might want to check your gestures under Nova settings.

If it's CleanROM, Scott posted a mod to remove that button remap. See post #2 in the thread.

Hey.
Here is my next question ^^
Is it possible to open more than 4 tabs in the standard browser?
Four are not enough for me
Thanks!

I'm on CoreDroid v2.3 and the browser is modded so that you can change the number of windows.

Yes, when you have a browser window open click on the menu button, then click on settings in that menu, there is an option in that menu to set it for more tabs. I discovered it by accident.

Can't find it. I use the Revolution HD ROM?
I am using Coredroid ROM and i have the option. Ask in the ROM thread.

Using leedroid ROM. I did that and no lag

Android Revolution HD does't have this option
Use Dolphin HD, its better and faster anyway
I think that only custom ROMs have that functionality.
The main thing keeping me from trying another ROM is the End Call button HTC puts in notification bar, allowing you to hang up from anywhere in the phone. Is there another ROM with this feature or an alternative?
Thanks!
I think most ROMs have this, you do mean this right?

thread should be in QA.
I cant seem to find the download Link for this rom/tweak/mod
Cyanogenmod (and most aosp I would guess) can do it.
Just realised that I was in regular android dev, not aosp section.
Oh well!
Cool rom bro

Has anyone done this before?
Thanks!

Press power button and then home button to take screen shot...
I'm sure viper s ROM allows you to re-map your buttons (for example: long press home button for a certain app or something like that). Just try looking around for settings like that...

If you have s2w power +home is disabled for screenshot (its htc feature)
Instead you need to hold
Power + volume down buttons for some time (its ics feature)

Is there no way to just screen shot by pressing power and home button ?

Magio v5 is a light build. It has no menu button on homescreen.
noob question. what exactly is the menu button on homescreens. I flashed the MOD and didn't really notice anything different.

When on home screen, you can open a menu there. Press the menu key on your device to open/close menu.
To end all confusion on the menu support, this is all it is.. it's a main feature found in ViperXL, KickDroid, And Magio 4.x Roma... Just sun_dream created it freely for the community.. so others could use this mod longs credits given....

If your rom is odexed, then after replacing the system app, you have to delete the previous app's odex file too.
If your rom is deodexed then simple copy would do.

Use a root file explorer (I use ES file explorer) and navigate to "system>app" and there are all the system apks.
So does this meen that it can be added to a ROM as long as credit is given
