It's not the firewall because I have lots of ways past that. And not Chrome exactly, I've tried with Chromium tho. I'm on Ubuntu.

I haven't been able to download it yet. You will not want to just flash this to our Evo. Let a developer play with it before you flash.

the video on the link shows Android 2.2 and our old SENSE (1.0 or 1.5)... So nothing new there...

and yes... i have been on the shift... but my evo is back online from approx 1 hour ago... so this is perfect now.
at least the achievement of tweaking odex files is now on the table... which is much much better than deodex if u ask me.

What i meant earlier was that the APK will not fully install, it stops as soon as i try to install it. Anyway to get passed this?

Unfortunately no. The app must be pushed via adb. There are plenty of tutorials on XDA and YouTube to walk you through it. Good luck.

Unless they've been fixed, they didn't work. I've found a few ROMs that have Hub included.

You can extract the system.img and get all the files or download the stock rooted

They need a notes_jni binary lib that is not available on the One V.
It will not work...

Yup, there's already been leaked update(s) for ICS 4.0 (for MEARET firmware if I am correct) that have been found. Waiting on a ATT.en.US update to be found via cheesecake now. Should be just a matter of time until all us AT&T folks get to enjoy.

Yeah, thanks saw that, so its basically a search on Moto servers for updates? Thanks for the info btw!

project cheesecake allows us to change what server we check for updates on, allowing us to pull them from not only the standard production server, but also development ones not usually available to the public.

nothing douchey about reading and searching instead of waiting for someone to give you the answer. the reply given could have been found by you doing some legwork.

So where do you go about checking the servers, can you give me links or something? (i did search for this and couldn't find what i needed)

Just download the Cheesecake.apk to root of sdcard, open through file manager (or whatever) click first button, reboot, click second to choose from list of servers, third button to check for updates. Its all explained in the link.

Actually, it is not that easy to find what Cheesecake is. But, hey - any opportunity to show how superior you are to someone else.

Correct Kies exe for recent ICS.

I've gone to the link provided in the txt message sent my AT&T and downloaded Kies, but it keeps asking for it to update...I uninstalled and reinstalled and no luck. Anyone have the correct ICS Kies exe they can post?
Thanks in advance, and yes I also have a Galaxy Note and successfully updated that but having trouble with Skyrocket.

I could've sworn I stated it keeps asking to update...Maybe I wasn't clear, I've updated it 10 times but nothing. I've uninstalled 3 times and reinstalled and nothing. I know Samsung is experiencing issues with their servers, initially that's the same issue alot of us Note users had. Someone was able to post the correct version of Kies (exe file), but can't seem to be happening for the skyrocket.

Edit the registry, remove kies entries, reboot, reinstall

Unfortunately that is the correct file. I'd try a complete uninstall and reg sweep, reboot, reinstall. Seems something borked during the setup.

Ya many people had the same issues updating their Note's, someone though posted the exe file and it worked... just need to verify the correct version for the Skyrocket and i can update the Kiesversion.txt file to the correct one to see if it works.

that info is on my sticky in general, if going from ics to ics it seems to not wipe data, going back to gb is a hit or miss, usually a miss. but i need more confirmation on this

Lol I don't need to go back to stock nor do I need odin. I need the correct Kies version smh.

FYI child I ain't no kid, one simple question was asked and idiots like you reply the wrong way. So first off if you want to be helpful I'd change the way you approach or reply to people's comments and do some reading. You do know how to read right? Kies_2.3.2.12054_20_1 google search for that version, it will want to update so let it.
i though it was a problem so i uninstall'd my kies then installed this did the update and all is working as it should.
so i can confirm this ver works on a win 7 x64 if it still wants to update after updating it then there is something wrong with your computer,
give it a try.

If your wanting to upgrade your baseband for the P509 on TMobile or Simple Mobile, don't waste your time. You'll lose about 50% of the RIL frequencies that TMobile uses.

if u wanna download the latest KDZ for ur phone, go to

Change the xxx to ur IMEI number (Press *#06#) to get ur imei.
After that copy whatever link is there and paste it to another tab on ur browser to d/l it
