Hello everyone. I can't see my picasa webalbums in the gallery. Just the local folders. There is no sync option in the accounts and sync. I checked the Google Photos but that wasn't it.
Is there a solution for this? Am I missing something?
I noticed the same thing! Not sure what the fix is but a work around is to use the Google + app. All your Picasso albums ate there.

Well, it would've been easier for the kids to watch the stuff on picasa. Anyway, may be if we flash a ROM or something.
But what if we put the gallery app from another ICS ROM, will this work?
same here
I have the same issue with my samsung galaxy tablet 2 10.1.
if you find a solution could you please let me know?
There must be lot's of other gallery apps that may resolve the issue but I cannot find one that will act like the ICS stock version.
Any help on a fix for this issue would be much appreciated.

I tried many things to get this to work and finally got a 3rd party gallery. But after the 4.0.4 update it just started working. I don't know if it was because of some of the things I tried, but in 4.0.4 it is at least possible.
If you have 4.0.4 try going into accounts and making sure that sync Picasa Web albums (or whatever) is checked and force a sync. You might also go clear Gallery's data and restart it if that doesn't help.

I'm moving from a Nexus One to the Inspire and I'm missing my Picasa web albums in the Gallery app.
I've looked in the account options to setup a sync and Picasa is oddly missing as an option.
Any work around I'm not seeing?

Yeah, sign up at htcsense.com and download the Picasa viewer.
Actually I had the same problem but resolved it by downloading the 3d Gallery from the Android market. Once I did this it put back the option to Sync Picasa in the Accounts Sync area for Google.
You may have to reboot the phone for it to work properly.
Just my 2 cents..

Worked for me, thank you! I did have to reboot, BTW.
I downloaded the sense Picasa plugin and had my albums synced, but when I went back again it wasn't syncing and nothing showed up.
I had the option to sync in account setting, buti downloaded gallery 3d anyway and it added a second picasa sync option but still won't work even after reboot.
Does anyone have another idea?
Thanks

I know it is probably considered a workaround but I got sick of the gallery apps altogether a while ago and started using justpictures. Picasa, facebook, etc, plus defined folders. Works very well and doesn't kill the resolution like some stock gallery apk's.

It's never my first option to use apps from the market as a replacement, but this one solves my issue....
Thanks for the idea, I'm glad I can get to my Picasa album now!!

Does this work with google apps accounts that have been transitioned? I downloaded it, have the sync option in account, but whenever I go into the gallery it says I need to add an account. Anyone get this working?
PS - I am on Revolution 3.0
Hello,
I bought my nexus s today, and i noticed that Facebook wouldn't sync to my phone! it starts by not asking whether or not to sync contacts when i install the Facebook app and continues by not responding to 'add account' in 'accounts & syncs' in settings.
I really like the option that i can see my fav's pictures.
any ideas what can i do to solve this?
but all and all amazing phone, specially after coming from here, after two years
2.3.3 intentionally disabled facebook syncing. the way to bypass this is to flash a custom ROM such as CM7
thanks. good to know, although i don't understand why they did that.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Just like what tomm posted. This change was intentional on Google's part.
CM7 modified it to enable syncing in 2.3.3 again. You also gain a lot of extra benefits using CM7
Hello
Since i got my Xoom, the facebook app have been a little dodgy.
Whenever i try to browse my friends list the app force closes. It has always been like this. Even the new version that came out today does this.
Anyone know a solution to this?
On my Nexus One this works fine.
And also, after adding an facbook account on the Xoom in Accounts, the facebook acount isn't visible like it's on a phone. How come?
I have the same problem I think I updated facebook 3 times since with no difference. really annoying if you wanna check yourself and friends in somewhere and then the dam thing crashes.
Hoping this will get fixed at some point

Have you tried FriendCaster? It doesnt crash at all on our Xooms. I wound up buying the pro version because I just thought it would take Facebook forever to fix it.
FB app sucks on hc. I just use dolphin browser for my fb'ing. Saves the headache.

Anyone else having this issue? My issue is pretty much spelled out in this post.

My facebook login and my Google login are the same (my Gmail account, duh). And because of this it confuses the Picasa gallery tool when trying to retrieve the account information to upload photos and I get a "Failed to Retreive Account Information" error when trying to upload to Picasa. Really annoying and I've pretty much lived without Picasa the last 3 months using Facebook or Flickr instead. I haven't seen this issue posted about much around here, though it seems much more common on G Nexus forums. Surely I'm not the only Sensation user who has run into this bug?
From the other thread it's not just related to Facebook. Some users had issues with Linkdin. Others with Dropbox.
Sounds like you have similar issues I did (although mine was with Samsung Galaxy Note).
Here's what I did to fix it.

Stock GT-N8013, 4.1.2
All of a sudden my gallery app (the stock android gallery) has quit displaying any of my Picassa albums-even auto back-up. I did nothing. LOL PlayStore upgraded a bunch of apps, & I tried removing the upgrade to Google+ as was suggested on another thread somewhere...but that didn't work either. Anyone have any ideas as to why this might have happened? Strange thing is that I can click on one of the broken link icons & a photo will eventually load, but once I close it, it's gone again.
