[Q] anybody suggestions for an armband? - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

has anybody found an armband that works well?

I've been looking everywhere for one, too. Tried to order one off of amazon, but the seller screwed up. I found a similar one at a retail store and tried out, but only so I could prove to the schmuck phone rep that the HOX will not just slip into the same case that an iPhone would. The search continues...

Looking for one myself... any suggestions?

I use a black tube sock. Cut the foot part off and slide it on your arm, and then fold it in half...the phone will sit down in the folded part perfectly.

Any G2 accessories at local Tmo stores?

Looking for some kind of OEM case, Zagg shields, etc. If I got my handset yesterday, surely the stores are building inventory by now - especially for high-margin chinese accessories...
Anyone find G2-specific stuff at their local Tmo shop yet?

I'm not sure but try daydeal.com I know the case I bought from there was a t-mobile accessory but a lot cheaper then t-mobile charges
My local store didn't have any out yet. I know youtube has two videos of a guy showing what cases will be available on launch day. 2 blue or purple hard cases and one clear case with a kick stand.
I was able to find a local t-mobile in Pembroke Pines, FL that had pretty much everything (t-mobile branded, including the BodyGlove case, anti-smudge screen protectors, etc) in stock.
The first store I tried (Hollywood FL) had squat, Radio Shack had no clue when they would be getting the phone (despite supposed availability tomorrow Oct 3 and the huge G2 sign in the store.)
So it's hit or miss, probably comes down to employees being unaware of the box in the back of the store. Maybe best to ask for a manager if you need a quick fix.

I think that's me with the kickstand lol

My local store in Huntsville, AL has a pretty good selection of accessories, including a hard case with a removable belt clip that doubles as a kickstand, and screen protectors with anti-smear. They are having a sale where you can get 20% off if you buy 2 accessories or 30% off each if you buy 3 accessories. That's basically enough to cancel out the ridiculously high prices, but I am a fan of instant gratification.
After using the phone for a while in the "black gel" oem case though, it really doesn't feel as good in your hand as it does with just the naked phone. My G2 will be going naked pretty often, I think.
Ok so all my T-Mobile store is selling is 1 Black gel skin, 1 Purple rubbery like gel skin(alot harder than the gel but still flexable), Black Body Glove and Screen Protectors. I have noiced that the Body Glove makes it hard to hit the top row of keys on the G2 so thats why im using just a screen protector and my old G1 sleeve =)
We have about 7 different cases at my store plus the screen protectors. I will take a picture of each tomorrow and post them for you guys.
2 Body glove cases (one skin like weird material and one normal body glove with changeable clip.
Blue and black combo
Purple and black combo
Clear (with kickstand)
Black gel skin
I think there was another but when I was receiving them there was just so much stuff I tried most of em. The best was the body glove skin like one.
my local store had the screen protectors on Friday and they had JUST come in and they hadn't even had time to put them out yet. i had to ask for them and they were behind the desk.
i didnt bother looking to buy anything else since I know the prices are outrageous. I refuse to pay $30 for a car charger I can get online for $6 shipped.
I picked up a case and a couple of micro-usb cables today. They had screen protectors, a couple of different cases, a crappy car/wall charger and micro-usb cables.
The screen protectors that they used to sell for the G1 were crap, not nearly as good as the thing that came with the phone. I suspect the G2 is the same, so I trimmed the little tab and a little off of the bottom of the one that was on the phone and left it on. I suspect it'll work fine for quite a while. Especially now that I have a case. The case seems to be much slimmer and better fitting that the covers for the G1s.
Actully the screen protectors are rather awesome. Make swype super easy. Not even close to they crappy ones for the G1 / mytouch lol. Ill admit those were pretty bad haha I would have kept the stock one but it fell off the first time I put it in my pocket =(

Anyone else have any info on the body glove I'm thinking of picking one up later on today. Are the screen protectors at T-Mobile covering the whole screen or just the LCD part? Does it cover the home, back, etc....

[Q] Has anybody gotten the HTC G2 / HTC Desire Z Commuter Series Case?

http://www.otterbox.com/HTC-G2-/-HT...HTC4-G2XXX_color=20&start=1&cgid=htc-g2-cases
I can't really tell from the pics so I was hoping somebody who might have gotten it would know whether I can keep the case on while using the physical keyboard?
There are threads in the Accessories section regarding those Otterbox thingies...

I went to the link you posted and it says there that you can use the keyboard as you normally do. The answer was in front of you the whole time.
Why would you not be able to use the keyboard?!?!?!?!

One part for the front and one for the back. Still slides open np. Otterbox cases are worth every penny, imo.

I've been using mine for about a month and a half. Its great. Love that it covers all the ports. But its slipped out of my hands numerous times. Wish it came with a holster.

fast review of this case:
good, solid design. love the inside rubber lining on the back cover.
outside material really slick, it has slipped out my hands numerous times. got some nice "wear and tear" marks because of this.
coupled with good screen protector i got a brick i can throw at someones head and knock em out.
pain in the ass to take off to use game gripper.
front cover does not feel like it will last forever as the clips are thin and crappy.
8/10
the rubber/hardcase combo from case-mate for nexus one is my gold standard for cell phone cases.

Thats is kinda cool.... at least we have extra back plates.
Wow awesome, perhaps this will solve the wifi death grip issue or even the dust issue...
Has anyone purchased it yet?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I read in another thread that someone stateside ordered one from ebay or whomever and when they received it, the back didn't fit right. Is the US version different from the overseas version in any way besides the branding of tmobile of course. Just wondering.
If you look at the camera hole, there is no place for the led flashes to flash.
I'm also looking for a silver housing, but this one is not for us, I think.
Edit:
Searched over ebay and found this:

Now, I'm absolutely not sure what the truth is
re: back cover
I ordered mine direct to HTC (oem). they say it will be 8 days. - will post some pics when it arrives.
Did anyone get it ( Qubits one ) ?
are the flash holes really ""CloseD" ?
is this for 4G or for GSM version ?

OEM HTC One X Case

Anyone using that case?
Thanks in advance!
Had it. Returned it.
Offers no protection and makes the phone very slippery.
Got it for $15. Not worth it. Definitely not worth it at $30.
All imo of course.

How ridiculous of HTC to release such a flimsy case for such an expensive price. I saw a picture of this case snapped in half quite easily.
Clearly someone at HTC was playing a joke, I mean blue and orange? $30? I feel like they're virtually feeding us crazy pills.

I like mine and use it when not at work. I work out in the field and use the best buy case and holster combo. It's nice when going out to dinner and showing off the great design of the one x. FYI that link is for the one x and not for the att or rogers(xl) version.
Sent from my HTC One X using xda premium
I realize now that this is a slightly different case than the one I was mentioning. This is the official case for the international One X. I don't know if this is quite as flimsy as the one for the One XL, but it probably wouldn't fit on the XL anyways. Could anyone confirm this? i'm interested in grabbing the white one for my fancy times.
The white one reminds me of a golf ball.. but they should've kept this pattern for the US version instead of the stripe/bar pattern we got.
I can't vouch for that one specifically. I do have the HC 700 for my XL though. Unfortunately since I'm a new user it won't let me link it, but you can find it on the site you found that one under the HC 700 model number.
It's for the International version but I decided to give it a shot for my phone. It does fit, just not perfectly. You can feel a little(barely) flex in it if you press down on the back of the phone's edges. The camera lens also doesn't line up completely but luckily the flash is not covered and the lens is not covered, just a little of the ring around the lens gets obscured by the case. Same thing goes with the hole for the speaker, it just barely comes up to the point where the holes for the speaker are but it doesn't cover them, but it does leave a larger gap at the top of the speaker holes. None of the buttons or input/output jacks are affected though. Since that is a similar case I'm sure the results would be similar.
I primarily got the case to keep the back of my White One X(L) from getting scratched, so far it's doing its job so I can't really complain too much about the minor alignment issues.
Yes,also know this case from other forums that it's don't do good protection..

[Q] Carrying Case

Does anyone know where to get a horizontal carrying case for the Photon Q? I need one that does not have a fabric interior so that the fabric will not rub off onto the screen protector.
Stciker
Any ideas as to where to keep the sticker on the back of the phone? Listed on it is the following: MEID DEC,MEID HEX, ICC ID, IMEI,MSN, and M0CB5. I have an otter box commuter series, I thought of sticking it in there in case I need the numbers off of it.
EverNote or Keep take a picture.

This is what I was using for my phonton q until it went to hell and I had to upgrade to a nexus 5 because moto was unable to fix it.
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0044WJUDS/ref=oh_details_o05_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I had several of these from when I owned the OG Epic and it worked great for my PhotonQ as well. I eventually wore them out and had to buy a few more. The ones pictured on amazon are the good ones, one of my orders came with one that was slightly different, and still worked well but didnt hold up quite as well.
