2.extract the given wifi.zip file
open system/etc
Mount r/w
3.delete wifi folder there
4.copy the wifi folder from the given zip file to system/etc

Hi,
Can anyone help me changing the boot animation of subject ROM, I have already downloaded the zip file but unable to flash it by any mean
Regards,
Shoby
Try with a file manager with root permissions (such as root explorer) to move the bootanimation.zip file at /system/media and after that set permissions to rw-r--r--r
Reboot and the bootanimation should be the one you selected.

will astro file manager work?
I don't know but I can't make it with Astro. Try with the File expert. Firstly you have to enable root explorer from the settings menu.

..
One question. Which CyberGR bootanimation you are using?

the easiest way is to get the file from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1159311
then flash directly with Rom manager( just select the check option: wipe dalvik cache) and you're donw - Nexus s sotck boot animation.
cheers
Hit Thankx button
just put in your bootanimation.zip in this zip file /system/media
and then flash it via recovery

You need to delete some of the apps first because the rom is too big..
Change the keyboard, install a new one and delete the old one..also delete the launcher & use a small size one..
delete ringtones from system/media (use link2sd+root explorer for that)
And install light gapps from here..
Read the thread again before posting...people there have mentioned how to flash gapps..

In system/app delete these:
CMWallpapers.apk
Development.apk
Email.apk
Exchange2.apk
Galaxy4.apk
HoloSpiralWallpaper.apk
LiveWallpapers.apk
LiveWallpapersPicker.apk
MagicSmokeWallpapers.apk
QuickSearchBox.apk
Rom Manager
SoundRecorder.apk
SpareParts.apk
VideoEditor.apk
In system/media/audo remove ringtones.
Some of these applications is not in the ROM, but I do not know which.
What's up, remove it and Add to archive with winrar or 7z and make .zip file.
Thanks for your reply..
another Problem
Sorry, but i have an other problem in the same rom, the flash player don't work.
I followed this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1405672 but when i go to put the lib.zip's file in /data/data/com_adobe_flashplayer/lib/ the ''root explore'' don't permitted me, because the space isn't enough.

Press the left button and in menu choose Manage Applications and you see how much free memory you have on the internal memory.
The space not enough in lib folder not in all internal memory!!

I do not know. I've not have such a case. The important thing is that before you paste the file in
Root Explorer to set the R / O instead of the R / W.
Yes before i paste the file in Root Explorer i set the R / O instead of the R / W.
I also tried to replace the lib folder already present in the internal memory with the folder that I downloaded from the post, but then I can't change the permissions of the file...

Are you accidentally changed places of files on SD Card?
Yes this is possible!!
Why?

In Root Explorer copy file and go in data/data/flashe player and paste there. Copy from original place. From maps where is installation package for flashe player.
The original paack is zip file, i extract this and copy with root explorer but the file there isn't in lib folder!!

http://www.4shared.com/zip/S1NDMD9R/Compressed.html
Extract .zip and files save in folder named "lib" without quotation marks.

OK. You're welcome.
Make sure you make a backup of your stock ROM before flashing any custom ROMs.
Copy the WLAN folder from system/etc/ in your nandroid backup.
With your new custom ROM downloaded you want to open the zip file and navigate to system/etc/firmware place WLAN folder from your backup in here, then flash,
Congrats working WIFI !.
Sounds great, BUT.....

Not sure if the WIFI drivers are the same on the T and L but I've attached the WLAN folder with this post, otherwise just download stock ROM for your device from sammobile.
I will give it a try

I found a solution.
You will need:
1. Phone must be rooted (should be anyway with custom ROM)
2. download the folder I put in this post an put it on you SD card
3. have a "root explorer" installed (I used "X-plore File Manager", free on play store)
With the file explorer copy the "Wifi" folder to the "Root/System/etc"
It will ask if you want to overwrite the existing files. (accept)
For me not all the files copied over, but the files that did copy were enough.
Restart your phone.
Wifi works (for me at least this solved the problem).
