Hi,
Download ES File Explorer from the market and explore your ad card and delete the files you don't need.

You can also connect the device with usb and select pc mode disc to record, erase what you do not need and ready.

I currently am using the 8gb microSD card that was included with my phone. I recently bought a 32gb card and I'm not sure if there's anything special I have to do. My phone is rooted, in case that matters. Anyway, i was planning on just copying the contents from the old sd card to my computer and then copying them to the new one. Is that okay? Will all my apps and stuff work the same?

Might be the rom you're using.
If you're on FULL stock rom/phone, then maybe its your sd card has the prolem. If this is the case, use Panasonic's SD Formatter to reformat your sd card separately from phone. Use google for that software.

check the format of your SDcard in the 4EXT Recivery. In not fat32, reformat it and align (there are options for both procedures in the 4EXT recovery menu)
When I go to storage to see how much space is available in my SD card it shows pictures 2.44GB how is that possible when I have a total of 3 pictures in my album? This is really annoying can someone please help me out.

Try to put your SD card into a SD reader and search through your card. Reformat it at last resort.

Many apps will use storage in /sdcard (cache and large data), use your favorite file explorer (I like ES File Explorer) to find out what happen. Alternatively you can also download "DiskUsage" to show the file usages in graphical form.
I put the ad card into a reader ans found out the problem thanks a lot!

i accidentally format my sd and i cant get back my htc running is at the tmobile logo somebody help me ?
Unfortunately I do believe that nandroid backups are kept in the cwm folder on your sdcard. If you formatted the card I am almost positive they are lost.

Now you could always reflash your rom if you have the files on your computer and the computer had a card reader.
