Crap. Looks like the custom carrier name cmpart wasn't merged...any way to easily go about setting this? The Carrier Name app says it isn't compatible with our phone. Thanks!

I'm just curious, if a phone is reported lost/stolen can it still be used by someone else? Or is it somehow deactivated?

Once it's on the black list (reported stolen), it's useless.

Yes it can still be "used" but on a network is a different story. If the ESN is reported to the original carrier though, it would be shut-off from authenticating on that network.

She could only do that if she controlled the account...
Sounds like you need to cut ties and buy your own account...

Well, changing the emei # on as phone is illegal, but if you search, you can learn how to do it. Best to change it to an old phone you own if you can...
Can't help you...but it can be done.

I think there was a topic a while ago where someone bought one and replaced it. If you search for it you might get the part number from it.

I think I found one.
