LG Blue Splash Screen MIUI Issues(SOLVED) - T-Mobile LG G2x

Hello, I'm stuck on the LG Blue Splash Screen only after I flash the SINGH-UI MIUI Rom and the WajkIUI 2.2.40 MIUI rom. The other ports work fine but I am very interested in the SINGH-UI rom. This sucks because I can't use go past the blue lg screen! I can still access the cwm recovery fine and go back to my AOKP rom that I backed up. I want to try the SINGH-UI rom though.
-LG G2X
-Clockwork Mod Touch Recovery v5.8.1.3
-16 gigabyte micro sd
I have tried many things. I tried the dual wipe nullifier, I've factory reseted, wiped cache, formatted data, formatted cache, formatted system, wiped davlick cache. You name it I've tried it. (I'm not new to rooting or cwm) I know what I am doing. But this has really got me confused. Please help!

I don't want start a flame war in regards to recoveries, but would you mind to flash the old school 5.0.2.0 CWM and try again Singh UI?
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium

Thats what I was thinking the problem was. I will try that sometime. Right now I'm running a nice theme for my AOKP rom and it actually looks pretty good. If I get the urge for MIUI again thats what I was going to try. I'll report back if I ever try.

that or flashing a kernel with the rom first, I think he uses faux's kernel so try trinity.

Thanks for the help. The MIUI roms aren't compatible with the cwm touch recovery. Besides the ports from rootzwiki. I don't like them. I'm running SINGH-UI flawlessly with the 5.0.2.8 recovery.

Glad that you've managed to sort it out.
Singh UI dev, nycelitmaster mentioned it several times in his thread.

Yeah there are so many posts on it to go through. I don't have the time for that. I mentioned it too. I told them they should mention it in the OP.

First....update Clockwork
then...wipe data/factory reset (in Recovery)
then...wipe cache partition
then...flash it once more and if it does not work try re downloading the ROM because there is a possibility some important files are corrupted...

All of which was available by doing a search ^
You can also add try a different rom to the above list.
I have done all on that atleast twice. I had just redownloaded the rom last night

this is a ext3/4 rom Is your sd card formated properly? If its version 6.6 ( the latest) try using version 6.5 first as this will format the sd card for you.. back up your sd card first just to be sure you don't lose your information. in CWM mount the sd card and copy to computer.. Hope this helps.
Already stated previously but worth another try. Install another ROM, maybe one that is almost stock. Then try Coredroid again.
I also suggest you ask in the Coredroid forum. Good luck.
Ok thanks ill see what i can find out over there

are you flashing through rom manager or cwm ?
I have the same issue, i used rom manager, did the wipe.. and its just stuck on the animation loop.
If anyone could help, it would be appriciated.
Thanks
Found it.
Thanks
Got it going, I did a recovery, then updated with coredroid v7.0.. Works very well.. no problems here.
By the way, I'm digging the new layout.

would recommend that you install EXT4 recovery rather than CWM
simply download file onto SD
boot into CWM
and flash ZIP file
CWM works just fine, you just need to make sure you wipe everything before flashing new ROM, ie data, cache, dalvik cache, etc, then all is good
Just wanted to add that I to ended up in a bootloop, and I've had miui 1.8.5 installed since it came. It stopped after about 10 reboots. Dunno know what's up, had a lot of FC's as well these last few days.
Looking forward to tomorrow for am update! Cheers!

I also had some problems with 1.8.5 version (random reboots). I am still using the 1.7.29 version that is working great. Only theme chooser FC's.

thanks for the reply.
I did use nvflash. should i wipe data and cache before reinstalling cm7?
thanks
yes, wipe data, cache, dalvic, and do a factory reset (which I think does the first two, but most everything sys to also do a factory reset from CWM)
P.s. Damn, how many other night owls are there on this forum?
thanks guys the phone works now after reinstalling and wiping.
honestly the best rom on the g2x is eaglebloodv2.5 based of cyanogenmod 7.1 with the trinity 15 uc/uv kernal. dont get me wrong i love cm but i can overclock to 1.5 per core with -150mv stable

I had the same problem with 2.1 and 2.5 on my phone. For some reason, the flash does not work on my phone the first time. both times I had to pull the battery when I got stuck on the boot screen then boot into recovery, re-wipe, fix permissions and reinstall. It always worked for me on the second try.
Good luck.

This happened to me once. Try to re-root the phone again then flash it.
Did you do a dalvick cache wipe too? Also were you flashing a kernel with 2.5? Are you coming from stock or a custom rom too? And if you are coming from a custom rom does it use a custom kernel? You should also check the md5 of the rom and verify it didnt get corrupt on download/transfer.

Yes i wiped the dalvick, fixed permissions, formatted just about everything and factory reset, when that did not work I formatted and wiped everything before and after the flash. still no luck. I was not flashing a kernel, (to be honest im not even sure how to do that) and im coming from a stock rooted rom that i got when i first rooted with odin. I checked the md5 and everything matched up too.
How!?

How do you re root? would i have to use odin to flash the rooted rom again?
The process of how you flashed sounds right.
When you say it's stuck forever, how much time did you give the phone to reboot. Sometimes with a new rom, it may take 5 min or longer for reboot to finish. If you haven't already, just walk away for 5-10 min before checking it.

Clean rom wouldn't install for me on my phone... Weird stuff happened on the screen during boot animation and then would vibrate like crazy and go into boot loop... I came to realize that it was the kernel and I flashed lean kernel and it worked perfectly... I think these roms act differently on everyone's phones and sometimes there's no rhyme or reason to why things work for some people and not others... Just my. 02 cents

Firstly its FLASH not FLUSH.!! On which system did you flash the ROM.. If you have flashed on 2nd system you should not wipe data... It will wipe out your other partitions... And did you flash via bmm or cwm??

I used Atrix2BootStrap.apk which seem like CWM based, there was no option 1st system or second system, it was like standard flashing(means normally we flash using Clock world recovery so no 1s or seccond system option appeared).

i think this rom can be install via BMM only... my friend has do like what you do before..... the only you can do is FXZ to stock, root, and then go to play store, install BMM 0.3..... dont install bootstrap.apk again after installing BMM and you will be fine...
I seem to have a similar issue.
First of all although this is my first post on XDA I'm not new to flashing and using Custom Roms infact I have been using CM 10.1 versions switching back and forth between 4.1.2 when I run into trouble.
I decided to give PA a shot and seem to have run into a wall. I flashed PA nokex on system 3 (which previously had CM10.1 - JBX 0.8.1(kernel)).
Before flashing PA on it I destroyed and recreated system, data and cache partitions so I didn't see the need to do wipes on them again. Nevertheless I did dod wipes. Flashed PA nokex, Gapps, wiped dlavik cache and rebooted. (Using BMM ofcourse)
I am stuck at a black screen with the red LED. I would really like to sample PA so any help would be really appreciated.
