[Q] Drivers needed to root atrix 2? - Motorola Atrix 2

So I'm wanting to follow the tutorial on this forum to root atrix 2 2.3.6. It says to make sure to have drivers installed then at the bottom of the post it says:
Driver-wise:
Try this if on 32-bit: mediafire .com/?71c12qc4a1svqza
And this for 64-bit:l mediafire.com /?ysphmaz131d3an9
Are those the only drivers I need? And if not where can I find the others?
Sorry for posting here instead of in the actual thread but I'm unable to post in the development threads since I don't have 10 posts yet also apologize for the spaces in the links but I can't post links either

That should be all you need. You can try getting them right from motorola if it will not root, but You should be fine.

Thanks XD

Link on rooting and upgrade to 3.1 not working

I was preparing to upgrade to 3.1 using this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1089695
but in step 2. Flashing 3.1 link which is
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1074609
the download link for step 4 is missing.
What should we do?
I have posted a reply on BRDs thread for you, pointing this out. I see that you don't have enough posts yet to do it yourself. Watch that thread and (hopefully) you will see a response soon.
cam30era, thank you so much! I'll be watching the thread.
thanks again!
The link is not repaired yet, but I noticed an alternate link on the post just above mine (on BRDs 3.1 thread). It leads to here > http://www.android.net/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=49
This is the 3g fix file that you need. Good luck.

[Q] MD5Sum for rooting files 4.1.1

I am trying to find out what the md5sums of the files for rooting my sg3 with android 4.1.1. I have used the search option and, while I found the official thread for the cwm recovery, the md5sum for what I dled from the guide and the sum posted are not matching. I have to assume this is due to two different uploads. I want to post this question under the thread itself, but unfortunately, my post count is not high enough to ask for the md5sums there.
I am not new to rooting, I just like to make sure everything is in order before I start the root process.
This is the thread I am referring to. Thank you in advance.

You need to root from this guide. The files have MD5 attached and Odin will check them for you. If the md5 from site not matching as usual you may have bad download but odin will not flash if it is bad.

That is the guide I am using. I thought I had added the link. I'm used to rooting and all that fun stuff on my old bolt and having to check all md5sums manually. Thank you for the help.

Is SuperOneClick gone for good?

I am quite a noob when it comes to these things, sorry. I tried searching the forums for something like this. Is SuperOneClick discontinued? The last update from the website shows May 2013, and the download links don't work. Am I missing something here?

[Completed] [Q] Pls help frustrated me locate download for AOKP MR1?

Being very tired of my I847 Rugby Smart's lackluster performance, I've been reading these threads for months now and I still cannot find a download link for the referenced AOKP MR1 to install on my phone. So in the interested of time and reduce my frustration, can someone (motorhead1991?) PLEASE post a link or pm me with a link? And I assume the normal recovery/read .zip file instructions will work?
Thank you from an "old coot"

I think you are looking for this thread: [ROM][SGH-I847] AOKP-MR1 4.2.2 apache.
But last post in this thread is from October 2013 ... so the dev may not be supporting this ROM version any more.
If you need more information about your device, check the Samsung Rugby Smart (SGH-I847, Galaxy W Variant) Super Thread, and ask your questions in the corresponding Q&A thread.
Good luck !
Thread closed and thank you.

what are md5sum and size, mine just downloaded are 3bab56f4f09c78e65c62e9c33bde42d6 and 619205499, but, I cannot unzip:
extract # unzip ../lollipop_stock_final_OTA_v12.zip
Archive: ../lollipop_stock_final_OTA_v12.zip
End-of-central-directory signature not found. Either this file is not
a zipfile, or it constitutes one disk of a multi-part archive. In the
latter case the central directory and zipfile comment will be found on
the last disk(s) of this archive.
unzip: cannot find zipfile directory in one of ../lollipop_stock_final_OTA_v12.zip or
../lollipop_stock_final_OTA_v12.zip.zip, and cannot find ../lollipop_stock_final_OTA_v12.zip.ZIP, period.
update: I needed some patience md5sum is 5ff99af3eba25e92d9887f70f253cc40 and zip is correct
I think you should check individual files, system.img to be precise.

I'll repeat what the member I quoted said. More details as he's already said please.
And i hope you've tested this yourself?
Please address this, or I'll need to close this and remove the link.
Thanks,

Edit: I'm also moving this to Android general, as Development sections are for members works. Not shares. :good:

It's sure and luckily not a problem: it's an anonymous duplicate, that's all the post with the link is redundant and has created some temperature. Have a nice day and do not worry too much if the thread would ultimately disappear or starve.
