I have always used HTC phones so don't know the flashing process of samsung and even after seeing many guides i cant understand anything!
I am trying to install TitaniumS v3.2 on his phone based on DDKP3...
He has GINGERBREAD.DDKP2 installed atm...
So I have to flash XXKPE first??
I downloaded everything incl DDKP3...but DDKP3 has only xxxxHOME.tar.md5 and no other file...Guides say i have to use latona and csc and etc..
It is very confusing...please help me out ASAP!!
Yes XXKPE first. XXKPE comes with latona.pit. Here's the guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14933114
Then DDKP3 just use PDA in ODIN. Then flash cf root then install the Titanium Rom.

thanks guys, my doubt has been resolve..
i just thought that it is not possible and will brick the phone since there are different version..
one more question that i am confused, since i am in froyo version and it says on the tut that in XXKPE to flash "twice" before continuing flashing XXKPH, "twice" means flashing again the PDA or all of the file of XXKPE?
All the files except the latona.pit file.

No need for xxkph. XXKPE>factory reset>XXKPQ>factory reset>Ganesh cf root> Poseidon ROM>Wipe then restore apps by TB.
If you have problems. Try flashing XXKPE twice

I dont think so its a correct way. U have to do all settings in ur phone from scratch.
Simple solution is just flash deodexed flashable zip file over current theme. It will replace all themed file to stock without disturbing anything on phone
P.S. - Its already posted in forum many times. Please search before post
Don't mean to contradict u vishal...i acknowledge your experience but i have flashed stock over deodexed with no complications....

There is nothing contradictory buddy Dont worry. I wanted to say that when u flash stock rom then u loose all ur mods, scripts, kernel etc. So for that u have to do all procedures to get those mods, kernels etc by flashing via pc odin or by using recovery mode flashing zip files etc which is very lengthy & time consuming process.
Got it vishal...didn't know that...thanks a lot

If you're on macbook, then instead of odin you should use heimdall. Its a cross platform flashing tool, easily available.
Please search option to read how to flash via heimdall, and also for the link to download it.
Press thanks if helped
Caution:
When you are running ICS on you mobile do not downgrade directly to GB using ODIN, if you flash any GB ROM (Stock/Custom) using ODIN your mobile will be bricked.
Live example is myself i have bricked my mobile by do this.
TO avoid this first you restore previous backup using CWM and then flash what ever you want using ODIN.
Even Unbrick your Galaxy R. 2. Downgrade bootloader to v2.0 guide wont help you, I have followed it but no use I have successively flashed stock rom by using this method but still no luck ..
I've created this thread to help all our users who are running ICS, Sorry I've haven't see that one more thread is there for this if you think its duplicate please ask Justin to delete it..
Thanks! Have you managed to un-brick your machine?
Actually, flashing thru odin is Samsung things and it will increase the counter. So, almost every time, I will customize the ROM to flash thru normal CWM flash zip process. At least, I am just 'copying' files to /system/ and all operations are controlled by the updater-script

Yes Ardatdat. I do the same thing. For all the Stock ROMs which i flash via odin, i used to make CWM package. I used to do that so that always i dont have to depend on my PC. Not for the baseband, But atleast for the PDA and CSC part.

Thx for the info buddy. Like to know once thing. When u tried to downgrade to GB via odin, what was ur ICS system info. Is it rooted.? Deodexed? Rooted Kernel? Because I feel Kernel is the problem here. The Kernel that came with this ICS is not a safest one. Ardatdat can speak more about it.
Thanks mj...

Just off-topic wondering, ppl in SSC will say: your machine is fixed and patched with the latest JB rom & kernel. Am I dreaming?

Yes, I would love to, but without the kernel source, I could not do much things. At least, I would not get the kernel src before Samsung provide the official ICS update.
Hoping an image from samsung for this rom and then for ardatdat kernel v 1.8.x from you... Hats off to you man. I am a fan of yours.

can u provide me d link i m new on android nd xda
I had rooted my phone using ganeshbiyer's cfroot posted here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1331253
I booted into recovery---> root/unroot ---> unroot. It said Unrooted
After booting, the apps cwm and tweaks are still there
Can anyone tell me how do I completely unroot my phone? As in, bring back to normal stock rom condition
Easiest way would be to flash stock rom(of your choice) using odin.

You can find it here .. http://www.sammobile.com/firmware/
Just search the I9003 Firmware
or here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1377104
Since ICS is not officially available for our device & u have ICS installed, only unrooting will not give u ur warranty back.
U need to re flash the stock firmware again to be back on warranty.
This will help u to flash :

Log in to boot load and if your root was correct you should be able to recover to last stable ROM/stock rom if you backed up your phone correctly.
