It keeps hanging after it asks if I want to integrate it in or something. I've never used scripts before. Any ideas?

this should have been asked on the v6 forum
do you have busybox installed?
did you run the script as root (ie. scull and cross bones)
Sorry, I'm at work. Scratch this. I reinstalled the script manager and it stopped hanging. Not sure if the APK in seans zmod zip is corrupt or something.

It has worked with every Gingerbread ROM I have used on my phone, which is all of them, except for Audiophile series, but it would work no doubt.
You screwed up my marriage and sex life. I hate you. AHAHA.

The fix perms script. I'm assuming that replaces the one in cwm, and is ran from cwm recovery?

Nah its intended to be used via a terminal emulator while the phone is running. Original script is on XDA somewhere.

works for me, ty, I'm happy to have anything other than the damn pink startup screen.
When a dev says their kernel has init.d support, what exactly does that mean? I've been told if the kernel doesn't support it you can load the script in script manager and tell it to run as root and run at boot.

Yes I know what it is but when they say, init.d support what does that mean, support. If they don't support init.d can't I still put a script there tell it to run at boot. So if they don't support it would doing that not work?
Sent from InfinityROM using XDA Premium.
With init.d support, you don't have to make Script Manager manually start all scripts on startup. Script Manager takes the place of init.d for those that don't support it, but that's still another program running in the background.

Not quite sure. I know if you set it to run at boot, there will be a message at startup saying "script manager has been granted superuser permissions".

No. It actually ends the process on its own afterward.

In my experience loopy smoothness needs to be run at boot while v6 supercharger does not. It doesn't seem to take hold otherwise. I could of course be wrong.

I try and flash bionix. But it says like I need to update edify script. Or something please help

It would help if u tell us how you are flashing, rom manager or cwm. What rom are you comming from. Also how you got the rom. Did u download it on your computer and then transferring it through mounting storage I'm cwm because I know that causes a lot of problems.
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
It sounds like the install script is using an older type of scripting which CWM no longer uses.

Yeah after my failed attempt I went to the OP. Thank you though.
Flashing puts the files where they belong installing attempts to place the application in data which offs not the right place for Google Now

I installed it, opened it once and totally forgot about it. It drains battery a lot and I can't find any use at the moment. I will do some research.

You can dictate text messages, tell it to play any artist or song from your music collection, ask it the whether, to search stuff for you. I like the voice activated music more than anything for driving.

To any one else using, it says it's supposed to wake up when you say GOOGLE at one of the screens but can't seem to get it to do it? anyone else been able to get this feature to work?

Saying GOOGLE has worked for me in the past. You have to have hot word detection turned on in the settings. I have not used it recently, but it is definitely a sweet app.

I just install a fresh FP8 copy and rooted it. I am trying to run some scipts through the script manager, but I keep getting this error "In mgmain JNI_OnLoad". What is that, it never happened to me before?
Thanks
Try uninstalling and reinstalling Script Manager?
Sent from my SCH-I510 using xda premium
Thanks Kvswim. I tried that, and it didn't work. for some reason I cannot even run it from terminal emulator! same error.
Hmm... Bad script?
Sent from my SCH-I510 using xda premium
Nope, that happens to every script I have. I have been using the scripts for the last few months, I don't think so. I am resetting it anyway. Will see what happens next. Thanks kvswim
Download Pimp My ROM. There's some sort of option in there pertaining to JNI. Toggle it and see what happens.
Sent from my SCH-I510 using xda premium
Yeah, I think deslice script had the same option, it was to enable/disable the kernal to check for error, but I am not really sure tho. I gonna try pimp my rom, I heard some good reviews about it.
