android 2.3.6 EAP wifi connect problem - General Questions and Answers

I try to connect the wifi in school.
The encrpction of wifi is 802.1x EAP,
then I set the EAP method is PEAP,
the Phase 2 authentication is MSCHAPV2,
and user name and password.
First time, the connection is fine, but I try to disconnect it, and reconnect the wifi, it can't connect the wifi again.
It need to clear the setting of wifi, and set it again, then it is fine. It is very trouble.
i.e. When I disconnect the wifi even it is fine at first time, the wifi never connect again until I clear and re-set the wifi.
Actually, it's not say "disconnect",
it's because I mean "disconnect" = turn off the wifi, and "reconnect" = turn on .

[Q] Connect to Wi-Fi router not broadcasting SSID?

Just got my Gtab yesterday and haven't had time to mod/root yet (aside from the automatic update that installed when 1st connected) but was wondering if there's a way with stock ROM to enable the ability to connect to a Wi-Fi router that's not broadcasting its SSID.
I have the connection set up, but it will only find my router when it's broadcasting the SSID, which I'd prefer not to do, and I don't see an option to connect even though the router's not broadcasting it.
I was hoping that once it established the connection, it would remember and reconnect even after disabling the SSID broadcast, but it doesn't.
If not possible with the stock ROM, is this possible with any of the alt ROMs out there?

Can't connect to wifi network (WPA PSK)

So, after browsing a bit about this I'm still unable to connect to my work wifi network. Every other network I'm able to connect just fine.
I put the wifi password, authenticates, goes to "obtaining ip address", goes back to authenticate.. and doesn't connect.
Forcing (using manual IP configuration) connects but doesn't open websites, even tho I'm using the connect gateway / dns servers. (even used 1st dns same as gateway).
Got a LG 4x next to me connecting just fine, problem is only on my nexus 5.
So far happens on 4.4.2 and 4.4.3.
Tried some tips that I saw around the web like disabing nfc or turning on and off airplane mode (although there isn't much logic in these), but still nothing.
Wifi password is correct.
Problem it seems is somewhere obtaining the ip from the router or something, as it goes back when it reaches this point, but then again forcing it allows me to connect but doesn't open websites.
Any tips? I'm suing WPA2 PSK at home and it's fine.
The network is in a 2ghz range channel 10.
Any help is appreciated.
PS - Router is a linksys WAP54G.
Thanks a lot!

802.1x EAP Wifi reconnect problem after wakeup from sleep

Hello.
I have strange problem with wifi on my Acer A1-840FHD with Android 4.4.2. We have 802.1x EAP secured wifi without certificates. First connection to wifi (including profile creation) is ok, but after some time when device wake up from sleep it can't re-/connect again. Wifi profile needs to be removed and configured again to work. Device is not rooted. I allready tried to reset to factory default, but nothing helps. Any suggestions?

Gear S2 Wifi Authentication

Am I completely missing something here? Why can I not get my watch on our wifi network. It requires authentication. But if I make sure that bluetooth is enabled. It scans the network and I can see it. However if I try to connect it tells me authentication errors. But I can not find a single spot to add login or password or any authentication option. Only options to connect to wifi are AKA and SIM.. How the heck do I get this thing on a wifi network??
Try disconnecting from Bluetooth and allow your phone to locate your wireless network. You should now be prompted for SSID and password. I personally had a hard time entering a complex password as part of WPA2 requirements. So I enabled WPS on my router and used it to connect my S2 fairly quickly. Furthermore, I don't believe it will use Wifi as long as you are connected to the phone via bluetooth. It can switch to wifi if you are out of the range of bluetooth or choose to use the watch in standalone mode.
Sync your saved wifi information from your Samsung account to your watch. It will log into the wifi network. I had the same problem and after syncing with my phone's saved wifi info it says it's logged in but it will not transfer any data on that wifi network.
Works fine on my home network that only requires a password, but I want it to work everywhere I can connect to wifi with my phone.
Haven't found a solution yet.

WI-FI connection problem

Hi experts. I have an Android 6.0 phone with Mediatek processor (MT6580).
Because I don't have money to hire an internet service, I am forced to use my neighbor's WI-FI.
But there is a problem, and that is that WI-FI is used by an average of 8 devices during the day.
And sometimes, some of those devices make intensive use of the internet connection. causing the WI-FI router to saturate.
When this happens, it seems that the WI-FI router starts transmitting the WI-FI signal intermittently.
Then my phone starts to connect and disconnect from the Wi-Fi network automatically (approximately every 3 seconds).
Because of this, the apps that make use of the internet connection, immediately detect the change in the connection, and this represents a big problem for me.
My neighbor's WI-FI router: "TP-LINK WR720N". with security WPA PSK / CCMP / WPS disabled.
I do not have access to the settings of said router, so I cannot change its settings.
My phone is not rooted, but nevertheless I can access the EngineerMode, in which there are options that allow changing parameters related to the WI-FI connection, but I don't understand anything.
My thought is that through the EngineerMode, I can do something to solve the problem mentioned above.
What is your opinion?
Greetings from Venezuela.
