Go to Settings > Apps > All. Force Close YouTube and clear data & check if that helps.
If not, try changing the ROM that you are currently on.

Can someone with the T-Mobile US ICS (official release) version check if it has this issue as well?
I had the issue with Virtious inquisition v. 4.0.2 as well, however now the issue is gone on my current Rom, beats by Grogg. I have not noticed it anyore. No longer a problem. You say you have tried Every Rom and the issue is present in all of them? It's possibly your device then because after switching roms it fixed the problem on my device. I hope you can find a fix. Sorry I can't be of more help! I wish you the best!

Hey guys just wanted to show you some screenshots of the famous CyanogenMod. I am running version 7.1.0. I haven't had any real problems with the ROM yet and i have been running it for about a month. Only thing i have really noticed is that it won't vibrate when i get a text message... even when its on vibrate. Another thing that bugs me is that you do not have the option to set a Live Wallpaper... but you get over it. The kernel i am using is the stock kernel with this ROM... I am wanting to flash a 1.5GHZ kernel, but i never seem to have that much luck flashing kernels and always get stuck at the boot screen. This ROM is plenty fast enough and very smooth on the stock kernel. I also get amazing battery life. Check out the thumbnails below.

Just saw you had troubles getting your phone to boot after a kernel flash. Do you wipe cache and dalvik before you reboot ? If not, that might be the reason it gets stuck in a loopboot.

I just flashed the 1.73ghz faux kernel and i got it to work. =) i also attached a thumbnail of SetCPU showing the clock speed.
Nice let us know how it performs. I'm on HD Rom now with 1.56Ghz Kernel. Happy with the phone as is but always looking for potential improvements. Particularly I want more "4G" speed, not sure there's much I can do about that though.

Why but a sense equipped phone and then downgrade it with ugly CM7? You should really have bought a samsung, at least then the ugliness would be vivid, very bright and have a greenish tinge.
But if thats your preference, enjoy it - We are all different after all

Interesting, I've been looking for a Sense ROM with low battery drain and decent speed, I'll give this a go.
I thought bluetooth was not possible to fix on G1 Sense ROMs?
PS. Hmm it has been sat at the HTC screen for over 30 minutes now. Is this normal?
Rom is stable and fast
but... don't work music player notifications and phone ring

Ok I managed to fix the issue by superwiping and reinstalling a further two times... and it really isn't that fast at all, has crashed twice upon opening keyboard, not sure what to say about the ROM really. <-- fixed by rebooting phone once more as mentioned below.

Yes it is.
EDIT: After a second reboot following app re-installation it is nice and stable!
salute to the infinimod team.BIG THX for the multiple mirrors too, especially mediafire, good looking out! flashed, booted, currently running.moving stable, still has a bit of lag but am coming from the big bad froyobylaszlo, so that's what am comparing it to.lol took some stuff out, maps, stock, etc running better now.keyboard feels sweet, even with haptic feedback on.thx again.
Another error. There is no (some?) audio support, no ringtones work, no soundtrack on videos.
EDIT: "Battery Low" sound and dial pad tones work fine, so it's just the ringtones, notifications, and intermittent video audio tracks that are the problem at the moment.
And there's no way to connect it to the pc... :/
But it's stable.

@Atomix86 & @Rushness
May I ask which devices you guys have?
One thing that may cause issues is not having the requirements stated in the OP. Make sure your sdcard is partitioned correctly and that you are on the new Radio and SPL.

I am using a T-Mobile G1, and have definitely got the new radio & spl combo as i installed them firstly to use cm6 2708 port then froyo by laszlo. Everything on the sd is partitoned correctly, i think the initial install problem was just a hiccup as it is definitely stable after i rebooted once more. Also im not sure why but the A2SDGUI app stated swap was disabled, is this just a display error or should i set it to on with the app?
Sorry if i sounded somewhat disappointed in my posts, just been after a near as perfect as possible sense rom for a while .

OK thanks, I'll keep on trucking with the ROM and give any feedback as necessary. I need to ask though, how do I go about fixing the audio issue ?
yeah am curious bout a resolution for the audio issue too.I use 3rd party app ttpod music player to listen music but still need other stuff like ringtone etc
Now that the Virtuous Quattro's forum page on XDA is closed, i didn't know where to go...
I am having issues with the browser... All browsers i've tried, 4 to be exact, always seem to crash, regardless of which site i use. Anyone have the same issue or have a fix?
The phone always seems to reboot itself randomly, very annoying...
Secondly, there's no Mass storage/USB file transfer to the PC, has that been solved?
-------
Can anyone recommend me a ROM with full ICS Stock, (No Sense)? I've tried a few, but i was wondering if there is one with android beam or face unlock, or one where the wifi doesn't die every few minutes haha, (don't have data!)
Many great ones, but i would like one stable enough with no crashes or reboots
Or with a working video camera?
(I am new here... only 5 posts so yes, some of what i say MAY have been asked before or just seem foolish - i apologize in advance!)

I assume that your problem lies with an incompatible mod or a kernel issue...
Try CM7 or CM9? or Virtuous Inquisition...

Thanks everyone!
I will definitely try the CM9, and i did use Inquisition at one point, super smooth and beautiful. However, its the sensation-Android 4 stock hybrid that bugged me, personally. The caller keeps crashing on me, but again, my opinion but i would like something different.
I'm even thinking about even trying Android Revolution HD... it looks soo tempting haha, even though i was trying to move away from sense, the speed and really customizable features is appealing!
Again, thanks everyone!
You could try HyperNonSense.
Hey guys,
I just flashed my phone with the most recent ARHD rom w/the double shot camera and I've noticed a big issue with the camcorder. First of all, it will force close if i try to record anything in 720P. When I lower the resolution down to 480P it will record, but as soon as I stop it force closes. On the camera side, I notice that burst shot causes the camera program to freeze up but that's not a big issue. Let me know if you guys have a solution for the camcorder. Otherwise, i'll have to change to a different rom.
Thanks!
My wife has ARHD on her phone and has no such issue.
I would do a FULL wipe (try 4EXT recovery), and reflash ROM and camera. You may want to re-download one or both.
If you decide to switch, try Energy ROM.

someone in my ARHD thread found a fix for doubleshot camera recording, try that.
also, burst shot freezing is normal, since our camera hardware isn't designed for that.

Sweet. I'm going to try it out this weekend. I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks again.
So I finally got around to flashing the tweak and I'm happy to report that the videocam now records at 720P (though it force crashes if I were to preview the video right after it finishes recording but I'm fine w/that). I have a question regarding the battery. I used UOT to create a custom battery icon that shows percentage. The tweak removed that mod. Is it still safe to reflash my original battery mod?
Thanks!
I am about to flash this and try it thanks for posting this guys

The first one that's listed on the ARHD page. Apparently the 2nd version is quite buggy. As much as I liked ARHD, i'm now on Coredroid and it's been running great so far. I would've gone back to Virtuous Unity 2.39.0 but the links are all broken.

The only thing that I do not like about Virtuous roms is that they do not update their roms often. A there are some things that do not work but on most of the other roms they do. I would not recommend you going back to Unity rom
I recently flashed this ROM and it appears to work pretty well. I'm just curious to know if anyone else has tried it? The only issue I see so far is some apps lag a little, but the battery life appears to be adequate. Total noob here so wanted to say thanks for all you guys do. I just flashed this ROM yesterday. The only issue I had was with the headphones (it would detect my favorite ones as Beats, but then there would be no sound. Cheap phones would produce sound, but not my good ones). The dev (sun_dream) quickly offered a patch that fixed this issue so now this ROM is my "daily driver". I'm not noticing any lag, it is running very well. I haven't had a chance to ascertain battery life yet. I do enjoy the look and feel of this, ICS with Sense 4.1. Note, you can switch to Sense 4.0a if you like using the HTC Sense ST app. From what I hear, Sense 4.0a is a little less resource intensive so could give you a little bit more responsive feel. I'm not sure what you sacrifice, though.
So far the only things that don't work: Face Unlock is really buggy with this. And the Gracenote app to download album covers for the built in Music app doesn't seem to download anything. And HTC Hub never finds anything to download. Those are very minor quibbles I can live with.

You can flash it while being S-ON. All you need to do is extract the boot.img from the ZIP file. Flash the ROM as normal, then use Fastboot to flash the boot.img separately. There is a good guide on here that tells you exactly how to do it.

I finally had to go back to a stock-based Gingerbread ROM (my old standby Miktouch 0.7). This ICS Sense4 ROM just had too many little "gotchas" that made it unstable. The fix for the earphones cause it to completely crash if you try to record any sound. Everytime I tried to use an app like Soundhound or Shazam or MusixMatch, the phone would instantly reboot. I just discovered that is due to the patch that makes the earphones work.
I guess if you don't mind a portion of your phone being unusable, these ICS ROMs would be OK. For me, personally, I want all of the phone to work as it should, so I'm going back to stock ROM.
I haven't had the same experience with the headphones issue. So far my Subjekt phones have worked fine and no FC's. As far as the ROM goes the lag has seemed to have disappeared and I blocked some apps & processes using Gemini App Mgr. The Face Unlock is buggy for me as well. So far no other problems.
