The extended settings are just flashable zips, but the framework-res.apk do the following :
Long press on /system/framework-res.apk and write down the permission settings. (You will need that later)
Cut and paste the new downloaded file into /system/framework
It will ask if it's OK to overwrite, say yes.
The market will force close, but that is normal.
Set the permissions the same as you wrote down at the beginning and reboot.
That is all there is to it, but please let me know if you have any other questions.

Yes. Go to miui control panel app that the mod installed and you will find the settings in there.

I've tried a couple times with right and center one and they work but the app doesn't show up. Just the clock moves. I mounted system? Anything else I can try?

Did you try looking in the tools folder? It might've put itself in there. Just a shotnin the dark.

Yeah I thought the samething but not dice. Clock is in the middle as we speak my the settings are no where to be found.

Make certain you mount /system in recovery before you install the zip. I just loaded this and Miui Control Panel is now there. Earlier i did it without mounting /system and didnt pay attention to the error when i flashed..

in ES, i tried the wallpaper color setting but when i switch back to any image as wallpaper the image is distorted, it's tiled in an ugly way, is there a way i can fix it without flashing my backup?
edit: simple reboot fixed the problem

tweaked the newest version of miuimusic.apk so that the 4x1 music widget is transparent, let me know if you guys are interested

[APP] [NEW] Clone of Xperia X10 Home [1.6 look alike][V2.0!!!]

SOLVED INSTALLATION ISSUES!!! UPDATED TO V2.0!
Strolling though the market I came across a free launcher called Secret Launcher now it's not the best launcher but hey, I used its APK to clone our old 1.6 launcher which oddly enough I missed lol
Remember, I did not create this app so expect no support for the app, I just themed it from our old 1.6 launcher, the new xperia S launcher, a few icons I made (ex: folder), left a few icons from the original app because they don't do much. If there is something to do with the theme, post it here so I can fix it. Any suggestions for my next projects are also welcome.
TESTED ON CM7.2 FXP116! SHOULD WORK ON ALL ROMS!
I TRIED MAKING THIS TOTALLY NOOB PROOF!!

Things to note:
・The app installs an icon called simple home because apparently it's supposed to be secret :S
・To hide apps go to the simple clock icon in your app drawer, long press on the clock and select "Selects hidden icons"
・To apply hidden icons long press on the clock once more and select "Hides selected icons"
・To undo hidden icons select "Redisplay all icons"
Installation:
1. Copy to SD card
2. Flash through CWM
3. Reboot
4. Enjoy!

first, nice work!

Here is the patch for Grinders Cyan theme that will theme the SystemUI (statusbar) correctly on the newest Sense 5 V3.
This will theme the new toggles as well.
Please be sure to thank Grinder for his hard work.
After flashing the whole theme posted above flash this.
I nor anyone else is responsible for any damage you may do to your phone.

Sense 5 Cyan version 2 is now available to download
I have inverted the majority of the Rom in this release. Just flash through recovery and enjoy
Also you no longer need to install e.cadro fix for my theme as I have included this in latest version
Attached are the boot animation and down animation to go with theme. I'm not sure how you would install on this Rom but if you rename boot one to bootanimation.zip and down as downanimation.zip and copy and paste them into system/customize/resources.

This is awesome. I've been waiting for someone to do this. My biggest requests: the status bar brightness mod (this is in some Sense ROMs as well...), the lockscreen mod where you can skip tracks while listening to music with the volume keys, and customizable lockscreen targets.

How about a CM10 circle battery without the percentage? That would be great. Thanks

When all else failed trying to install HK

This is for those who are having difficulty installing Harmon Kardon on their devices.
I tried to get HK to install on a fresh clean rom and could not get it to install to save my life.
I finally got tired of it and installed Beats Audio instead. Well later on just for sh*ts and giggles, I decided to try and flash HK over the top of my Beats Audio bam it worked. Then I installed Viper Audio to work with HK. Sounds pretty damn good.
This is the only way I have found to get HK to install on my device.
**First of all I am NOT responsible for ANYTHING you do to your phone nor is anything listed here my work. This is only a tutorial & links tha I put together to help you to get HK up and running on your device.**

How I got this to work is as follows...
**You must flash these zip files in order**
> 1st nandroid, nandroid, nandroid.
> 2nd wip Cache & Dalv.
> 3rd flash Beats.zip
> 4th flash the hk_enable_and_adsp_update_v3.zip
> 5th flash the verizon_hk_settings_fix.zip

> This method does remove the Venom menu from the system menu list, but "after you get it all working you should be able to flash the Verizon HK settings menu from the hub, if you did want the venom entries back." Worked perfect for me. > Reboot & Profit.

I'm gonna share a edit I learned from the badseed team. Using root explorer or something similar go to system/customize/ACC/default.xml and look about 10 lines up from the bottom. On the hk audio line change false to true and on the BoomSound line change it to false. I'm not sure if this addresses this particular problem but if you have the hk firmware installed then this "should" enable it.

Settings/App manager/Viper Audio, untick show notifications.

yeah i noticed this too. and im having issues with the drivers from the app even installing. no matter the option..it fails

try to Longpress the icon in your notification bar and uncheck notifications

The white icon is for Viper Audio. Open Viper4Audio and go to settings and click "hide notification"

Can beats.zip be installed on stock 4.4.3 update? Just wondering cause I'm not a fan of BoomSound.
