Ondemand with deadline is my favourite setting. I would advise you _thalamus' kernel if you don't overclock!

I have installed the Matr1x and the Trinity kernel But i think that the trinity waste more battery than the matr1x so i am thinking about staying with Matr1x

The kernel has been overclocked before. However its not confirmed that it works. Therefore it was removed i think.

Ok let me make it clearer. Uc kernel v5 had different versions of it, each one theorectically has oced the gpu by a certain amount. However noone has been able to provide solid evidence to show that the gpu overclock is working. Im not sure if it was removed it v7,8 and 9.
Cheers

Best Smartassv2 settings?

What has everyone found is the best min/max settings using the above governor? I have looked but didn't see any topic that covered this and was curious what everyone has found to be the best

Trafalger,
Are you using this kernel on a Verizon S III?
I found the TMOUS download link, but didn't see anything in the post confirming that the kernel would work on one of our phones ...

i tried it but it says kernel is unavailable for my tablet version (n8013)
Trie it and it works good, but needs stock rom and kernel, I set my clock to 1.6 ghz to be same as note 2 (we have got same processor ) ,so far 1.6 ghz is safe as it is already supported by the processor, I'm on stock 4.1.1 uk rom

1.6ghz works. Anything above this freezes and reboots.
Why do you need to overclock this beast?? It runs beautiful every game highest settings!!
