SDCARD Partitioning Tutorial.
I know that with EXT4, partitioning the sdcard can be a hassle. Here's a little workaround to help you get it partitioned the easiest way I know without having to mount systems and such in Terminal Emulator. This way makes you flash 2 seperate recoveries, but I would rather do this than the other methods which could take upwards of a half hour or even longer. I've seen people that were working on it for a couple hours. Without further adieu:
NOTE: If you are running RFS, just follow step 1. and you'll be done. If you are running EXT4, skip right to step 2. and follow from there.
1. If you are running RFS, then you do not need to follow any other steps. In the green CWM2.5.5 recovery, just go to "advanced" in recovery and choose the Partition option. It's going to give you two questions for sizes that you want. The first size is going to be the ext size. For this it will give you a few options, but I don't recommend choosing anything below 512. You will see all the options when they pop up, just choose what you feel most comfortable with. The next thing it's going to tell you to select is the swap size. I again don't recommend choosing anything below 128 for this option. You will again see a list of options, so choose what you feel most comfortable with.
2. If you are running EXT4, then follow these steps and you'll be up and running with your new partition very soon. First thing you need to do is gather all the tools you're going to need. Here are the list of tools you will need:
A. One Click Root & Recovery 2.5.5
B. One Click Root & Recovery 3.0.0.6
Quite the long list huh? lol ...I told you it's gonna be simple lol.
Download both of these files (if you don't have one or the other already) and extract them to an easy to find location on your computer somewhere.
3. Ok, you're going to do this just the same as you would if you were rooting your phone from a stock state. And to answer your question that's running through your head right now, No, this will not return you to RFS. You will still be on EXT4 the entire time, so there's not real need to backup your sdcard or worry about having to sit through the backup&restore again. Once again, to be very clear... Even though you are flashing cwm2.5.5 recovery, you will REMAIN EXT4. So let's continue. Make sure USB Debugging is on and plug your phone into your computer. Do NOT mount the sdcard, just have the phone plugged in. Open the One Click Root & Recovery 2.5.5, and run the program. When it's finished, your phone will reboot. Do NOT unplug it until the script is complete. The script will say "Operation Complete. Hit any button to continue" or something along those lines. Just hit a button and the script will automatically close. You can now reboot into recovery and you will see the 2.5.5 recovery with the green letters. If you don't have the green letters, then you didn't run the right One Click, and you should start over using the correct one lol . For those that successfully flashed the 2.5.5 recovery, move on to step 4.
4. If you have the green letters, then we'll continue, if not, repeat step 3. with the correct one click lol. Now that you have the green letters, revert to step 1. When you're finished following the same instructions from step 1, move on to step 5. If you have any issues with anything from step 1. (which you shouldn't, but if you do) click here to go to Mibbit's irc chat website. Along the top left side you will see 2 tabs labeled "Home" and "Connect". Make sure you are on the tab that says "Home". When on the tab labeled "Home", you will see the box in the middle of the page. Right beside the letters "IRC:" is a dropdown box. You're going to click on the dropdown arrow and select "EFNET". Next, you're going to enter your nickname, and finally, beside "channel:" type "#viper" and select "Go". That will bring you to Team Vipers chat where one of us will be able to help you.
5. Now that you are partitioned, it's time to restore the EXT4 recovery. If you do not restore the EXT4 recovery, you will not be able to flash any new ROM's or Kernels, so you MUST restore the correct recovery. To do so, you simply do the same steps. Make sure USB Debugging is turned on and plug your phone in. You do NOT need to mount. Now you simply run the 3.0.0.6 One Click Root & Recovery. Let it run through it's process and it will reboot itself. Do NOT exit out of the command prompt until it says "finished, press any key to continue". Once your phone reboots, you can then reboot into recovery and you will see that you have the orange letters again. When you see the orange letters, you now have a partitioned sdcard and you are back on the correct recovery.
**ONCE THE KERNEL IS RELEASED (Which should be within the next 24 hours as long as my testers don't see any issues) THEN MOVE ON TO STEP 6.**
6. Now that you're partitioned, the only thing left to do is flash the kernel. Connect your phone to your computer and copy the Kernel to your sdcard if you have not done so already. To flash it, just choose "Install zip from sdcard" followed by "Choose zip from sdcard" and simply navigate to where you stored it on your sdcard. That's all. It's quite quick and painless and you should be able to do it all within 10-15 minutes.

3.0.1 is just a new name for it so if we make updates there's less confusion... It's still the same as 3.0, but hopefully this will eliminate some questions in the thread lol.

I think 3.0.1 is just the updated version of 3.0.
3.0.1 does have the aosp lock screen the 4g is fixed
and couple other things... At least that i think lol

nope you don't have to...just wipe 3x, wipe cache 2x, and wipe dalvik cache ONCE and flash the rom then you are good to go (assuming you are using the correct modem and if not then flash it first with odin)

Widget locker is good, I installed it and then moved it to system apps. Works perfectly

2.2 is for the vibrant, minfree is setting the phones task killer settings (I recommend doing this), restoring the boot animation gives you a new boot animation, you can set a schedule if you want, and of course all the uninstall options

I have the correct modem and 3.0 is working great. I have tried most of the other roms and yours have been the best by far. I thank you guys for that.

Must have cwm recovery to install. This install does not erase data but always remember to manually delete data if you are not coming from a CM7 based Rom... and backup your data and rom​
HOW TO INSTALL
Prerequisite: You must be running a kernel with CWM and be on the FROYO BASEBAND
1) Download SuperOSR ROM and place it on your SD card.
2) Power off your phone.
3) With the phone powered off, hold volume button down and the power button for about 10 seconds and then release all three when you see the lg logo disappear and reappear. This should boot you into CWM.
4) Select "wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe advanced/dalvick".
5) Select "install zip from sdcard" and navigate to and select V
SUPEROSR
6) Once done click Reboot System Now.​

hahaha, ya sure... "soon"... wait for that to happen maybe spring next year

Just messing with stuff... Eventually it will mix with ics also... Every development of a Rom or port has to start somewhere... I have like 6 Rom going for 3 different phones. so eventually i want all three phones with similar Rom

Installed, bootet normaly but not asking for PIN and no network no working INT or EXT SD and reboots(especially in SEMC Launcher). Flashed V10K Baseband WIPED installed again but no working network and Reboots and no working INTERNAL or EXTERNAL SD Card again.....

usb otg = usb on the go. I cannot use it in froyo for K-Touch w700 for Indonesia. so, has this rom can operate usb on the go?

I want to ask you some question. And I would be really glad for the answer.
I want to do some modification to your rom. Actually, the modification is only some deletion to some file so the rom will be smaller and lighter. So, the questions are only about is it safe to delete some files or not. And the other questions are about what is the function of the files that I want to delete. Here is the file:
1. I delete VoiceSearch.apk in system/app.
Is it save to remove?
2. I delete ime in system/bin.
What is it? What is the function of it? Is it save to remove?
3. I delete ime in system/framework.
What is it? What is the function of it? Is it save to remove?
4. I delete VoiceDialer.g2g in system/usr/srec/config/en.us/grammars.
What is it? What is the function of it? Is it save to remove?
7. I modify bootanimation.zip and shutdownanimation.zip in system/media until these files only have one picture in their folder ‘0’. I want to make the zip smaller so it will be lighter for the handheld to boot.
Is it safe?

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INSTALLING THE ROM
1.boot into recovery mode by holding power button+volume up button+volume down button.
2.then wipe data/factory reset ,wipe cache partition.
3.go to advanced menu and wipe delvic cache
4.then go to mounts and storage and select format system
5.now select install zip from sd card.choose zip from sd card.
6.locate and select the rom's zip file.
7.after flashing reboot the phone and enjoy the new experience
THOUGH VERY RARE BUT... If in case you get only 150-160mb ram free after 2 days of usage than pls take backup of imp. things like contacts, apps and simply reflash the rom. The cache partition is now not used by android system.though our canvas 2 has got 504mb of cache space but out of it,hardly 10 mb is used...so we can create a swap file there without disrupting the android system.
sd card read and write speed is less than the read and write speed of system. THEREFORE SWAP IN CACHE PARTITION IS MUCH FASTER AND EFFICIENT THAN SWAP FILE CREATED IN SD CARD.
there is no use of sd card in this type of swap.HENCE NO MEMORY CARD DEGRADATION.IT DOES NOT AT ALL EFFECT THE LIFE OF YOUR SD CARD.
this is not even disrupted even while unmounting sd card or while connecting phone as usb mass storage.SO FEEL FREE TO UNMOUNT IT.

I have simply edited the build.prop to increase the compatibility of some games and apps.
Its is basically 4.1.1 stock b based only.

and last of all windows style Gallery.. (though it has one major bug.. gets FC every time you press the back button)
please add these features too! i have a totally Windows looking phone.. but will still try out your ROM!

Actually i didn't prefer Windows keyboard etc.. because i thought 4.2 keyboard with swipe feature was better.

[Custom Rom][Twrp]Intex Aqua Star 2 HD[sc7731]

So after a long time I have successfull ported a custom rom for Intex aqua star 2 hd. First of all I want to thank @ki (I do not know his actual name name,sorry sir) for a wonderful porting thread and Jiteshwar for helping me in fixing all the bugs.
First of all you will need a custom recovery to flash this rom...so here it is...!!!
Download and flash it with flashify app available in play store.
(Note: the phone must be rooted before flashing recovery. There are plenty of ways to root your phone but most easiest way is to use the kingroot app)

1.There is some problem with the root
(Just install kingroot apk. It might detect the error. Just turn your wifi/mobile data on and click the fix root button. It worked for me.)

If you are having intex aqua star 2 (not that hd model) no need to worry. You just need to port the rom. And it will be easy as all the major bugs r fixed.(as per the star 2 hd) But if you encounter any bug just post it in this thread and I will try my best to solve it.

IF KEYBOARD IS NOT WORKING THEN TRY THIS:
1.Go to settings > apps > google keyboard. And click force stop.
2.Again open settings > language & input > google keyboard > languages. And then disable 'use system language' and enable the languages you want.

2. Some settings are not functioning.
3. Auto brightness not working
4. No headphone sign when a headphone is inserted.
The rom is still in beta stage so there might be some other issues too. Bugs reports are highly appreciated. If anyone gets some fix to any remaing bugs then please share with us.

There are many tutorials in youtube...it would be better to understand. But still I am telling it to you if you wish to read than to watch a video.
I am assuming that you have successfully flashed the twrp recovery given in this thread. If not then reply in this thread and tell your issues.
First off all boot into twrp recovery. It is simple. Just switch off your phone and the press the power button for 1 sec and then press and hold the volume up button (without releasing the power button) till your intex's hello android logo appears.
Now wait till the recovery boots up. Then backup your current rom by clicking the backup options. It is better to take a backup in an sd card.
Now go to wipe option and then to advanced wipe and then select dalvik cache, data, system and cache. And then swipe right to wipe. Wait till twrp finishes wiping.
Then go back and click install. Then go to the place where you have kept the downloaded rom and fixes. Select those and install one by one.
First install the rom...then the 2 fixes that I have given in this thread...and then the gapps zip that you have download. After finishing click reboot. It will take some time (around 10 mins) to boot for the first time.

No bro it is still left....and I am not sure about miui 7 as it never booted up everytime I tried.
