Thought I would start this.
Anyone notice that this rom requires you to press Harder (longer) to get action out of touch capabilities? Never noticed this on any other questions roms. Any way to adjust this

Ok I guess nobody is using this Rom since there has been no questions and I know it has its issues. The author has not even been around to help. So this can be closed.

I don't think anyone knew about thread. I know I didn't know about
Sent from my galaxy s 4g using XDA app
Probably not being used because the rom thread is allowing questions. I could be wrong though.

But seems to me that this phone is sightly related to the Att GSII well the GSII but not by a lot. Wouldn't it be easier to take those roms and work on them to port them? Just asking an question.

Just wondering if the tapatalk app is really worth getting if xda is the only forum I visit? Should I be on other forums as well, even though they all seem to link back here for everything?
Stupid I know lol but curiosity got the better of me.

Continue using the xda app. Its better IMO
I consider Tapatalk one of my must have apps, but I'm also a forum junky. I'm a member of about a half dozen I visit daily, plus one I run.
sent from here to there...
Does anyone use digital spy and reckon they should launch an app for there forums?

Tapatalk is awesome...a forum junkies most used app

Thanks guys, I appreciate the input
Sent from my Rejected Crack SPH-D710
they're almost the same imo, but XDA the app is much easier to navigate
Just like everyone else has said, if you use a lot of different forums then tapatalk is great!
If you just use XDA, then by all means use the XDA app, it's much better.
I love my gs3 but the signal strength is intolerable. I want to complain and possibly get something different but I have no idea where to start. Any suggestions?

I know this isn't answering your question but my signal strength has been fantastic from the HE build and beyond. Prior to that however it was horrid. You're not running an old radio by any chance are you?

I got a replacement s3 and the new one gets great service. You probably have a defective device like I did

Wow. So we got the other thread about swapping locked, now you start another one?
Well played, sir. Well played. Soon enough you'll learn how to get a Note 2.

Then the galaxy s4 will have better reception than the note 2.

@1ManWolfePack ..Dont derail the thread like the last one. If it bothers you that much just dont go in it jeez. I dont think its right if you dont have issues and just want to play the system but im not on here to teach life lessons. I agree with some of the things you said but just stay out of it.

As I understand it, they'll first start out by giving you a replacement or two to try and fix the issue. If that doesn't work, they'll offer you an alternate device as they seem to be aware of the signal issue the GS3 has; they'll probably offer a galaxy nexus, razr maxx or DNA. I heard people say the DNA fixes the signal issue.

1ManWolfePack could have reported the thread and gotten it possibly closed. He didn't and just gave a friendly reminder. Instead of thanking 1ManWolfePack he just gets *****ed at for a basic mistake OP made.
Anyway I'm reporting and hopefully a mod will clean the crap and merge things. Merry Christmas to all.

I'm just gonna close so the op doesn't get flamed... My xmas gift lol. If you wanna help the op pm him everyone that may be able to help... And a merry christmas everybody!!
Not really a big deal but it would be cool to see on our skyrocket. Our developers are so awesome so it wouldn't surprise me to see it. Getting it on nexus 7 and would love to have it on both.

Honestly probably not; and I think it's a gimmick at the moment. A phone entirely controlled by gestures? Sounds great in theory, but not great in practice
I guess I'll find out soon enough on my nexus 7.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
It gets open sourced on the 21st so anyone can take a shot at porting it.

one word: BB10, blackbery's new os is entirely gesture drive
but we don't have enough devs for a port of something like this, its massive... I truly believe that unless a device with similar chip set/CPU gets it we likely won't. Don't get me wrong our devs are great, just few
Would be nice, as would Firefox OS but i'm more hot for Ubuntu for Android as that would finally rid me of having a technically unnecessary pc
I use a gesture based OS on my blackberry playbook daily. It is incredibly smooth when done correctly. If Ubuntu does it correctly, then I wouldn't mind having it ported. If it's done badly, then it just wouldn't be worth it.

True, this leads me to believe it won't be as hard as people are thinking to get this to build yes it will involve a lot of work but I'm not thinking its going to be some herculean task.
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I727 using Tapatalk 2
I was reading it and cannocal says it's supposed to be easy to port. I just hope our phone will be able to run it smoothly. It should but I guess we'll just have to find out.

Working on porting it now actually if git servers ever decide to sync.
I hope it's easy to do. I love android but I've always wanted to try a different operating system. Not gonna make it permanent but it'd be cool to use sometimes. Anyone know if you can back it up with recovery and restore it later? I'll ask over in the nexus 7 forums as well.
Sent from my SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
You can if you make a flashable zip. Installing via bootstrapper deletes everything iirc.
Cannocal has already made a flashable zip for the nexus devices. You have to fastboot flash a .img file.
Sent from my SGH-I727 using xda app-developers app
Someone in the n7 forums said you can backup and restore with cwm.
