As you did not get the message the first couple times, let me be clear: Do not create any more threads asking the same question over and over.
Did you look in the Galaxy Y section? In the time it took you to create all those threads/posts, you could have answered your own question by doing a little reading.
Here are a few threads that give you all you need to know:

Questions Should Not Go Here

I'm posting this in both the Galaxy Y and Galaxy Y Duos Section
People have been posting in development sections that is not development for several different reasons, some because they consider it a development question or the post is a Galaxy Y Duos question and they don't see a Galaxy Y Duos section. These should still go in the Question and Answers forum. Only development can go in the development section. This includes ROMs, MODs, etc. Coming soon threads or guides for develop still go in General as well. Hope this gets rid of some confusion.
Let me know if you have anymore questions.
i second the motion :good:
keep this neat and clean.
i just hope that people will notice this,
some members here have bad eyesight and see the sticky threads as "invisible"
Thanks for your guide at mentioning our mistakes especially for a newbie like me

Q&A for How to ROOT Galaxy Note 10.1 3G/Wifi! [N8000/N8013/N8010]
Some developers prefer that questions remain separate from their main development thread to help keep things organized. Placing your question within this thread will increase its chances of being answered by a member of the community or by the developer.

If you can't find an answer, post it here, being sure to give as much information as possible (firmware version, steps to reproduce, logcat if available) so that you can get help.
Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!
I just purchased a refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note GT N8013 10.1 (the original) today and I was wondering how I could access the zip folder/files and drivers mentioned at How To Root Galaxy Note 10.1! [Easiest Method][CWM][Method 2][ICS/Jelly Bean]? The links no longer work... It was reference in the thread How to ROOT Galaxy Note 10.1 3G/Wifi! [N8000/N8013/N8010]. I hope the zip folder/files and drivers are available somewhere. If not, could someone please upload these for us laymen?
I'd be much obliged. lol I'm a total noob to the process of directly rooting an Android device, but I'm somewhat familiar with the jargon. I taught myself how to copy 4.2.2 from a micro SD card onto another micro SD card to root a Nook Tablet. I think I could do this as well... if I had the necessary files and drivers (i.e., RootGalaxyNote10.1.zip, USB Drivers for Windows, and stock recovery files) that were originally at http://downloadandroidrom.com/file/GalaxyNote10.1 None of the required links seem to work at that site. They upgraded their servers in August. Maybe that's why. Maybe I'm supposed to become a VIP member at DownloadAndroidRom.com to be able to download the files? I don't know.
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
This isn't working for me. After I click start in odin everything completes and the note restarts itself but it isn't root. I also do not get the same menu when holding the power and volume up, I get the traditional android menu.
