Because We May - Big sale on Android games! (May 24 through June 1) - Xperia Play Themes and Apps

Because We May looks like an initiative for developers to put their games for sale for whatever % they feel like. Most of them range from 50% up to absolutely free. The sale also includes platforms like Steam, Mac, iOS, Xbox360, etc.
Most of the Google Play games have been featured in past Humble Bundles for Android. Still, great games like Shadowgun and Gunman Clive are there too.
Finally, developers can still join this sale while it takes place. You only need to go this link and fill up the form. I know some people on xda have made their games so I encourage you to join this!

Best Games

Free or not. Android obviously. What are the best (or your favorite Android Games)?
One of my favourite games is Speedx 3D. If you have red-green-glasses it will be in 3D (but haven't tested yet)
Can knockdown at the minute...great for stress relief.
It really depends on what games you like, or if you play games on your phone at all. For me, having 2 consoles and a powerful gaming pc at home results in me not interested in mobile games at all.
I did own Wordsmith, Fruit Ninja and Angry Birds briefly but uninstalled all of them later.
Reckless racing (top-down 3d racer), angry birds, glow hockey, and hex defense (tower defense) are the only games I've found interesting on android.
Jetcar stunts if the idea of drifting in a jetcar on platforms in the sky sounds fun try the lite or the full at $2.99 also the best games for high end devices is on gameloft in the android section not the android market. But for free angry birds and stupid zombies are the best imo happy gaming

I've literally bought every app, except the toddler apps. which I'll regret not buying later when I had a toddler.
I think it is because Amazon Appstore has conditioned me to just purchase the daily free app even though I don't really need it.

It is important to point this out. GetJar has some of these 10c apps for Free. Better than 10c. They are a legit/legal service, just incase you are wondering. Just get the GetJar app from the android market. Here is a crossmatch of what they are offering for free.
Paper Camera
Beautiful Widgets (No longer working)
Can Knockdown 2
Farm Frenzy
Baseball Superstars 2011
Undoubtably, for the next 5 days, there will be some offered for 10c, where the app can be had for free.
Luckily, the only app I bought for 10c was Can Knockdown 2. I can deal with wasting 10c.
I would just like to point out one more thing. On the last day, 10th day, of the 10c app deals, they should be releasing GTA III for $4.99. Can't wait!

Contract Killer and Contract Killer: Zombies are NOT free.
Yes, the games are free to download (30+MB) free to play only the introduction (first round) then you have to spend REAL money to buy some virtually weapons to shoot (Zombies for example). This is the most ridiculous thing ever on earth.

3.Words with friends
4.Grand Prix Story
5.Bejeweled 2
Well your list is pretty good.As these are my favorites thus these become must have android games for me.

Glu really dropped the ball on these games, Contract Killer used to be an awesome game. That is until they started updating the game, adding weapons that are ridiculously expensive (seriously, who is going to spend $50+ on a single purchase in a game, to buy a gun?) I have purchased about $10 worth of credits, b/c the game was really fun and I was playing it every day, since they started with the updates I have hardly played at all.
Some other games that I really enjoy are
Where's My Water (if you buy it, get it from Play Store not Amazon, they have been behind at least one update for months)
World of Goo
Trial X (X, X2, X2 Winter) got them all as Amazon free apps of the day
Modern Combat 3 (very cool game, just wish it worked on my Kindle Fire)
Asphalt 6: Adrenaline
Cut The Rope
Plants vs. Zombies
Worms
fpse, N64 emulator?
Well Galaxy on fire 2 seems to be missing and its also free (well kinda... but im happy to find that app back since i had the 1 and 2 on my "old" 3gs and paid both still i have no credit card and the only advantage i've seen for Apple was the itunes cards xD... now i have at last a tegra device and happy with it ( and the best under ICS ))
Sent from my folio100 using XDA Premium HD app
TRIPLE TOWN! xD
Sent from my Sense 3.6 Glacier using XDA Premium.
Plants vs Zombies and World of Goo <3
My other favourites:
-Where' s my water?
-Abduction! World Attack
-Pixel Rain
Besides shooting and racing games, I do play Sudoku, Mathdoku, UnBlock ME, Router.
I need to admit, Angry Birds Space are keeping up with the originality
Cut the Rope Experiments is pretty awesome too.
My favorite android games:
Angry Birds/Rio/Season/Space
Battleheart
Cut the rope
Dude Perfect
Fieldrunner
GTA III
Lets Golf 2 HD
Osmos
Puzzle Quest 2
Plants vs Zombies
Reckless Racing 2
Sentinel 3
Trail X2

I have some games, just to try out the gaming experience on the tablet. Never been a heavy gamer, but I had played few extensively (Ghost Recon, Need4Speed, Max Payne)...
So, yeah, Max Payne - installed it, seems pretty nice! Hard though, as i am not yet used to touchscreen based playing. But good old Max rox
Yeah, Riptide's fun.
I'm not really shooters' fan, so haven't tried Shadowgun.
In my apps thread I've included games, but let me just copy it there, as there in fact should be a separate games thread
Favourite(?) games:
- Heroes Call THD (Edit 15.07.2012: the developer has responded to my email and was kind enough to offer me gems for free after my loss of data; btw, linking to Facebook account can help you move progress between many devices, this way I got back my progress from the iPad ); Broken Sword: Director's Cut; GTA III; Angry Birds (Space and earlier)
- I'm about to try more than few clicks in some games that seem promising: Siegecraft THD, Grabatron, Six Guns, Wind-up Knight
- some classics: TrialX2 (Winter), Cut the Rope HD, Robo Defense (quite big on this screen, but still cool)
Not really tablet or even infinity specific, but i love Osmos and Gyro.
Simple, yet addictive.

Yeah, I told you I liked it from the very beginning! Forgot it was you, n1.
You can add Broken Sword: Director's Cut to the list, it's a great classic revived, although I liked it better in lower res (had it on iPad), as you can see some pixels on FHD.. but, on the other hand, this adds this retro style to it.

Do many games support keyboard controls? My PC's PSU is awaiting replacement or I'd try some splashtop (or whatever asus calls it) gaming with steam. Touchscreen controls never exactly wowed me, save for casual or top down strategy like tower defense, and accelerometer controls have just never wowed me at all.

I think some do actually. I think GTA III supports keyboards, I also think that CS Portable might work too.
Even though I've got a bunch of other THD/marketplace games, I find myself playing emulators more often than official android developed games!
My favorite is yongzh's N64oid. Runs better than Mupen64 Plus AE in my opinion, and all the games I have tried have been very smooth on the infinity. Super Smash Bros, Star Fox, Animal Crossing, Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask, Kirby, Mario Kart, etc, etc all run near-perfect, emulate at native resolution, and look amazing on the TF700. Add an HD texture pack (ex: 1 2 3) and it the graphic quality will rival or surpass most new android games!

Wow I didn't even know people made full re-texture packs. That's actually quite cool! I'll be putting some of those in N64oid, that was one thing I didn't like about playing emulators, the textures look awful when stretched to 1080p.
I know majority here probably wants some 3d and heavy graphics games list, but I simply love simple and addictive games.
New star on my list: Auralux. Crazy!

Just tried dijipi's pack for OOT and super smash bros HD pack, both working great on N64oid, doesn't seem to slow it down at all!
Here are all available (WIP or Complete) texture packs for N64.
