To start I'm not sure if this is the right place to post considering I can't post on the development thread yet.
So I was running the quickwiz 1.0.3 rom and i flashed the dag kernel and accidentally did a data wipe, so I then restored it to a previous backup. Now there are random times where my phone will lock the screen and it won't turn back on. I've tried doing fix permissions in rom manager and cwm. I tried reflashing the same rom via cwm, and the issue still sticks. I have yet to try Odin and don't really want to. Any ideas?

To add on, the only fix I have for now is to remove the battery and manually reboot. Everytime I do this the battery will drop from anywhere to 5% - 20% sometimes the battery will slowly rise up again.

If you are running da_g kernel, it has sleep of death issues

The same thing has been happening to me. I went into cwm the first time and re-enabled lagfix b/c apparently it disabled it...and when i rebooted it was fine. About an hour later it went back into airplane mode. I tried the recovery thing again and it said it was still enabled. Even tried disabling and enabling again but nothing.
I'm pretty sure I saw on one of the CM7 threads that a battery pull will fix that.
Im also having problems backing up 2.3.4 with any version of cwm. Any ideas?
How do you give thanks on here...im new to this site. It worked!!! It may get annoying but a fix is a fix.
I tried batt pull. It didn't work earlier. I had to reflash ee19. Secondly, on the 2.3 roms u are not supposed to enable lagfix.

Download this and flash it with Odin.
http://sourceforge.net/projects/teamacid/files/fb/roms/custom_kc1_cwm/csc.tar.md5
You might need to re-convert to ext4 afterward.
EDIT
It goes on the CSC section by the way.
Can't Odin without a PC.lol

I should've read the whole post. It appears that he's on gingerbread though, so the modified recovery file won't work. He'll have to wait till he gets on a pc. :/
What FBi said. Ughhh if only the cwm didnt get erased. Do you know the cause of this problem or is it just random...?
P.S. Currently running stock KF2 deodex. Rooted. :/. Ahaha. I was on kh2 but somehow it went back to kf2..

Only way it could've gone back to KF2 would be that you flashed it. The thing is that a lot of people reported having more trouble with the earlier GB builds, I'd stick with anything past KG6, so KG6, KH1 OR KH2 for now since that'll get rid of a lot of your problems.
If you do wanna stick with KF2, you'll have to flash the CSC file from KC1 through Odin, then do a factory reset. That should fix the disappearing apps problem. (Raver figured that one out).
u can factory reset from the phone if you can get into blue recovery also do factory reset and wipe cache then do it again from in the phone itself...
that should fix it..
@fbi. The thing is. I was running kh2 then after the 3days, it suddenly changed back to kf2?. idontevenknowhow. I did not flash anything or even touch my phone at all during the 3 days... And i cant get in blue recovery. Even with quickboot. . gotta wait till i can get to a pc.

Hey folks,
Thanks for all your help and info on here (my first post). My SR has been freezing / rebooting unpredictably for over a week now despite all my efforts. Here's what I've done, then what I've tried to do to fix it! If you have any ideas on what's wrong I would love your help:
From rogers stock originally:
- rooted
- cwm
- flashed many different roms: cm7.2, cyanotouchwiz, alien, skyICS, and likely some others
- flashed a few 727 compatible radios: kj2, and now ucla2
and obv installed many different launchers, lba privacy, setCPU, use llama profiles regularly...
What i've done to fix it?
- Now running as stock as I can make it, formatted everything (internal usb included), used odin to restore recovery and phone back to factory. I haven't even downloaded the apps I prefer, just to make sure it isn't some rogue app causing all the hassle.
STILL, without obvious pattern, randomly freezes and reboots, or doesn't wake when sleeping (and I have to force a reboot). This happens at least a few times every day. At peak it was at least every hour, but since the cleanup, it has calmed down to only a few times a day...
It's driving me crazy!
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance
flash cwm, flash darkside, then flssh darkside again. Odin back stock. That should fix it

^^^^^^ This... That's a lot of different ROMS you've flashed. Darkside should clean and sort things out for ya.

You should try the kernel cleaner as well

I'm using Tsugi 1-4 ROM and after a few weeks the top status bar on the phone is gone and the baseband becomes unknown.
The only way to fix this is to do a full Nandroid restore.
Anyone else having this issue with other ROM's?
try removing battery and sum and sdcard let sit for about a minute and then put it back together.

Seems to do it after the phone reboots.
Put on Oyasumi 0.1 Kernel and after rebooting many times it seems to have fixed the baseband issues.
How did you lose your baseband? Where's the last place you put it? (Joking, of course)

I have been running EOS4 on my TF101 for a while, and I decided to try the Kat kernal to see if it can improve performance. I flashed it through CWM right after I did a Nandroid backup. Now all of a sudden my battery won't charge. If the device is plugged in, the upper right indicator shows charging, but the lock screen and battery section of the settings page show not charging. And if I have the unit plugged in and running, it will lose charge. If I plug it in and shut it down, it will pick up maybe 30% overnight. I also tried a recovery through Nandroid backup, but it left the kernel and my problem stayed. I assume Nandroid backup doesn't effect the kernel. For the record, the kernel I used was Tim_KatKernel_103_JB4.2_Lidpatch. I have the most recent EOS4. I believe it's 114. Any help would be appreciated.
I can't believe there is not a single response to this issue. That does lead me to believe that this is not a common problem with the Kat kernel, and just maybe it's a coincidence that this occurred when I updated the kernel. Maybe I'm just having issues with the 5/15v charger. I have one on order and we'll see if that fixes it. I'm also curious if Nandroid backup is supposed to back up the kernel.

I believe the newer versions of cwm backup the custom kernel in the nandroid.
