Had this or a similar issue the other day. Pretty sure all I did was went in and clear app cache/data.

Is it this problem http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1562081 ?
Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk 2

No its not that issue.
I did clear cache and data however it still didnt help.
I cannot update or download any app right now. I have removed the updates for the play store and downloaded an apk fil and it still didnt work.

bump please help!! i have like six apps that need updating

i just got the same error too when i was trying to download Fieldrunners HD.

Did you all change your dpi? When you change your screen size, it messes up

nope

i think...this is an old error to do with the servers and not the app itself...first time this happened was when the Android market went green and curvey and stuff...this is old and might clear itself up (soon) but as the newest update could have different error codes then it could be anything.

are you rooted? because adb push might have something to do with it if google play isnt a system app then it cant put things onto the system. try to make google play a system app (put it into the stock rom(if you have stock)) get an app called system cleanup. (im sure theres more) goto google play and put it into the system. because...how can you uninstall it(unless u uninstall updates
Sent From The Phone Of Gamers

fixed this error multiple times by.....
go into system settings/applications/all- find google play store- click-clear data.
press back button-click google services framework-clear data.
reboot into recovery using CWM. clear cache. then whipe dalvik.
reboot phone...go into play store and download whatever you want!

adb push google play to /system (youtube should have a tutorial) because if you dont have it on system it cant download things. google play requires root (kinda) and in order to gain this root of the phone it must be in the system already so it can install/download apps automaticly.

Solution Error 492 Google Play.
Saludos.

[APP] AIDE - Android Java IDE

Hi guys. I found an amazing app on Google PLAY this morning. You can create Android apps on your phone.
This is worth to check out!

Quite interesting. This may be the first step towards making Android an OS fit for productive uses. Of course it's unusable for our Play, but what about a Transformer tab or other dock-enabled devices?
I have it on my Tablet S. It's really cool, but doesn't seem to support referenced project, so my libGdx project doesn't exactly work >_<. Still really useful though!

Get Back button from ogapps in Play Store. Since I don't like physical buttons, the home button was annoying me. Back button lets u choose which button u want to permanently display anywhere as it's a floating button. So I've put the home button at the lowest right corner possible in the lowest size and margin. Does not affect my usage at all and very practical.
U can also try Simple Controls if u want all on screen buttons.

Yeah I installed back button, as you, till yesterday [emoji4] .
Only thing that bothers me is that the home button (or the the buttons : home, recent app, back) are always hiding some part of my screen, for example when I use the keyboard.[emoji16]
It would have been perfect if I could place them at the same place of other Android devices : at the extreme bottom, below the dock...

Do you have root? If so just install gravitybox and enable navigation bar.
Another easy solution is to use swipe navigation from play store, it doesn't add any button but allows you to use a simple swipe to emule the home - back- recent button

First of all you have to install xposed framework, it isn't an app which you can find on play store, read carefully this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3113463 . Than you can download gravitybox, enable the navigation bar and also be able to tweak a lot of things like size, color, actions etc. Note that the soft keys will cover the close all button in recents (in portrait) , some parts of the camera, and cause s-voice settings to force close. But luckily there is a workaround also for this, you can download "hideable nav bar" from xposed and with a simple tap you will be able to hide the nav bar when you want.
There is also another way to do it, it's simpler but you won't have the possibility to hide the nav bar and you won't have configurable options.
Just go to system/ (with es file explorer for example) and add this line to build.prop file:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
Save and reboot and magically your nav bar will appear
Then, just to complete the opera, there is also a way to disable the capacity Samsung buttons, I'll explain how to do it if you want.
Let me know if one of these solutions work fine for you

Hi,
I read carefully ask you wrote, thanks.
First of all I need to tell you that I have a Samsung tab s2 but the forum is not very active and this is why I also posted my answer here[emoji87] [emoji6] .
Anyway I discovered the possibilities of xposed, Odin (this is my first Samsung device! ) very nice! [emoji4]
But I couldn't flash the "good version of xposed..."
This is all I did :
I was rooted and with 5.02, I flashed last Canadian ota 5.11 via Odin (no ota for the moment for France..), installed last twrp for 5.11, flashed the BigBot96 custom Rom 5.11 (deodexed) + its kernel, downloaded and tried to flash in recovery the file : xposed v71 sdk 21 arm arter 97-v6 exynos.zip...
The error is:
"Wrong sdk version, 22 expected 21-21
Please download the correct package for your platform/Rom
E: error executing updater binary in zip sdcard/download.....
Same with the new v75 versions[emoji22]

Without root there's the Simple Control app, but you need a third party home launcher like Nova so that you can manipulate the home dock icons.

if you don't want to press the physical home button you can you use "easyHome Samsung" app from the play store. Simply touch the home button.... it uses the finger print sensor.

Update 15/12/2015
I can't delete some apps like SkyTone and HuaweiPay and I am on P8 Max Gold DAV-703L and latest update is B028.
Forgot to mention, I'm not on root and don't plan too.
Only with root you can delete/freeze Apps!
Only with root
Enviado desde mi HUAWEI P8max mediante Tapatalk
Ah ok, that's it. What more benefits has rooting besides deleting apps?
if you do not have root (like me, on 703L), use debloater to freeze apps...
I freeze some app's, I look for them in Google, and it seems that can be deleted.
I will make the proof for some days, and if I don't have problems I will deleted it.
I edited the main post with them.
If any one have information about this, are welcome.

Many app's work better with root, or make more things.
You can access to the system archives and make modifications, like delete Chinese yellow pages form the dialer.

Ah yes, one thing, what about Phone Manager? Or in your language: gestión teléfono
That damn app is responsible for not notififying anything like whatsapp and Type Mall.
Can the app Email from Huawei also be removed too?

I was aware of that. Phone Manager closes apps when the dotcover is closed, or locked, or sleepmode. My P8max is in Dutch.
But it is not very nice app, Phone Manager, because it blocks notifications.
Yesterday I freezed, and the last night my phone don't take charge.
I don't know if is for Phone Manager, or is a mistake when I plugged the charger.
About the notifications, I don't have any problem before freeze phone manager.
EDIT
today the charge it's done correctly.

Random High Lag on UI?

Today I woke up and started an app that only use an API to remote control Media Player Classic on my pc and then I realize that the phone was under heavy lag.
Not even with the app closed. I restarted the phone and the lag was gone, used the app again and no lag. I don't know what caused it but I had nothing running but managed to record the screen.
