Internet browser defaults to m.yahoo.com - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

I changed the home page of the browser to google, but every time I open the browser it defaults to m.yahoo.com. If I tap the three dots and tap home it goes to google. Why would the browser open to some other page instead of the home page? Is this something that AT&T did to the ROM?

Strange, I'm pretty sure that every time I've opened the Browser, it reverted to the last page I was looking at. I hit Home for what must have been the first time ever, as it was the first time I had ever seen the AT&T/Yahoo page. Changed the home page to Google in Settings. Hit Home, and it went to Google. Swiped the browser away in Recent Apps to kill it. Then opened the browser again, and it opened to the Yahoo page, but that only happened once. Did the same thing several more times, and it opened Google after that.

I killed the yahoo tab, closed the browser, re-opened it, and the yahoo page was gone.
I had killed it before and even rebooted and it came back. Weird. It's gone for now.

Just another thing AT&T is trying to control. It's all about money. Yahoo probably pays them to force that page on startup even after it's changed.
Whatever happened to Android be open-sourced and allowing for user freedom?

Chrome web browser problems

I have a brand new HTC One X on att, and I have been using chrome for awhile now and all of a sudden it stops cooperating. Specifically when you try to load a web page it shows that it is loading, but never actually shows the web page and you can keep clicking refresh and it does the same thing. Also at the same time if you click the button to view open tabs the top of the screen changes, but the rest stays white and you cant see the open tabs. I have uninstalled the app a few times and re-installed and the problems persist so I am stuck using the stock web browser which isn't as bad as chrome but does have some annoying features. Has anyone else experienced this problem with chrome?

It's not a phone specific issue, I've run in to that before too. Sometimes clearing the apps data and cache in 'Android Settings>Apps.'

[Q] Google Chrome keeps refreshing

Say I have my Google Chrome browser open on a webpage that I am reading and I am trying to copy and paste things onto another app, so I am switching back and forth between the app and Google Chrome... The problem is that every time I switch back to Chrome the page refreshes and brings me to the top of the page every time so I get lost from the line I am trying to copy and paste from. Google Chrome used to just switch back to the page and not refresh anything and it would leave me off exactly where I was at on the page. Has anybody else had this problem or know what I'm talking about? Is there a certain setting or something that will make the page stop reloading everytime I switch back? It also happens everytime i switch between tabs too. Please help! Thanks in advance

Delete Bing from Chrome???

Hello, yesterday I have upgrade to the new cos12.1
After install when i started chrome it use automatically Bing Search, but search option says google! I can't change that, nothing happens.
I tested delete the browser data but nothing changed.
Pls help
In Chrome, go to settings, Home Page, set to the page you want (or turn it off).

Not saving google settings in Samsung's browser.

I've been experiencing an issue since the Pie update. My home page is google.com. I scroll down to the settings at the bottom (I'm signed out) and under search history, I check off "Do not save searches". This randomly changes itself back to the default settings. Nothing seems to trigger it. Sometimes it will be the next time I open the browser, sometimes it will be after a few uses. Sometimes it will even show recent searches, and I go back to the settings and "Do not save searches" is STILL checked off. Most times it's checked "Save searches" though.
I've tried logging into my google account, and doing it that way. Recent search history is paused, but I still experience the issue where when I click the search bar, it shows my recent searches. This isn't 100% of the time, but at least 50% of the time anyway. It's annoying. I've already searched that stuff, I don't need to search it again. I've cleared the cache for the app, the data, etc. Nothing seems to be permanently make these settings stick. Anyone else experiencing this? I swear I had this problem in the past, and there was a fix for it, but everything I've come up with so far tells me to either log into my google account and freeze search history, or just disable it using the method I'm using. If anyone can steer me in the right direction, it would be appreciated.
Thanks
