Stock web browser glitches

Is it just me or do guys notice a pretty bad glitch when scrolling down web pages on the default browser? Just wondering if their is a way to fix that problem other then to use another browser like opera. Reason I ask is because I only use the default browser to pay online bills and that glitch while scrolling it's really annoying. Don't think it'll make a difference but I'm using infused 1.5.3
thanks.

IV had a few loading issues glitchy/laggy. But It may of been a network issue while loading. I use dolphin browser HD now seen less issues using it.

With the dolphin web browser can it give you the option to respond to web forums that aren't compatible with tapatalk I noticed opera mobile or mini can't do that.

Testing from dolphin browser oh I guess it works nice guess this will be my default browser d from now on
If its the "checkering" you are talking about... All you have to do is let the page load all the way. This issue has been discussed already. The other browsers might do it less, but I like the stock one better.
My bad-ass Infuse
There is a modified stock browser that you can use. And see if it fixes ur problem.

Here you go. It's slappyjoker's post. Download it, backup the original (I just rename it to Browser.apk.stock) and drop in the modified browser and you're set. Use root explorer to do all of these steps of course.

I personally don't use it much because I have opera as my default for its other capabilities. But there is quite a difference in the modified browser. Feel free to test it out, you can always revert back to stock.

Holy **** that hacked browser made a huge difference in performance. It didn't fix the checker problem but the performance pretty much trumps that issue for me.
Thanks a bunch for the heads up on that browser.

Gingerbread browser

Just wanted to point out how terrible it is. Had this phone for a few days now. . .
No home page option. Must go to windows and click the page.
No mobile view on and off option. So if a site doesn't have a mobile alternative we can't view the original. Or if we like the regular site more. Out of luck? Why would they scrap that option? Is there a way around this?

That's odd, I love Opera.
Actually, I hated it at first. But I have Opera Mini now and love it. I think it's the zooming.
Using dolphin for now. Just seems lame. The new browser is pretty disappointing.

I use opera mobile. Has hardware acceleration making it very smooth. Plus you can enable Turbo which speeds up webpage loading if you are on edge.

A response from the devs of Dolphin HD.
http://www.androidcentral.com/dolphin-browser-responds-allegations-data-mining
With roughly 300 Webzines supported at the moment, it was necessary for the client to check the current user URL against a database housing these 300 Webzine columns...None of these URLs have ever been stored by Dolphin, instead being used to cross-index if a Webzine for the current site exists. If it does, the current site is immediately converted to Webzine format; if not, it remains the standard mobile site. Again, none of this process is stored on the backend of our servers and we are deeply sorry that this was not made clear to our users from the beginning.

I know lots of people prefer ICS+ but It just keep messing up my usage. Just somehow, I don't like the way how it worked on infuse. The side selection menu is all the point.
I would recommend Chrome beta or the system browser. They are both pretty good.
The system browser has the side selection which is very convenient, even it's only five fixed selections it's enough. I like the way how you can switch between tabs in the system browser easily.
On the other hand, I noticed a speed advantage in Chrome beta. The tab sync function is excellent if you use Chrome on your computer. Totally "Cloud". Also the magnifier function when you click on some close links save you some time double tap to zoom in.
The others are gingerbread era browser. Probably among those I would recommend Opera mobile.
Just some personal suggestion
Dolphin HD is stable and ez to use

I must agree. I was using ICS browser plus... but after using Chrome beta.. I must say.. it is probably the best browser I have used.. It's great how it links to your home computer's tabs if you're using Chrome at home too.

Bookmark syncing is a welcome addition as well. Chrome ftw
I used to dislike chrome for android... but it now works very well. I vote chrome, it makes the browsing super snappy compared to the stock one which takes forever to load xda and such.

Same. It's a lot faster than the default browser and it is still in Beta and only available for ics roms. One of the things I like about it is that it syncs all of my bookmarks from my pc, which is a really cool feature. My vote is for Chrome as well.

I vote for Ics browser+. It is light weight wrapper for stock browser. Doesnt consume much memory and it supports flash. Watched the live cricket match in flash by continous steaming for 4+ hrs without any fc. Dolphin crashed many times.
