sorry that is a sniffer that works on yr pc, thought you wanted to monitor, therefore an external box might be better. but if ubuntu can be installed on note, maybe there is ways.

Anyone know of any apparently on the play store that can serve the above mentioned purpose?

Wifi manager..
Works like a charm fr me.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using XDA
i don't think that's what i'm looking for, though :x
that app manages/shows the phone-AP connection but what i want is an app that shows (not necessary to manage) the connections linked up from others phones to mine via my phone's Hotspot.
And now it seems that the s3 has this integrated into its tethering hotspot menu...

I'm did install it again but after starting the service, my phone recognizes a facebook profile but wouldn't show up. I tried reinstalling like a hundred times but can't get it working. Need help

I want to use the 2.1b because the profile name shows there unlike 1.9.4.

I'd love too but I can't keep opening different profiles. I want to know which profile i'll sniff to and faceniff 2.1 has that. With names and pictures listed as profiles.

Thanks guys!
As of now "16 people starred this issue"
Haven't been using CM for awhile, but was thinking of going back. Can't do it w/o bluetooth. Starred it.
Starred this. I tried Owain's zip on EB 2.3.7, BT music worked but no phone. Hope CM figures this out.

Starred as well, nice to know I'm not the only one with this issue like some developers have made it seem.
Good luck to us all, lol.
Have the issue but I couldn't find where to "star"it. Does it have to be done from a desktop or can you star it from teh phonez?

Should work from your phone too. Just login with your Google credentials then the option to star/comment will appear.
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
Something better than just starring an issue is to provide 'logcat's to help troubleshoot exactly what the problem is. Google for details on how to do it. Ideally comparison between a working BT call and a non-working BT call.

The option to star is sortof hidden at the bottom of the page on my phone.
Also, if you are not getting voice confirmations when voice dialing via bluetooth then I think we should star this: http://code.google.com/p/cyanogenmod/issues/detail?can=1&start=0&num=100&q=voice%20confirmation&colspec=ID%20Type%20Status%20Version%20Model%20Network%20Owner%20Summary%20Stars%20Priority&groupby=&sort=&id=3636
I have starred this as well but am experiencing this with other roms as well... must be me.
The new bb causes all roms to have no bt except stock. You can down grade your bb and bt will be working again.
starred!

There were some apps written for the Thinkpad Tablet that used it's pen. Has anyone tried anyof those apps?
Briefly tested Quill. Seems to work fine (including pen pressure). Some options are greyed out in settings.

Is there an app for this? The peel app requires internet connectioncto get the control working.
I was wondering if this is possible, so I can troll other's tvs without wifi in them. Thanks!
Samsung Remote by Touch Squid is the best application I found out there. It works very well but the UI isn't that pretty.

Peel requires internet connection at setup only, to download ir pattern data, afterwards u can use it freely (except if u add another device or reset the setting) it worked even on my old sony crt tv.

Does anybody know if there's a remote app with which you can add widgets with shortcuts? For example you press the widget and the tv switches to source HDMI4?
Tethering Manager is a simple tethering application which turns your phone into personal Hotspot, no rooting required to install and use it, Tethering Manager works on many phones, but may it does not on some old phones specially HTC phones, I appreciate if you send me your feedback.
* Working on Jelly Bean.
Features:
Supported security types: Open, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK.
You can hide your network.
Gets connected devices by IP address, MAC address and name if resolved.
Comes with two themes, Light and Dark.
Google Play Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devexpert.tetheringmanager

A new 4x1 widget added in today's update....

Nice and simple widget as well!!
Thank you.
Was this pulled? I've been looking for tethering that would hide the SSID and this sounds like it might have fit the bill.
I'm hoping to tether my Nexus 7 to Galaxy Nexus on public transportation and at work where hotspots are banned. Not looking to use it for "real security".
Thank you, this app looks great but it is no longer available on Google Play :crying:
Anyone perhaps still have the APK they can post? I'd like to see if it will work when I try to hide SSID on my Galaxy Nexus.
Thanx
