Very nice。
Thanks mr.scrosler

Thank you for the great looking rom. It definitely is an upgrade compared to at&t build that comes with the phone.

Awesome, thanks! What Sense elements remain on this ROM? I'm guessing things like the notification tray are still HTC's version and not AOSP.

This is exciting stuff!
Can't wait till we can get 100% senseless ROMs up and running on our devices.
Thanks, OP, you rock.
Installing now. Will report back after I've had a chance to play with it
edit: two things i noticed right off the bat:
1) personalize option no longer works in the settings menu (no sense)
2) pattern unlock is no longer way above the bottom of the screen, making it much easier to unlock (i have smallish hands) It sits right above the bottom of the screen.
3) htc keyboard is gone, stock ICS keyboard only (which i prefer anyway)
4) Can't change lock screen (add/change what can be opened) unlock options
5) Can no longer change volume from lockscreen. I prefer this just in case someone tries to take my phone, they can't mute it without knowing the password
6) Can't take screen shots using power+volume/home
7) Apex is the stock launcher (my preference)
Edit
8) Please, please change this for your next release: remap the recents key to menu, maybe long press hold for search and add long press to home for recents.
9) Also, can you please add extended power menu options? Screenshot would also be nice.
This will definitely be the ROM I stick to for the foreseeable future. Just minor nuances which I'm sure will be ironed out/tweaked in the upcoming releases.
Again, thank you for an excellent ROM

Followed the steps and i'm stuck at the ICE animation screen. I was coming from the other CleanRom Beta, is that ok?
I cleared storage first, then followed the steps and cleared storage again.

I installed over top of CleanROM Standard no problem. How long has it sat at the boot animation?

Pfft, who needs the bootloader unlocked when you have this going on? This is all I every wanted tweaked on my phone, this is great!

Love where this is going. Keep it up. Will be sticking with stock for a while until things get more stable, but definitely keeping an eye on this. Thanks!

[ROM] ShadowSense 1.4 - SYSRW-OVERLAY|Undervolt|SILVER Icons|RebootMenu|eXpressoBar

Hi everyone!
Here we are again, I decided to release my personal ROM which is stock OTA froyo 2.2, modded to have everything i need in it.
Now also available on ROM Manager.
I'll start off with some screenshots:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I'll list what this ROM consists of.
Base
Stock HTC OTA froyo 2.2
-Perflock disabled
-EXT4 / TUN / FUSE added
-NoFullSleep Wifi module. No 802.11n because of power drains.
-Legacy A2SD+, modified / Dalvik
-CPUFreq interactive/powersave switching, thanks to FloHimself.
-Undervolt for about 75-100mV for extreme powersaving! Thanks to iscaela.
-System partition overlay on /data/sysrw . I will be switching to AUFS2 when
this comes available (or when S-OFF is released publically )
This should allow you to use MetaMorph.
I will probably also release a custom recovery which you can use to either commit or revert changes to the /system overlay, based on ClockWorkMod recovery.
-This has the vanilla Froyo lockscreen. No stupid HTC lockscreen.
-Trackball push to wakeup.
-Disabled vibration from shutdown
-Reboot menu by snq- (allow to reboot normally, to recovery, or bootloader)
-Fixed NewsReader.apk from FC'ing when fast scrolling in feeds with pictures.
Removed:
All social networking apps, teeter, stocks, etc.
Added:
-Titanium Backup
-ROM Manager
-Launcher2
-Extra ported HTC widgets by Paul from Modaco.
The theming was done by re-doing all the battery mods, and framework mods floating around, and REBUILDING the apk's from the ground up. I found that many of the mods consist of half-assed reworked apks. This is CLEAN.
Mind you, the images are done by the authors of these mods, I can't remember which they are, so I will give credit where due.
I will be updating to later OTA releases as they come by, and IF (or when) HTC's kernel source is released, I will do OCUV kernels and such.
On to the download:
ShadowSense 1.4
-If you got ShadowSense <1.4 and want to patch up:
Patch from any release to 1.3.
-If you want to use the POWER button to wake from unlock:
POWER unlock.
-If you want to use the MENU button to wake from unlock:
MENU unlock.
Changelog
[*]1.4 NewsReader fix
[*]1.3 Reboot menu
[*]1.2 Undervolting
[*]1.1 Initial (public) release
[*]1.0 Internal testing
---
DONATE here. This will support both my ROM development, as well as hacking efforts for S-OFF.
This looks very nice! Ill flash it tomorrow..... I dont suppose there's any chance of getting an option for the vanilla lockscreen? That will be the only thing ill miss from pinky desire?

rebuilding all apk in /system is not good idea. if some app have upgrade version in market, users can not upgrade it with this ROM.
and HTC offical widgets on internet can not be installed in this ROM.
so, some core app need be resign(framework-res.apk, DefaultContainerService.apk, Phone.apk, ... and so on), and other apps can not be resign(Rosie.apk, HTC_IME, ..., and so on).
but this is a Great ROM!
waiting for your the greatest S-OFF releaes,too !
Hi ieftm, my Desire have HBOOT 0.75 and Amoled .
I saw your HBOOT is 0.83 so it is SLCD
can your rom working on my device ???

I didn't rebuild all of the apk's. I did rebuild the APK's that were modded, like the framework apk's. Those will never be upgraded in the Market.

Not bad so far... Two things though, the time wont change even though it is correct in settings (Shows my time zone without daylight savings so is one hour behind). As well as this, is it possible to have it as both trackpad and power button to wake in the next update?

That's easy to do by modifying /system/usr/keylayout/bravo-keypad.kl.

That means that /system is writable because of an overlay filesystem. All your changes to /system will get written to /data/sysrw. Those will disappear when you wipe. An example would be, using metamorph to apply themes or such.
Also, 1.3 is up for the reboot menu, added to the normal powermenu in Sense.
Flashed 1.2 yesterday.
Looks great, but you know what....
I just keep pushing the powerbutton to unlock
Is there any way to get this back? Should i change something before flashing?
Nevermind...im gonna get used to using the OJ.

That's the bootlogo. It's the dexing process that probably takes a while. Wait for it. If it doesn't go away after a long time, please provide me with an 'adb logcat' output (put it on pastie.org for example).
Your rom sounds awesome! Only thing, can I flash a different circle battery mod?

Yep, when you reset you loose everything on the Storage. So back up your pics, music, etc... Whatever it is you have stored that you dont want to loose.
EDIT: Thought your name looked familiar. The good ole Evo 3D. I still love that phone!

HK Version flash Rom,Stuck the second screen。。。
were you able to edit out the "AT&T" logo in the framework? I noticed in the screenshots, you left in the annoying 4G logo (which i guess is fine assuming you are connected to 4G)
My Future hopes someone mods that framwork to show H when connected to HSPA+ and L when connected to LTE (right above the signal bars)
Does tethering work 'out of the box' on this ROM?
Can you include the extended power menu/3-dot removal/button remap mod to this ROM please?
Also, if you could it would be nice to have the LTE toggle that is included in the Rogers and Asia roms

Suggestion: Remove AT&T boot animation and the automatic attwifi network for the wifi settings.
I loaded it up, but the tethering does not work. It still says contact AT&T or 611 to enable tethering.
EDIT: I followed the instructions from another post to modify the telephony database and now tethering works. I'm not sure if that can be baked into the ROM though.
Well that was easy lol...

Yep, I cant stay on the same device forever
Right now I am rocking this N7, a Verizon Galaxy S3 and an AT&T One X. Those are my Dev toys now.
This is such a good looking, stable, and overall fast rom. I love it!
EDIT: Hold on Scott, you're from Fargo? Fargo, North Dakota?!
Thanks Scott. Love cleanrom on my hox.

Nice to see you here, Scott
Also, what is this exactly based on? I see JRO03 but version numbers have a letter at the end (I believe the latest from AOSP is JRO03L)
looks great, going to try now, haha took me forever to locate where to download, for some reason that giant download button didn't stand out to me

Umm.... Some of the older, first Gen devioces I never touched. I stayed on Windows Mobile for so long then finally moved ahead to Android right before the Evo 3D came out. So pretty much any worthwhile device since the Evo 3D I have made a ROM for....

Dont know what Tabui is and I cant see how its possible that Nova was lost when the stock launcher is not even installed when the ROM is installed if you select nova.
Really weird! You have have made something out of nothing! lol

[SOLVED]
Hey, I flashed the ROM and it booted up fine the first time. Then I went to recovery and flashed the Tablet UI add-on and cleared dalvik cache, but now it's stuck on the AOKP boot screen... And I don't know how to get to the recovery as Power + Volume up + Volume down doesn't work (when I choose "Recovery" it stays on the Google screen with the unlocked icon). The "Reboot Bootloader" and "Recovery" options are red while "Power Off" is in white and "Start" is in green. So is there any other way to boot into recovery? I am running TWRP 2.2 (latest).
Thanks!

Guys please don't flash the TabletUI in Post 3. Team mate wasn't aware it didn't work or AOKP (however expect to see it in our AOSP builds )
If you want tabletUI manually change build.prop to have ro.lcddensity=177-160 (stock is 213)

No need to worry about boot loaders, etc with this ROM! You will be able to freely use the Atrix Bootstrap app, BootMenu Manager, or Jims GB to ICS utility to FXZ back to GB 2.3.6 if you follow these instructions as this is just a system & data partition flash.
You must currently be on ICS to flash this!
** BootMenu Manager is not able to use this ROM as a second system. You can install this ROM with it and you can install it after the flash to manage your custom recovery **
1. Backup your data with a nandroid or TiBU at the least
2. Copy the ROM to your phone and reboot into custom recovery
3. WIPE DATA / FACTORY RESTORE
4. Flash the ROM, reboot and enjoy!

Mother of ROM ! Thanks man for this <3 downloading and trying now
Sweetness looks good.
Installed over your [ROM] Team Shogun | Based on ICS 67.21.125 | v1.2. Flashed from Bootmenu. Worked great.
It takes a while to boot. Under five minutes for me. Didn't factory reset first flash. I was probably impatient. Pulled battery, got into stock recovery, factory reset, reboot got in.
Didn't have data, but found wireless networks, and was slow as hell. Looks like it locked up, then rebooted.
Second boot into it, everythings working sweet. Data came up, camera working, wireless working, tethering working. very nice.
It is a little sluggish. Installed Spare Parts and cranked window and animations to fast. Picked up a little. Cranked window animation scale up to 1x. Picked up a little more.
Great job. I'm not a MIUI fan, never have been, but this is pretty damn good. I'd love to pull some **** outta of MIUI and add to ICS or JB.
Going back to your SwiftyTrix, I guess it is. Maybe one day I get MIUI'd.
EDIT :
Then again, after messing with it to get everything working to flash back, kinda digging it. Damn you !!!! May have to back it up first....
Once again, great job !
Everything works well except text to speech fails (Unfortunatly Google Text-to-speech Engine has stopped) when trying to use navigation or just change TTS settings. I tried to clear the app data for it to no avail sadly. Also I have Straight Talk for my provider and it shows Airvoice Wireless as the provider tag (I did delete the one AT&T APN and added one Straight Talk APN for data and one for MMS). Also the phone gets pretty warm and the battery drain is very rapid (15-25% per hour).
Other than that it is great!
Not going to lie, I am quite excited about this! I have been waiting for CM10 but MIUI has always had special place in my heart. Will probably follow dicksteele and use bootmenu to install. I will be going from SCv7 so we will see how it goes. Hopefully my slow internet will download the file tonight so I can install tonight and have the full day tomorrow running it! Thanks again!
edit: also the instructions at the top is a little confusing. Just the part where it says the bootmenu can't be used. So just to clarify we can use bootmenu to install?

Yes if you have it installed on your current ROM ou can use it to install. You can also reinstall it after the flash for custom recovery but I was not able to get it to work as a second system with my other ROM.
just installed this..and i have to say this is [email protected]#$%in believable mate!!!!..hats off to u!!!!..everything is built in..the one i liked most is that you can enable/disable root permission with one tap!!!!!..everything rocks..exception is battery though..mine went down 16% in past 47 min..also my phone heats up more than usual

Sounds good! Thanks for the reply. Can't wait to see what other improvements you have for next friday haha.
Installed it and its awesome !! But is it me or the phone gets hot for everyone ?? I'm thinking that the GPU is being used somewhere or may be OCed and thats why the phone gets hot and has battery draining fast.
Edit : battery is draining like crazy for now, !! 20% in 1 hour
Umm just one question.. OFFICIAL?? Or unofficial?
