I'm creating a New ROM called NexuDEFY. It's a CM7.1 based ROM, with AOSP feeling (I remove every componoments from cyanogenmod7.1, except Gapps)

-Stock Android Launcher (2D one because 3D one have blurry icons and looks ugly )

This ROM is very light, -because I removed few componoments from Cyanogenmod- and Stable.
To install:
1.You need to have CM7.1 installed

Gb. I flashed a Defy+ Gingerbread SBF and then, I installed Cm7.1 but this ROM is based on CM7.1 so you need to install CM7.1 before restore /system of my ROM
Are there any statusbar toggles? Does the launcher have slow fading when exiting app drawer to main screen (that's what all the gingerbread launchers in the market have -.-)
Yes, you can have status bar toogle but you have to go to CyanogenSettings to enable it.

Yes, Android supports many languages as German, French, English, Japanese, Spanish, Korean..
I removed Theme Manager because AOSP android doesn't support themes.

this rom is good. Only need more polishing & removing bloatwares. Anyway can u add latest gpu drivers to it so that rom become much smoother???

I m sorry buddy but dont have any link. CM9 uses new gpu drivers which makes phone really super smooth. There must be new updated gpu drivers related to GB also.

Benchmarks vary everytime, you can't get a steady amount, it's not 100% accurate.

cus i'm currently testing titanium kernel (new build not released to public ) and m on stock ddkp3 ! using a custom rom and testing a new kernel is a bad idea ! increases more bugs and is har to find weather its the kernel or the rom !

So yep it's probably the CM9 drivers.
And it should be smoother than the value pack itself without the modifications, compared to other stock rom's, i am not sure.

You mean you want to know how to resize it or where to find it in the ROM?
To resize it you need to edit the dimens.xml in res/values folder, "main_body_width" & "main_body_height" . Hope this helps

2 problems
I have 2 problems till now on this ROM:
- the signal on wifi and probably 3G is wicker than stock Rom
- synchronization doesn`t work on automatic (it is activated) I have to synchronize manually.

It works fine with me, actually very good. The modem in this firmware is same as stock leak.
Perhaps you could try another modem from your previous ROM that you know works well with your equipment. You can flash the modem.bin with Mobile Odin

I wouldn't recommend porting, just because of the amount of tweaks, there are alot of lose libs, files, etc all over the place because I "render" mods Alot of features wouldn't work. I will release it for the N1

It does if you use Xposed Modules, ROM comes with Xposed installer, which you need to run and also comes with Xblast module. With Xblast you can set transparency in Status bar, plus a whole host of other things. If you want a Paranoid feel, meaning setting DPI (etc) of individual apps I recommend downloading App Settings through Xposed Installer. Remember to tick modules to make them active and then Reboot.
Changes to System UI in some cases takes a reboot to see changes. Using App Settings you can also do a whole host more and relaunch apps if you press menu button while App info on screen.
I have been using Xposed for a long time now, it even works great on ICS Sense roms, and with other modules you can even have Halo style floating windows on sense roms.
The Rom is brilliant and very smooth. I wasn't able to install the Pie Settings ZIP, not sure why. Also when I try to install something from the Xposed Installer it wouldn't allow me.
