Just installing the APK didn't work for me. So, I made a flashable zip. Everything is working now. Even 'My words', which wasn't working in the Xperia S keyboards, is working with this one.
To get voice input to work, you'll need to install Google Voice Search.
I hope it will work for other too.

Edit:
Working on Feralabs rom,it takes like 5 min to boot, but at the end works perfectly,i just flashed the provided flashable.zip

(and whoever else is in the same situation?) CWM based please? in the meanwhile I'll lok for the way to do it myself, thanks in advance

doesn't work, it doesn't ever appear on the keyboard selection screen, I used root explorer to get into the system folders and everything is where expected, I installed Swype from the web with no problems, I rebooted twice, I guess won't work with this ROM, tks
I just tried to use it on a FXP-based ROM and it also doesn't working for me. While I flashed it succesfully on a stock-based ROM earlier this week. At the moment you can only use it on stockbased roms.
I tried to fix it. I noticed that there was a permission and a .jar missing in the zip-file. I copied those files manually to my x10. Result: keyboard appears in setting, but FC constantly. Very annoying
If I have some time left this weekend, I will look into it.
---
I tried something. It's still not working as it should. But it did appear on the keyboard selection screen. IT'S PROBABLY NOT WORKING ON FXP/CM7
But I'm posting it anyway, since it did work on CosmicUI v0.3.01.121 (a MIUI ROM based on FXP)
Sola Keyboard v2
Flash with CWM5
Bugs:
- Not staying as default keyboard after reboot
- Voice input gives FC

I loved this keyboard and been looking to get it on FXP CM7 for a while now. if there is anything i can do to help let me know
To be honest, I don't know why it did work on miui, but not on cm7 by fxp. Maybe one or more files was missing

5) go to the cynogen setting tweaks extras and select a theme
6) choose the theme that install there
Thats it....if the themes suitable it will work....reminder...dont forget to
backup first....i ended crashing many time trying so many themes that work...

Which ROM is that, can you please point me to the ROM's thread so I know for sure which one is that. I always get confused, especially since there are multiple CM ROMs
Also, some more detail would be nice, as in what firmware/baseband are you on and will this work on the latest, i.e. .54 baseband/.435 firmware.

I can not test this since I don't have 2.3 on my phone and I'm not willing to completely re-flash just to test out a theme...however, if you would like to test this theme out, you are more than welcome.
Install it with Xrecovery (make sure you create a backup before installing this theme....especially since I'm not able to test it first!!!)
This is only a theme, not a full rom, so all your data should stay intact after installing.
This theme should work, IN THEORY, but I can not make any guarantees, since I've never worked with 2.3 before.
I'm not responsible for anything this theme may do to your phone in any way....be warned, you are testing it at your own risk!!
If you are not running 2.3.2 update 13, please update it to update 13 to ensure the best compatibility.
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=KZIUAAEK
Tried reapplying this, reset CM tweaks to default, rebooted installed, rebooted sat on Cyanogen bootscreen, then blue lines that go round in a circle have stopped, and i can feel the phone vibrate slightly every so often....
Guessing its not working?

If it does work with anything besides MIUI, I'd imagine it'd only be AOSP roms, so no business sense. You can try though, drop it in system/app and set the permissions to match everything else. I don't even know if it works on CM7, will have to wait for someone to test.

i dont think this will work with sense because of the kernel. BTW the apk you posted worked for me on CM7. did they add anything new to it since may?
MIUI works on my Incredible Via running CyanogenMod. Works perfect too, best camera app I got. The Guy who gave me mine said run it in recovery, find the zip and install it. It will replace your stock camera from your rom.
I am running;
- 1.) MIUI Camera
- 2.) IncRom Camera
- 3.) LG Camera
All three work fine and perfect except the LG one is buggy for us incredible users. It needs an auto detect settings, put on the wrong one it malfunctions till you fix it right. I've never got the actual camera to work either.

if you are on sense then it would be a little bit difficult because the kernel controls the camera. so you would have to make a hybrid froyo / GB kernel to get froyo camera to work. if you are on ASOP its a little bit easier.

It looks very nice, I like the simplistic approach. Thanks for taking the time to work on this!
One thing I'd like to know about Bravia Engine: did you have to do anything to port it or did a ported version from another device work on the A2?

EDITED- BEST ROM EVER. The issues I had must have been something weird. Bad download, shady install... I don't know. What I do know is the second time I installed this ROM its working beautifully. Appologies to the Dev. You obviously took your time with this. Great work! This is the first ROM I've used where I actually like the stock launcher. This ROM is very battery friendly and everything I've tryed so far works as advertised. Including CWM on boot + GPS.

I think I like enough tor use. Couple things... Google play store keeps force closing. I deleted cache and data and I'm getting force closes still. I repaired permissions as well. CWM on boot doesn't appear to be working. Not sure why. Is the lockscreen supposed to have an almost double image of a lock and unlock? Seems like it shouldn't? Keyboard is throwing up weird images of keys and freezing spuratically. Sorry for my spelling.

Had to cancel download so I haven't been able to download and flash yet so I don't know about the lockscreen or keyboard. However, I know that the market/play store will FC if you flash /system without clearing data... to fix it just clear cache+data, uninstall updates, then leave it open for a minute or two to update.
How do you make roms? Do u use the android kitchen? Im interested in making (yet another) rom for the a2

Frequently Asked Questions
Q. What Does This MOD Do?
A. It will fix the Bluetooth bug ie. you don't need to reboot every time you want to turn on the Bluetooth. Though you still need to reboot once with Bluetooth On for this MOD to work. After rebooting with Bluetooth On, you can turn it off and on as many times you wish. But every time you reboot you have to turn it on and then reboot otherwise it won't work.
Q. On What ROM's Will This MOD Work?
A. This MOD will work for any Jelly Bean ROM for Galaxy SL.
Q. How To Revert Back If I Don't Like The MOD?
A. Well it's rare if you don't like this MOD. Anyways, as stated in OP, before trying this MOD take a Nandroid Backup or just backup the original Bluetooth.apk. If you didn't follow the instructions, you'll have to flash the ROM again or extract the Bluetooth.apk from your ROM and place it where it belongs.
Q. I Am Having "XYZ" Problem, How Do I Solve It?
A. Please see that you followed all the steps given in OP. Missing even a single step can cause problems. If you still cannot solve the problem by yourself or by reading the F.A.Q.'s, post your problem and many XDA members are here to help you.

^^ worked for me every time i tried to turn it on or off. I did try a few times for the last 30 minutes or so, and it always worked. 1st time took some time.
Did you copy to correct location and change permissions to RW-R--R-- ? I did just that and it does work for me.

Follow the process again and this time delete the .bak file or first delete the existing apk and then paste the modded apk. Dont forget to set permissions afterwards!
Working perfectly on Dhiru's CM10....!
Tried this bluetooth fix with Nameless Kernel and is working perfectly.
Only facing a weired issue, I am not seeing any Bluetooth Option in any file sharing option, only getting options like gmail, whatsapp, email and Facebook. But no bluetooth. But BT is working good. Switching ON/OFF and recieving files all good.
