It's only for aosp (cm and based roms).. Try to replace the file manually and let me know if it works

I would if i could find the bootanim... its not where it should be. I have searched for it and cant find it anywhere on the phone

Isn't it on system/media ? If not try with rom toolbox or you need to patch bootanimation bin.. Search for it on the forum or Google it

Is there a way to get this to work on a odexed ROM?

Works on 4.4.2 deodexed i9505. Also all crashes besides Smart Scroll have been fixed! Thank you. Sometimes Internet stopped and specific sites. Now fully working.

Then use a rootexplorer and push the file , and set the permission .

Yes zip installer not working with PhilZ and TWRP, but browser work without issues. Manual paste and set permission with root explorer.

There is an error in META-INF folder. I have uploaded a modification and now its works to flash it in cwm recovery or twrp

Update v2:
- bootanim
- downanim
- media (alarms, notifications, ringtones, ui)
Instalo to recovery
Download : MOD - DEODEX
Download : MOD - ODEX
use : wipe dalvik cache !!
Q: How do I install it?
A: Just download the zip for your ROM and flash it via recovery (make a nandroid backup first, better safe than sorry!).
Q: How do I go back to stock?
A: You either restore your previously backed up /system/ partition OR make a flashable zip out of your "stock"
*no ART support

Maybe we also need the odex files togheter with apks
