I recently cracked my screen, and have decided that I will probably be picking up the sgs3 when it comes out. I was wanting to get some input about who I could donate my Infuse to. I have enjoyed all the different roms and ports that our devs have put together here, but I don't have a huge amount of excess money to donate. This is the best that I can do.
Let me know if anyone knows a dev that would like a phone to use for development. I want to make sure that it is put to good use.

I could use an extra infuse to develop Revolution V4 on ICS but i am having issues due to lets say Cracked infuse But Bigfau is earning my nomination for this one

Bigfau has done a hell of a lot for the infuse and i don't think he has gotten enough credit for it like he deserves. I don't care if this pisses anyone off but he is the best dev we have had on the infuse hands down. He is extremely respectful to all of us little people and to me that shows something about who he is as a person. Give it to him, he deserves it. If you give it to anyone else, they need to turn around and send it to him.

Sorry guys! Haven't been keeping up as well as I would like. It sounds like it's pretty much unanimous that bigfau is the man. I will definitely be sending it to bigfau just as soon as I get a replacement. I suspect it will be early to mid-june. Thanks for all the input, and I will contact you about s/h bigjoe. Yeah the infuses xda section is falling apart to be honest. I think that the moderator needs to completely wipe the Infuses section except for ROMS, modems, and other development tools. We need a fresh start at development. Does anyone elese agree? Or am I just ranting?

The infuse is falling apart, our development is ruined. We do have a few great devs, but not enough that can truly make this a good phone. New ports are coming everyday, but seems like people running the aosp roms (not me lol) seem to just want updates and updates only. Not to go hating on people, but please, please be nice and lets make this change!
It would be nice but I don't really see anything changing, too many new and better phones, it just seems the devs get bored quick and jump to the next best thing. Can't really blame them but it would be nice if the infuse could spake some more interest.

Man I just spent 1hr finding out how to port. I give it to the Devs boy its time consuming.
Which I had the time to cook in the kitchen.

Dude you should do it. Maybe you could just release it every 2 weeks or so and then if anyone gives you any bull or something then just ignore them. I Understand how jordan got mad and there were people giving him crap, but shutting it down is like killing off a lot of people who loved it lol (I never tried it). I think there should be a main post stickied saying read this, and saying how if there is any bull, it will not be tolerated and you will be ignored. Someone should seriously do that haha!
There needs to be a weekly or even monthly port and no comments. If you have questions GO TO THE Q AND A SECTION! That way we can still get our sweet sweet rom and the douche bags can go flame else where.

I think more of us would step in to help after seeing what happened last time. That being said, the age for getting smartphones is getting lower and lower. There are a lot of little ****s on xda now, so the devs have to have a bit thicker skin IMO.

I have had my Skyrocket for a week now. I use to have a Captivate. The Dev's and the community were fantastic. Here are my first impressions of the Dev's and community for the Skyrocket. Are you kidding me?! Really?! This is what I should expect?! Seriously, In the last week I have seen the Dev's, themers, and modders take a leaked ICS rom and turn into rooted, debloated, several roms, kernals, themes, tweaks and mods and more coming to fast to keep up with. I have to say, even looking in the T989 forum. so many less apps, and roms, and tips, and tweaks and other usefull stuff, and we basically have the same phone. I LOVE the skyrocket community.

I've been with the Skyrocket community here on XDA since right after the phone came out, and it took a long time to get where we are today. Those early days were slow with not much available, but things have really exploded recently, in awesome ways.
The Skyrocket community is one of the best you'll find anywhere on XDA. We have a couple of dedicated trolls, but they're actually just good people having fun (I'm looking at you nrm!!!). We're a good bunch. Again, welcome!

As a beginner dev i had no clue what i was getting into but through all the help of the senior devs i have come along way, so far the rom i released has gotten high praises and that means a lot to me. As a former infuse owner and hopeful future developer I say thanks to you and all devs I ended up getting a diff phone because I have Tmobile and infuse cant get 4g on this network but good to know the senior devs will help along been browsing xda for a couple years but just registered because too many people are ungrateful but as soon as I can get another computer ill get on developing

Hey guys and gals! I recently purchased a Samsung galaxy s blaze and I came here to check out the ROMS and such.. but I noticed that there isn't one that is working without bugs and all. Is there a reason? Is there not enough devs here with the time or capability? I could easily help you guys out and all but I have no idea on development. Development has been slow until recently. To date erikmm dark Knight build 4 is running smooth and without issue that I'm aware of. Also recently Erik also has cm7 running but the cam is not working. He has been working hard to get the blaze working better.
I agree the phone has huge potential. Its quick and fast

I'm am down for this if he is as good as you say. I am willing to open up a paypal account and kick start the donation with 10-20 dollars but first I need to confirm we'll have enough donators. We will likely need more than the last time because finding a blaze for $250 is not easy.

The other night I saw HTCClay pop up in the Blaze board. I remember using his ROM's years ago on the G1. The stuff he did back then was great on that phone. Between CM and Clay's ROM's, the G1 had life. I am not sure what he is doing or not doing but he has the Blaze also. I sent a message to him the other day to see if he is planning to cook something up for the Blaze.
Erik has accomplished a ton in the past few weeks as a one man show developing and releasing ROMs. Personally I have learned a lot working with him testing and checking the ROMs.
I personally think it would be great if we could get other dev's involved to help the cause.

I'm down with helping out guys. Erik is my team mate and a good friend and I'm always there for him. Even on this phone, i have helped him out with flashing scripts and such. My lightning zap tweaks, gremlin remover for sgs4g, and gummy mutt port for that same device have a well known reputation of their own. Not to mention the work i have done on a few HTC devices, LG nitro, captivate, and Sony s tab with other devs. If you guys could get me a phone, team kick ass would be complete and i think together Erik and i would make this phone phenomenal like we did with the sgs4g...

We're looking to expand the devices teamacid roms can be ported to.
I'm getting a couple different devices (sk4g and fascinate, to add to my sgs4g and at&t note), and other teamacid members also have different devices (t989, and some htc phones).

You boys using the tapatalk app need to figure out how to edit quotes better. Anoymonos it took me about six readings to grasp you failed at quoting. And it made it look like your email was the same as lonoguge's. /shrug

Just fixed my quotations lol I never used to have this problem before. I thinks its a problem from a recent app update.

Anything i can do for teamacid and the sgs4g community i will do im very excited about having the s3 and have already tweaked this baby out, i will be doing a lot of releases here soon including sgs4g releases, the sgs4g community will always be where my heart is NO HOMO haha
