Hi there,
there are a lot of SMS widgets in the Play Store but all of them seem to be much more complicated than what I want: I need a widget the only displays a preview of the text of a new message and only when there are new messages. I want no buttons to reply, not a list of threads, anything. Just the text. Does anyone know a widget like that? Preferably one where the look can be adjusted? And preferably free of course ;-)

I am using Folder Organizer to implement my own icons for apps. Though, I would like to see a red circle showing the number of missed messages over my Gmail, Text, and Gtalk icons. I have seen this in many pictures posted by other users, so I know it is possible.
How do I do this?
Is it possible with an un-rooted phone?

Hi all
I'm looking for a People widget with the same functionality as the attached screenshot that I can use with LauncherPro, preferable scrollable. The attached comes from Sense and has the handy "most recent event" notification, plus a number number bubble for SMS. The People widgets that come with LauncherPro are basically just pictures you can click to get to a preselected contact method. I've tried a few from the Market with no luck.
Any ideas?
I've been searching high and low, on the googles and on the forums for a widget like the HTC Message Widget/ Pure Messenger Widget but one that will show the last message in the conversation between myself and any other contact. Instead of just showing me the last message that each contact has sent to me.
Does anyone know of one? I can't believe that there are no widgets that can accomplish this out there somewhere.
I'm still looking, if anyone has any info on this I would greatly appreciate it!

Hello does anyone know if there's an app that combines advanced clock widget and simple calendar? Basically I want just the normal digital clock look, black semi transparent line with the time, but I also want there to be a section where it lists events from my calendar. Anyone know anything like this? I'm not looking for anything that looks large and sense-ish. Thanks!
Hi all. I have been looking for a very simple and not too large SMS Widget that I could place on WidgetLocker. Since I could not find any that would fit my needs (especially only being 4x1 max), I created one on my own.
I would like you to install this widget if you were looking for the same thing and kindly ask you to give me some feedback, what you would expect, or what could be improved.
Currently, the widget displays all SMS that it finds. This is planned to be only unread SMS. But I thought for testing purpose it's easier like this. The idea is to fully hide the widget once no unread sms are here (just looks better in WidgetLocker).
Features (v0.1.0):
automatic monitoring of SMS
hide the widget, if there are no sms.
Browse all sms
Automatically scroll Names.
Will display the currently displayed sms throughout all widgets (if you browse, all the widgets show the same sms).
