Hey Guys
SmartBeat is created by memnoc, biCh0n, XxXPachaXxX and me. The name is a combination of BeatMod and Smartdroid and should show the cooperation of both teams. This rom is ported from rcmix sensation leak with android 4.0.3 and sense 3.6. it is a work in progress with still some bugs but we do the best to get it done soon. Bichon and memnoc did mostly resizing, pacha provided us a nice kernel and i worked on bugfixing. It was a long and hard way to figure out how icssense act so it wouldnt hurt if the thread get some touches up here and there too. If you want to use this as base just pm me and i am sure you will get permission

Installed 3.0 sound works but I am not able to set up Wifi. No option to add manually just sits on turning on wifi. On the wifi menu only advanced is highlighted. Any ideas?

Did just that, booted and runs smooth. Go to open stock browser - seconds in and get a reboot. Tried other apps - market, text, phone/calls, weather all is fine. Open browser and again seconds in reboot. Followed instructions above to the t, booted let it settle in ran apps smooth. Tried browser and bam - reboot. Installed 3rd party web browser and runs fine, but stock gives a reboot no matter what.
Is it just me? Is there something I can try?
Also no WiFi btw.

intresting that there is no wifi because it works perfectly on the desire hd. thx for testing i will make a patch file soon.

for inspire users. use the 2.1 verison with lord kernel you will have sound + wifi working ! working on a solution right now

It's a Sense 3.6 Keyboard that has been themed to look exactly like the Sense 4.0 Keyboard.

If you do a stock looking version with all the tweaks this is the perfect rom!!

ALL Credits to TRipNRaVaR, mdeejay, Baadnewz and Shnizlon for the bases and fixes etc
This is more of a "fork" of the work done by the three above, just with my optimizations/tweaks/etc
It is a fork because I would like to have helped more with fixes by have been very busy over the past month or so

In a sense yes. The sound is beats but the EQ and no effects don't work, it sounds like beats whichever you pick.
Though you can use poweramp to customize the sound to your liking

Oh something I should probably mention is that even if coming from another sense 4 ROM you WILL need to superwipe because of the vast amount of xml changes I have made and these changes are only applied on first boot then copied over to a database in /data
So if you don't superwipe, it will load values already in /data and you won't get the full benifit of the tweaks

HOW TO FLASH EVERY ROM, INCLUDED THIS ONE
4ext touch/classic recovery is HIGHLY recommended
-put the zip in your sd card
-reboot into recovery
-run a format system, format data, format cache (*you can use "wipe'em all" features aka "format all partitions (except sd card)" which is the same but faster)
-run a wipe data factory reset (to be sure your partitions are properly mounted for the flash)
-flash the rom
-reboot
This is the best you can do, don't let a flashable zip do this work for you, your hands and your mind are the most powerful tool you own

Standards touch calibration values are derived from empirical measurements to fit standars; Calibration values for pyramid are derived from personal work on physical measurements with a raw width field of 1 unit corresponding physically to 17mm of linear size.
To grant a more userfriendly touch experiance i changed the normal pressure scale values. The purpose is to generate a valid touch signal also on a light touch. The result is the perception of a lighter and soft touch in the general phone use.

People, this kernel is straight from Infinity, so if the camera didnt work for you then, it wont work for you now. The kernels source hasnt been released by Virtuous so there is no way of fixing it for Telus/Inspire users until the team themselves release it.

I'm looking for this ROM for longtime...Waiting it....................
