[Q] Flytouch II change browser to save to /local/Download - General Questions and Answers

For my old flytouch II. When I put an SD card in slot 2, and try to tell dolphin HD to save to /mnt/sdcard2 it allows me to save the setting, but downloads will not start "not enough space".
I tried to do /local/Download as the save location and it tells me "An SD card is required to download" if I try to download anything
I've verified that /local/Download is a correct folder and if I browse to that location using root explorer it takes me to the download folder I've created on my internal storage just fine.
If I put an SD Card into the 1st sd card slot, the file downloads just fine and even downloads to the correct area of the local folder, /local/Download but I have to have an SD Card in the tablet's #1 SD card slot for it to even start the download.
The problem with this, I keep the SD card slot in #2 because if you restart with a card in #1 then it tries to boot off the sd card, so keeping the card in #2 allows me to not have to worry about removing the card during every restart of the device.
I would like to not have to have an SD card in at all.

TL;DR - Flytouch 2 gives error "An SD card is required to download" even when dolphin browser is set to save to /local/Download unless I have an SD card in.
Files save to /local/Download just fine if I have an SD card in slot 1, not slot 2.

Can't Install Healthy .ZIP file from SD Card

Long Version:
----------------------------------
Hello. I was preparing for a full wipe of my phone (Galaxy S3 i9300) for a clean flash for my next ROM. So I did was I got a SD Card Reader and plugged my SD Card in and put it in a laptop to copy the files, while suddenly, my SD Card got corrupted. I tried to format the SD Card with the same SD Card Reader (not knowing the Card Reader was faulty) but it made things worse. So, I took a different Card Reader, and formatted the SD Card and now all seems well. Until, when I put the .ZIP file in the SD Card, put the SD Card on my phone, and install .ZIP from SD Card on my phone using TWRP (2.8.6.1), it displays the error "E: Zip file is corrupt!" So naturally, I restarted the phone into recovery, formatted the SD Card using TWRP, changed the file system to FAT (vfat) and it displays the error "E: Unknown MTP message type: 1", then I tried repairing the file system, and it was successful. So I did was put the .ZIP in the SD Card again and try it again, with no luck.
I have already used all of these to format the SD Card and the phone still thinks the .ZIP file from the SD Card is corrupted:
Diskpart
Chkdsk
EaseUs Master Partition
Windows Format
SD Formatter (v4.0)
---------------------------------------
TL;DR
Phone got fully wiped, SD Card got corrupted while transfering files because of faulty Card Reader, SD Card got formatted a lot of times, Finally got the SD Card running, but now, if I put it inside the phone, it thinks the .ZIP File from the SD Card is corrupted.
What should I do?
p.s. (I already downloaded the same .ZIP file multiple times to make sure it was healthy, and it is)

Yes, the .zip file does work. I can open it on my pc
Sadly, I can't get a new SD Card. Mainly because I need this SD Card because it is a 32GB SDHC Class 10 SanDisk SD Card, and it's not cheap to get a new replacement (of the same SD Card).
I would like to know how to fix this corrupted SD Card. Because everytime I plug it into my PC (and use Windows Check Drive for Errors, and Chkdsk) and find there's no errors. And then when I finished placing the files into the SD Card, when I plug it the next time, everything got corrupted, but Windows still does not detect any errors on the drive..... wut

Copy paste via USB cable? The ZIP might be corrupted in a way that the script is broken or somehing. Try copypasting the file via USB and if that doesn't work download a different ZIP.

Default Storage Locataion

In storage settings, there is a "Default location" setting of either internal or SD card. What happens if I set it to SD card? Will all files be moved onto the SD card and use the internal flash as the secondary storage? Or will only NEW files be placed on the SD? I just installed a new 128GB mSD card but like to know how the phone will behave before switching to mSD card as default. I assume the internal storage will always be faster than SD so I may not want everything go into SD.

It doesn't move everything to your SD card only new thing you install.
I have found that with a big SD card the phone takes a while to sort it's self out when you start it up.
Other than that it's no different
Code:
pm get-install-location
Results :
0 - auto
1 - internal
2 - external
Code:
pm set-install-location [I]{0 or 1 or 2}[/I]
For this you must have root
I don't have the option to select the MicroSD, it's already formatted inside the phone but it says I already created a user...

HTC 10's - SD Card (Sandisk 200 GB) with Adoptable Storage Corrupted - Help Need

Hi ! I am new to XDA...
My HTC 10's - SD Card (Sandisk 200 GB) with Adoptable Storage is Corrupted - Help Need...
As i was browsing my phone, one fine day, I got a prompt on HTC 10, that my SD card was unmounted, it instructed me to remove and re-insert my SD card back again...I did as per the instruction, but my HTC 10 fail to recognize my SD card...
After several attempts (removing and putting back the SD Card) the same issue persisted...
So what i did was, I removed & re-installed the SD card when i was in the Settings Menu>Storage..As i was inserting the card it Phone tries to read and it displays SD Card is Corrupted...
Since my SD card is configured as Adoptable Storage (SD Card as Internal Storage) some of my apps are missing...also my photos, video and other files are also missing...
Please help me, how to go about recovering my SD card...the right way..
I have a PC with windows Vista,so i tried to connect the SD card with an SDHC Adapter to my PC via the On Board Card Reader..It did not recognize... I went in to My Computer>Right Click> Manage> Disk Management> It shows the SD as healthy partition's as 16 MB and 183 GB...Without any drive letter...I tried to right click and assign a drive letter, I am unable to assign a drive letter in the Disk Management Console...I assume if i am able to assign a drive letter, I will be able to Run Check Disk from a Command Line to Check for and fix Disk Errors and hopefully recover my SD card data...

How to transfer APP's Data to SD Card

Hi, I am trying to find out how can I transfer my app's data to external SD Card so I can save some space in the phone. I saw some videos but all they do is transfer/make a copy of the apk file in the SD Card. I want the app's data/obb to be transfered to SD Card and the app to use it from there. Like in the older models of android there used to be an option Move to SD Card.
