I have think about Overclocking, is it Possible with my HTC 7 Pro ?
I have
HSPL 1.22
Software 7.10.8773.98
Chip SOC 2-2-5-0
I think about my EX HTC Desire that i have Overclocked to 1.2Ghz
and my EX Samsung Galaxy Tab that runs with 1.4 Ghz
have anybody an Idea about it...???

Recently I purchased a phone from China.
Haipai Noble I9220 (X710D) MTK6577 Android 4.0 512MB +4 GB Dual-core 1.2GHz 5.3 "WVGA Screen GPS Smartphone.
Is it possible to replace Rom to get better performance?
I've done a Roth and I had rum of HTC EVO 4G but something does not look good performance.

The HTC Touch Diamond 2 is a Windows Mobile 6 phone. I'm not sure if that particular phone supports Android or not, but if someone managed to port Android to that device it would most likely be rooted (as most if not all custom ROMs come pre-rooted). I highly doubt your phone has Android 4.1 only for the reason that it hasn't even been ported to most Android devices let alone an older Windows Mobile handset.
I found it how to root this phone.
It is a "HDC Galaxy i9300 SIII PLUS - MT6577"

There are 2 different versions android 4.0 and 4.1 with diffenent flash files...

I had read many seller give mtk6577 phones at 1.2 ghz cpu, so i think it would be possible to overclock, but i have no idea how.

No way, other than modifying the kernel source and adding the overclock frequencies into it.

hello voty i think that you can root your phone easily and i can help you with that but tell me:
1. your os and its version
2.is your os version native or upgraded
3.small details like ram and cpu info

Also do you recommend custom ROM for little extra speed ? Or stick with rooted android 4 0 4 ?
