Hi, I tried to download the Google Wallet from Play Store, but it is telling me my nexus S is not compatible.
I remember it works flawless a couple months ago, but now, play store doesn't allow me to download it. Is there anyone having the same problem?
Would it be related to the ROM that I am using?
(btw, I've rooted my nexus S)

I'm rooted and it works fine for me. The latest update from this week says its not compatible with our phones but oh well. I'll stick with what works.

Yes. There's a little banner at the top saying it isn't supported, but it still works. I think "not supported" basically means don't cry to us (Google) if you're having problems or your rooted phone is stolen and someone uses your wallet.

what rom were you using? it installed fine for me on cm9 but it says unsupported device or whatever on aokpb35
I'm on CM9. Wallet has the yellow banner across the top saying unsupported, but everything is fully functional.

I'm having the same issue with my Nexus S on AOKP milestone 5.
I cannot download it from the play store (incompatible device) - and no offence to the guy that posted a link to a local download - but this is one app that I would like to come from a completely safe source.
I haven't a clue why, but after flashing to 4.1.1 (OTA) on my Nexus S, my Titanium Backup failed to restore my Wallet app, and the play store kept saying it was incompatible. I tried a few others I found online, but they would either not install or crash. This apk works!
anyone happened to have the latest apk that google release today? (i.e. wallet support other major credit cards)

Thanks! Set this up on my T-mo NS and I was able to see my existing cards in google's online wallet. It did actually update after I installed the APK. But I couldn't get the play store to recognize my Tmo NS as a compatible device earlier today.

Yes, there is. It was included in the last official OTA the ThunderBolt received. Not only that, it has been updated in the market since the OTA and the update works fine. Added a new animation to the loading arrows.

Yeah if you're rooted and on GB, you do not have a working MyVerizon. Mine won't let me download it from the market.

yeah you said official so I was just making sure people knew there was an official version for the TBolt. It's actually bloat now with the latest OTA.

Yeah I'm sure once they release the official GB update, MyVerizon will be supported on our ROMs. Kind of sucks because that's how I paid my bill before. Now I have to go online or use the phone system.

MyVerizon and GB Roms
I have tested MyVerizon apk on multiple GB roms and the only one that it hasn't worked on is Synergy. This sucks because i have grown to love Synergy Rom the best. I hope they are able to figure out the issue.

I've only been able to get it to work on Sky Raiders latest preview. Everyone has had different experiences I'm sure. I personally will be glad when it works across the board.

what does this file do?
The newest my verizon will install on my phone, but fc's upon opening. I have working nfl app. Using xpacks nosense rom (sense based)
Most custom roms are missing the Verizon single sign on which is the app that my Verizon uses to authenticate itself.

I have that, but the app still force closes. Weird thing is, it shows my balance behind the FC warning. It is connecting.
Same thing with verizon video, you can open it and browse videos, but only some videos play.

This didn't do anything but make it not work at all it worked on gingeritis b4 they updated the my Verizon app

This is the file that made it work for me on uberbamf the old my Verizon app worked before with out but when the update came it said was missing the login client. This should only work with the latest my Verizon and I also beleive that may have to clear the cache and data on the app.

my verizon and the nfl mobile will omly work on a rom that includes what it takes to log in to "my verizon profile",just copying the vzwsso engine and ssopermission only works for a while.the it times out, the only rom I know of that prompts you to login after starting one of the apps is the bamf 2.3,find out what adr left in that rom and you find your fix,i dont know what to look for,but so far I have been thru 8 roms in 2 days to find one that nfl mobile worked on.

NFL mobile works fine for me but the newest myverizon force closes. This using cleantheory based on 2.11.

I know koush's early ics port supported Wallet and it worked great for me. I currently have some money on wallet and would like to use it.
Can anyone direct me to a rom with wallet? I Tried to find Koush's Old GAPPS, but cant seem to find it.

Can devs only attact Wallet to ICS or is there a flashable zip? The one for GB doesnt work on ICS.

Thanks for the reply! Im currently Using this and one of Drew Garens Early Ports ONLY because it has WALLET bundled.
I wish someone can make an updated Flashable Zip For the NS 3G. Or Just more roms with WALLET bundled.

I am also curious to find a usable .apk for Google Wallet. I am currently using Brainmasters 4.0.3 Stock Rom - which is amazing, with awesome tweaks!
I have tried an old 2.3.6 .apk, GoogleWallet_1.1R41V8-1.ics.zip (I forget where I found them) and they keep force closing.
Any Help would be amazing since AT&T wont allow Google Wallet due to the whole Isis thing or whatever.

After an embarassing debacle at the store this morning... time to knock this back up to the top.
I'm not going to make another thread when this one is basically asking the same thing.
wallet just failed - because the nfc chip seems to get disabled when wallet is installed. thought it was the kernel but after testing not the case..
Testing went like this:
Beam 4.1.0 rom clean install nothing else = nfc chip chirps at my CC when scanning.
Beam + eugene's kernel = nfc chirps.
Beam + glados kernel = nfc chirps
Beam + GoogleWallet_1.1R41V8-4.ics.403 = no chirp
Beam + any kernel + GoogleWallet_1.1R41V8-4.ics.403 = no chirp.
It's the package from testing that just busts nfc... ideas anyone?
or if anyone is running that Neapolitan flavor rom - export the wallet as an APK for us and attach it in this thread. I'll test it out to see if we can get it working.

I have an i9023 in the US and running Pete Alfonso's latest (22-1-12) build and I'm also getting this message. I've never been able to get wallet to work no matter what rom I'm on. I always get this same message.
I'm on a t-mobile prepaid plan, perhaps that's why I can't use it?? I've tried without the sim card and I get the same problem

There's no difference coming from an older version. Running neak 4.03 on my Galaxy sii. From what I can see, it's lacking the magazines and other new options, in fact it looks identical to the previous version. Has anybody else seen these new features?

I know this is off-topic, but it's still mostly about the system/app folder o.o A few hours ago I pulled the updated market from the 4.1OTA zip and got it working. Any idea how to get Google Now working? I know it's pretty much locked down, but it's quite the wonderful thing.

This week Verizon announced a promo to be to watch games on the NFL app from the Google Play Store. To my (unhappy) surprise I downloaded the app, opened it up and was faced with the popup saying error and the app only supports Verizon phones.
Currently the ROM used on the Galaxy S III is the Official AOKP JB Build 3. Looking like Verizon has snubbed the rooted user.
Anyone known of a work around or mod to be able to use the app? The promo is great (if running a non rooted device).

You need to go into a stock touchwiz Rom and download it. Backup with data on titanium backup. Load your AOSP/AOKP ROM and restore the app and data. Will work.

I came across the same issue with a few different ROMS. It depends on the Kernel. I'm currently running JellyWiz Hybrid RLS7.
The best way to get it and let's say GPS to work is to flash and go back to bone stock in Odin.
Set up your phone as you normally would. DL the NFL app and run it as normal...
Then root your device and it should work no problem.

It's just actually in the build prop. There are a combination if build prop and supporting apps that are needed. I know in is the Verizon login agent, but I'm not sure on the others.

thanks! this method worked for me. I tried installing the verizon sign on apk and that didn't work, but this flashable zip worked like a charm on AOKP
ive been thinking about buying this phone but i just want to confirm that i can get google wallet if use a jellybean or ics rom. can anyone confirm its working for them?
