Call att and say the rep who helped you or the person who she talked to put you on the wrong data plan and say I need the lte data plan for an HTC one x with unlimited. They will change it for you. I've done this since I work in a cell phone store that carries att

Can't connect to network?

I just bought an Inspire and I can't connect to Att network. It shows the H+ and shows that Att is my Newtork Operator but it wont let change any of the settings or scan for other networks. I had a HD2 that was unlocked and work like a charm on the network but now it won't let me play with the settings. Do you think that I have an old data plan back in 2005 that was unlimited to my Sony Erricison?
Your data plan has to be 4g otherwise it won't connect to the data. You can keep unlimited also.

The H+ usually means that you are connected to the data network. Are you sure it isn't a H with a check mark? Which means that you aren't connected to the network. To use the default APN settings you have to be on a "4G" plan, like the previous poster said. You can always add an APN to the list and use it as well. I had this issue when I first got my Inspire. Try these settings.

SIMPLE Mobile Settings for Mytouch 4g Slide

These settings are from simple mobile customer service. I have been successfully using the Internet and MMS with these settings. I hope they can save some Simple Mobile MT4GS users some time.
If you don't have a contract and are looking for a service for this or some other gsm phone I can highly recommend Simple Mobile. I have been using the service for a year now. It's $60/month for all you can eat voice/sms/data. That $60 includes fees and taxes. That's an out the door cost.

internet just stopped working ?

really have no idea whats going on, i used my phone like normal today running darky rom (port)
(yes i have an infuse 4g) and now my internet wont work at all, a few days ago i got a text from att saying that i was in the top 5% of internet users orsomething.
(i dont do any tethering, but i stream pandora all the time). i checked data at the time i was at 5gb.
i checked again now and im at 5.5 gg.
i thought that because i had an iphone 3g previously and had a grandfathered data plan that i should be alright.
(when i check data with *data# it says, (data 5519.3 of unlimited)
when i try to go to any website it loads for a long time then says "web page is not available"
any idea whats going on ?

Check into settings---> wireless connections--->Mobile networks--->APN(access point names)
Just check you still got your att apns they may have erased or be bad information.
If that doesnt work go into recovery try a cache cleaning.
If that doesnt work try another ROM, if you still have no data then call ATT.
Hope it solves.

yeah i checked my apn's and they were fine.
as it turns out i checked again the next morning and it was working no problem.
my guess is att was doing maintenance or something lol
Funny thing is my phone was doing the same thing. Must have been maintenance because all my phones weren't working.

I'm pretty sure Straight Talk does all that with unlimited data for $45 a month. I get 2Mb/s D and 1Mb/s U in a large area covering two states, PA and MD. Using an AT&T unlocked Note.

These are the settings I have that work for both 4G data and picture messaging. I'm using an AT&T ZTE Radiant Z740 Go Phone. Your setting options may or may not be different, you may have more or less settings, just plug in the info that seems to match what I posted. If you have to manually type APN Type then make sure no spaces are entered or auto added between "default, supl, mms". That prevented me from picture messaging for a long time before I noticed I had spaces.

If you use AT&T prepaid after buying the device outright that apn will not work for data. You have to use ATT Phone and phone for the first two lines.
