[Q] What is the latest NVflash(back to stock) - Eee Pad Transformer Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is there an ICS NVflash for stock out? The one that i found seems to be for HC.

you didn't look hard enough.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23886238

Anyone have a line on NVFlash'able .24 version? Or some hints on how to convert .24 to an NVFlash'able version (would be glad to do it myself, but I haven't found much info on that process)?
Thanks!

[RECOVERY] clockwork Mod

paul @modaco has achieved a custom recovery, which he has realeased as a beta, but why not let all the users hereon xda know to, this is why i am posting this solution now.

So was this method similar to the Droid X psuedo recovery which hijacks the boot process?
I'm having a issue with the backup process, it keeps trying to back up ALL data on the internal memory instead of just the app data portion. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Xoom did the same thing. We had to move all media to computer or microsd so it didn't get backed up.

There has already been a version 5.x.x.x posted here that seems to fully work just fine. Why would anyone want to go back to an older version? This is even earlier than the one Solarnz and Roach have introduced.

some of that info is in serious need of updating. The new CWM is not really that old. Kind of suprising that the thread is that out of date. Even Roach and Solarnz are updated more than this one.

Perfect if only my TF was delivered today instead of on monday but will use this after trying custom kernels thanks!
When it gets here I'm thinking just to flash sc's repackaged 3.1 vs prime and pretty much run stock.. well maybe oc a little bit.
But it seems stock repackaged hc3.1 is providing the best user experience.

Super's stock 3.1 repack is the best I you could say ROM. Stock with Superuser!!! But I dont see why you cant flash any of the other OC kernels on top of the Stock repack, its rooted same as any other rooted ROM. Actually before I read this I was thinking of flashing Blades on 3.1 repack]
EDIT: says file is unavailable
Awesome thanks man! Is there any way you can provide an MD5 for this as well? I grabbed it from MegaUpload, but want to make sure it's 100% valid.
Thx again!

Thanks for this. Now I dont have any issues checking out the OC kernel.
This just saved my bacon, I flashed Netarchy via Kernel Manager and ended up in a boot loop.
Thanks so much for posting this

[Tool]Razorclaw - One click Root for all ASUS Transformers, 3G and Slider(25-12-2011)

Razorclaw is a new tool (on-device!) for rooting any version ASUS Transformer.
Update 25-12-2011: Only use the below versions! The latest OTA has the vulnerability fixed! Sorry for the late update on this.
Currently known supported versions:
ASUS Transformer TF101 (8.6.5.19)
ASUS Transformer 3G TF101G (8.6.6.19)
ASUS Slider SL101 (8.6.5.18)
Update nov 16: Works with Slider as well! Also, Google suspended the app from market, so get it from the site!
Simply install, click Root, and you're good to go!
More info and download links at http://androidroot.mobi/2011/11/14/introducing-razorclaw-v1/
Note: Any donations people decide to give for this should go to the donate link on http://androidroot.mobi/donations/ and NOT directly to me.

Does TF101G have the update with the App Backup yet?
We lacked a TF101G and Slider device to test on, so it's a maybe. In all likelihood it will work with those devices as well

Use ViperMod (Option 1) to root.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1427125
There's also this here that's pretty new but it seems easy enough.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1534475
After you have root, use RecoveryInstaller to flash CWM recovery.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1346180
As for your tablet, yes your C10 would fall in the SBK v2 caategory like some B70 and B80 ect. You look like you have the most up to date Honeycomb firmware but as you know there is now ICS available.
Good reading if you have a little times

Oh well that seems a lot more useful, porting to same device sounded pretty weird.
Ok, on the OP for the SGS3 you state that the ARM rev needs to be the same, which for all 4 tabs, it is (ARMv7-A). Having said that, all the processors are different than that on the 101. Would this not cause issues?
At this point I am curious because I would certainly love to have a stock JB rom to my 101 (I simply cannot get used to the idea of AOSP on my devices.... plus most apps simply quit (not FC but actually quit) on most JB roms I've tried )
Also, I would love to write about this on the Portal, but I will need for you to make a bit of a more comprehensive OP (and some d/l links would be nice too )

By armv7 or armv6 I'd it boot loops just get a log cat and replace what's broken
And no need to put on portal, my sgs3 one was there once already
