Version 1.2 on the way, I'm having a little trouble with 121 but will have the updates out soon as I can acquire a stable package. In the interim Theme Chooser version continues(Theme Chooser functionality in 121 is one of the problems I'm having). Please bear with FXP & all as we make the transition into ICS, its a beautiful thing. If you want to use this package you may want to stick with 120 until update. Thanks a bunch, eb
Highlights will Include:
Latest FXP CM9 support
NEW fully "S" modded Apex Launcher update(now available as an individual download)

Many various UI enhancements & improvements
Sorry no Theme Manager yet. Promise soon to follow. eb. 5/22
PREVIEW - LATEST SCREENSHOTS
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=26411568
IMPORTANT NOTE: 5/16
THIS MAY NOT YET BE COMPATIBLE WITH FXP121. IF YOU HAVE BOOT LOOP (EXPECT 2-5 MINUTE INITIAL BOOT ANYWAY SO BE SURE NOT STILL BOOTING) YOU WILL NEED TO USE FXP120. I CURRENTLY HAVE WORKING W FXP121 BUT USED DIFFERENT INSTALL METHOD. DONT LET THIS STOP YOU FROM TRYING BUT I WILL UPDATE AND CONFIRM COMPATIBILITY W FXP121 SOON AS POSSIBLE. Thanks for you're interest, eb. 5/20
Hey I've been working on this for a while now and since CM9 is getting more & more stable its now starting to maybe be something usable. eb. 5/16
DESCRIPTION:
This (or the most part) at its core is the UI taken primarily from Doom's LEAKED ARC ICS ROM mixed with Icon/apps from "S" dumps. As mentioned this is a temp solution since Theme Chooser is now available in CM9. My plan is to port this work over and combine with future additions into a TC version. This is a bit more work and recommended for more experienced users but in my opinion worth the effort.
Although for the most part this particular solution is primarily for the X10 there is a simplified easier solution which should have a more broad range of compatibility posted under this same forum.
Version 1.0 non-Theme Chooser uploaded. Link in signature below.
MAIN THEME DOWNLOAD LINK CONTAINED WITHIN INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS.XML.
BONUS: I've also included in the etc zip various new ICS explorer & Theme Chooser apps to encourage those of you who haven't already to check out CM9/ICS. It's perty darn cool and a great time to do so. eb

My apologies as I was merely passing the word of its activation within FXP120. Until now this option was not yet available so it will be a few days or so before I can port the work over so please bear with me. A Theme Chooser version for CM9 is most certainly my immediate focus so please stay tuned.
In the interim you and all non-X10 owners may have some luck popping this open and replacing/installing various elements individually. Most should work especially the launchers. The only thing you will miss is the UI components. However if the demand wasn't too great those who would like to send me their "systemUI.apk" & "frameworks.res.apk" I'll see what I can do.
Files have been updated. eb

Hey vig and anyone else who prefers Theme Chooser only I suggest trying out my XperiaGen-S theme for both TC & ADW. Although some elements wont translate since made for cm7(mainly icons) the UI elements seem to be in-tact. Then you could install my Apex Launcher mod which will allow you to use my ADW icon pack for desktop.
Cm9 Theme Chooser in the works though but I'm just sayin.
I'll post the launchers and whatever else cm9 I have individually shortly.

hey there! im runing feralab v19 rom and i really want your theme to work on that rom. do you think it would be possible to make an xrec.zip for feras rom? thanks for your answer! cheers
Hmmm, that would be tough for me as I've turned most of my attention to Cyanogen ROMs. However looks like you've got some guys already doing theme work for fera ROM so maybe you can get one of them to grab these files and port it over. Shouldn't be hard for someone who already has the tools/experience in-place working w that particular ROM. Sorry I couldn't help. earbrain

This is a theme I put together based off of xvenom89's NuBlu theme found here:
http://forums.miui-dev.com/viewtopic.php?f=54&t=47
I made this theme to suit my needs and I know a few people used it on the 1.29 build so I figured I would post it up here.
All credit goes to xvenom89 and his work creating the framework mods (especially the .9.png's , and for doing all of the hard work).
Additions to NuBlu:
Changed battery and GPS icons to match the rest of the colors
Modified the lockscreen slider to blue while charging
Restored the original MIUI grey semi-transparent pop-up menus
Added CM blue Nexus live wallpaper
Added a few of my favorite wallpapers and lockscreen wallpapers to the default MIUI selection menu
Modified the original MIUI(1.29) style icons to blue
Added folding animations (Personally I like set the Window and Transition animation setting to fast in Spare Parts)
On with the Pics:

Just flash over the top of bcnice20's MIUI test 5 rom located here:
http://forums.miui-dev.com/viewtopic.php?f=43&t=17
I wiped cache and dalvic, but didn't need to wipe data. Your mileage may vary.
Also, I recommend booting into the Rom first, then flashing the theme.

Let me know what you think, constructive feedback is always welcome.
P.S. I've gotten reports on here and on the miui-dev forum that this theme will flash correctly on both the nexus1 and incredible miui builds. You're mileage may vary: nandroid first!!!

This is really a great theme to compliment the MIUI ROM. I'm using RoDrIgUeZsTLe MIUI and it works fine with it on my N1. The screen transitions in certain apps is so cool and gives the ROM a slick feel.
Great work!

Much appreciated. The theme might flash over builds for other phones ie. Incredible, N1, but I worked from xvenom89's evo theme as a base. The frameworks for other rom's might be similar.
Good luck flashing and post if it works on any other builds.

I haven't worked on any sense based themes in a while, but most of things like the menu styles and launcher are unique to MIUI roms and would be nearly impossible to port over to sense without the source and a serious amount of development investment.
Interm of blue themes for sense, I normally take my rom as a base and cut and paste in framework mod's from different themes like the galaxy and others to make a hybrid. It's a lot of work but if I ever go back to sense I will release some blue themes for the community.
great job on this

sweet i cant wait. only reason i haven't flashed a theme is because they update the rom every night. but i cant wait for an rc so i can flash yours.
Would you guys like me to make the status bar icons (voicemail, text, e-mail, etc) blue or would you prefer me to leave them stock?
You could make them blue I'm with the Guy who asked about the theme working with the theme Chooser within cm7. I think that would make it so much easier to apply the theme.
very noob questions (not familiar with htc, very familiar with moto), but is there a way to flash an AOSP rom (CM7) and still install some of the htc widgets (friendstream, etc)? I also like the htc lockscreen better, and even rosie. I'd love to add them to this theme if possible.

yea, it's a good widget too. and the calendar widget looks similar to HTC's as well. but i used to get some bad lag/redraws with launcher pro plus on my original droid. prob won't be the case with the Inc. though. I'll go that route when I make the switch to an AOSP rom

ARCify Your X10
UPDATE: Planning to make this thread official by merging all the threads involving apps and themes from the ARC for X10 so forum won't be cluttered up keep this thread alive, also im looking for someone that can possibly ZIP up all of this so it can be flashable via XRECOVERY cheers
As we all know, Xperia Arc has been announced and the only difference between that and our X10 is .2 inch bigger screen, bravia engine, and Exmor-R Camera sensor and HDMI out, other than that its the same thing as for us X10 users we are jealous of the new launcher, widgets, wallpapers etc. and well now its possible with great people that can port over all of that to work with our X10s, i made this thread to dedicate for all things ARC for the X10 and make it a one stop for everyone to ARCify their X10, this is my way of giving back to the community!

This theme has been in the works for a while from me, but I was waiting for a public release of the Xperia Arc /system, in order for me to release the theme to public.
In the leaked /system the signal/data/WiFi icons turn green when connected to Google services. This is not the case here, and probably will not be in retail devices either (my mod is based on the newest firmware build).

Silly question but it hasn't been asked yet: will this work on a (modified) stock 2.1 ROM without any errors?

Okay thanks,
Just I recall others were getting a parse error and whatnot when using the Arc widgets, etc, with non-Arc firmware.
First lets give thanx to the develepor of the app Zipthemer, Kellinwood. Below is a link to his thread with some background and instructions with more links on how to use his special and handy app. This is the official thread for support and development of this app so please read

Keep in mind compatibility issues because you might be on CM6 rom and the morph files are for theme chooser (CM7) roms. I have personally found some stuff to work either way but it is strictly by luck because im not sure about the framework differences between 2.2.1 Froyo and 2.3.3 Gingerbread.
Next is a very useful link to get you started in using these add-ons with some more instructions and lots of ways to pick and choose certain themeing aspects of your favorite rom. I know it says it is for theme chooser but i have personally used the extreme dialer morph gray on my CM6.1.3 V1.3 Scamble Rom by Rendeiro2005. My method is to always create these update-zip and undo-zip (the files Zipthemer will create) with your stock custom rom so if it doesnt work (getting stuck at bootscreen) you can always go back to the way it was without having to restore using xrecovery. These update zips are flashable through xrecovery as a custom zip even though the suffix says "update-zip". Just remember the undo-zip brings your themes (dialer, lockscreen, entire themes, whatever you are morphing) back to the way everything was before creating the zips without messing with any of your data. Wow I hope nobody is confused but if I can do it so can you. Just try to play with it and remember the order of themeing you choose. Give thanks to Dont Panic and UpwardSpiral for all their awesome work in the following link.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1013757
Here is one more link for some complete themes for use in zipthemer or for the TMobile theme engine (CM7 theme chooser). I have personally used a lot of R3Ds themes on both CM6 using the morph files and the apks for the theme chooser and all is good. You might find other stuff that works at his site just give it a try and give thanks to R3Ds and others there.

I will try to keep this thread updated as I find more useful links and information. I am kinda busy with my daily duties but am addicted to all the wonderful things Android can do but just remember that I am learning and have learned so much through everyone in all of the superb XDA Forums. I love my Xperia X10 and will continue to find ways to make it mine. I know everyone before me can explain in detail on instructions and how things are supposed to work but if anyone is having problems I will do my best to show how I get it to work. One last thing:
The best find to me is the following link thanks to my friend CondemnedSoul in the Eris forums for sharing his speedobattery mod with all of us here on X10. Remember to use zipthemer to create the update-zip and then flash it using xrecovery

EDIT 4/23/2011
Check this site for all the customizing you could want all the way down to just changing one icon in the status bar. All of the instructions are for metamorph but it couldnt be any easier with zipthemer.

Dont forget to thank and even donate where you can if you like their work, all I did was share it here.
Just wanted to say real quick on my theme chooser themes... I'm not sure if they will work on the cm7 roms here... yet... I made them from what I had for those themes when I did them as cm6 eris themes so they are mainly setup for mdpi devices. However, since I'm going to be changing the yo be used on hdpi as zipthemer files I will also redo and update the theme chooser ones for hdpi as well I was debating on doing that for the theme chooser ones anyway so maybe there will be some willing testers once I have some stuff together?
Thanks for posting this and the support bro

Hey CondemnedSoul, i was using the only cm7 rom we have a couple weeks ago and i know i got them to work but it is hard to remember if i used your fix. When i installed the apk it would be counted in the theme chooser but after the fix it would show up. I will test anything you got but was also wondering about a morph for just the notification bar dropdown menu from blackened, skulls, and dragon themes. That is what i remember the most about your cm7 themes. The entire themes would just be as good as it gets though and thanks in advance. Im sure others and myself will test anything you got

Sweet... That's good to know then. You may have used the flashable fix for Theme Chooser I had posted if it was a couple of weeks ago. That replaced Theme Chooser with an older version so that themes that were made in windows or without a screen preview would show up in the selections. I've just recently... just about a week ago, before I released my ROM, rebuilt each of them in Linux with the T-Mobile modified SDK that's needed to properly compile the CM7 themes to be fully compatible with Theme Chooser
Thanks for this post. I'm always happy to see that others find my app useful.
If you don't mind, I'd rather you link to the main support thread for ZipThemer... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=888171. Your current link references an Eris specific thread, FYI.
I am always willing to help solve problems with ZipThemer and encourage users to post in the above thread when issues arise.

For eveyone wanting to try using the Zipthemer app dont be shy. There will be plenty of support here thanks to everyone involved and i will continue to update the first post with links as i find them. Just remember to search for "metamorph" or "morph" or "mm" or " zipthemes" to get the results you want

Hey guys I have posted a new link at the bottom of 1st post and if you want to be able to pick and choose what you cutomize on your rom this is the site for you. It can't be any easier and im not sure if anyone else is even trying these methods but it is worth it. It beats going to the UOT kitchen because there is so much more here and with the option to undo everything without having to do a long ass restore.
Finally done porting MIUI GB to our Galaxy YMIUI GB 2.3.7 For GALAXY Y S5360

Its in beta stage i.e.. it ain't stable. But still you can make phone calls, click photos, listen to music via file manager.
Graphics, hmmm... red/blue swapped. But when you take a screenshot and upload it on your PC it shows true color , no miss match.
I had replaced gralloc.default.so from stock rom to MIUI (to fix red/blue swapped bug) but the phone got stuck at the initial Samsung Logo. The phone vibrated twice and when I pressed the power, home and volume keys it did vibrate.

You have to flash it over stock rom duh !
First- flash MerrukTechnology Kernel 2.0 via Odin3 1.85
Then follow the instructions given above.
MIUI is only for hdpi devices. Our device is a ldpi device so it technically doesn't support MIUI. But Galaxy y has a really good hardware, so its able to run MIUI.
I don't have any themes
Sorry:angel:
hope for the best try after fixing the bug
nice work but still gotta lot of fixing to do!
Are you in a position to help people fixing the bugs or you are good at porting other peoples work ?

I just good at porting stuff.
Bugs will get fixed when MadTeam releases its kernel for CyanogenMod 7
Good News Everyone ^_^
MIUI GB Beta 1.1 is on its way -
- Theme issue will be fixed (hopefully)
So fingers crossed
sorry for this but...
i'd suggest we help people working on the CM7 first,
im 100% sure if we have a stable CM7 then we can port MIUI, JOYOS, LewaOS
I do agree to above post, without a fully working and stable CM7, then we won't have good ports. Garbage In - Garbage Out as what programmers say.
Anyway, as long as this one can make a call and send SMS, I can deal with it. The last MIUI port I tried, the SMS app gets FC's all the time and it can't get a signal.
Good.
I'll download it and see what I can do.

Hi,
Was wondering if you could give me Chobits NitroSpeed tweaks for my MIUI Rom to stabilize it.
Also, can you give me necessary comands(i.e. permissions etc etc) for updater-script to make your Chobits NitroSpeed tweaks work and embed it in my MIUI Rom ?
