while tring to update to new baseband the inst.docx would not open up, it said it was corrupted. So I tryed to figure it out and now my phone says s/w update when turned on. So how can I get a good copy of the inst.docx to maybe fix my messup? Any help is appreciated.

I have a problem with my sidekick 4g when I try to go into recovery mode it freezes on the boot logo after that I tried charging it to see if nomorepowah would show up but I have to take the battery out for like an hour I've been trying to find the stock recovery and I can't find it I didn't change the recovery either all I tried doing a long time ago is install cwm but now it freezes when I try to go into recovery anybody have an answer to why its doing this?

Might have to odin back. I think its partially the nomoarpower's fault. Its obviously affecting how your booting, and it is a coverup for boot. Try removing it, and if it dosent work, then odin back to stock, then flash whatever you had. This might not be the solution, just trying to help

Download Titanium Backup and try to delete it.
Then install ICS messaging from the market.
I would assume this would work but I haven't tried it so back it up just in case.

Ever since I upgraded from cm10 to the jellywiz rom I have been getting "Cannot access external sdcard for security reasons." I paraphrased because I can't remember the exact wording. Anyways anyone know why that is or if there is a workaround for it? I have tried multiple ROMs and even changed the kernel but it didn't work. I wanted to try to go back to ICS then back to another jellybean build but I am not sure how to do that. I hear it has bricked a lot of phones. Has anyone had this same issue and somehow fixed it? I miss my music.

Yeah it won't even recognize it when I plug my phone in my computer. It will recognize that there is one on my device but it says "blank sdcard or unsupported file system" It is the correct file system and it worked in ICS and CM10.

Sounds like you figured it out. Now have you tried formatting the card to see if it can be saved. Obviously after you back everything up, since your computer reads it.

What size is the sd Card
When I check for a software update for like the last 2 days I get an error message telling me basically it's not available. I've been reading around and others are having this problem as well and some had Verizon change their SIM card and some have had to replace their phones. Anybody know anything more about this?

It's a SIM card issue... Go to Verizon and get a new SIM and the OTA will show up immediately

Haven't taken an OTA ever. All it can do is cause problems. Let the devs check that it is safe and then flash the hard file version. You can also get a bad download from Verizon as easy as you can get it anywhere else and no MD5 to check it. Have seen many bricks caused by failed OTAs.
That happened to me. I had to get a new phone. Luckily I had only had the phone a week, so they gave me a brand new one, no refurb crap.

I soft bricked my att atrix again. I used rsd lite to get back to stock. At the end of it it says to power my phone back on. The phone is already on tho. I used these same files many times already. I tried afew times now. Pluging my phone in my computer does nothing but charge it now. Any ideas?

It boots but now my computer Dosent see my phone at any time except in fast boot. Rsd lite never says finshed it says for me to turn my phone.
