Hi All,
This is a port of the advanced power menu from j4n87's tweaks app, used with permission.
This version does NOT have the extra functions like data, screenshot, vibrate, etc., as these will be addable features in my upcoming tweaks app. It is just a straight power menu with the extra reboot functions (see screenshots). It is for DEODEXED users only, as I really despise editing odex files.
As we do not have flashable zip capability yet, you can install this by:
1. Make a NANDROID backup!!
2. Download Appropriate zip;
3. Copying the files to your sdcard;
4. Flash as usual via recovery (dalvik & cache wipe recommended)
5. Reboot.
Please remember that you flash at your own risk, and I am not responsible if you gimp your phone...

The only problem I had was when I copied the files to the /system/framework folder, my phone rebooted while copying the framework-res.apk and just wouldn't go past the bootup screen.
Not a big deal though since I just reran the RUU to get back to stock and reran CleanRom by replacing the files in his installer with your android.policy.jar and framework-res.apk. Everything is working fine now.
May I suggest you make a batch installer like kenneth and scrosler have made for their tools? It seems replacing the framework-res.apk file within root explorer causes a reboot before it can completely copy the file to the /system/framework folder.
If not and if it's okay, I will try to make a batch installer for this if you want. I don't want to step on any toes, just giving some feedback.

Yeah that was going to be my next step to try ES but just decided to take a shortcut using the CleanRom tool just in case it didn't work.
I might have to look up solid explorer though. Sounds nice.

Btw thanks for the heads up on solid explorer. It's a pretty sweet app. The dual panel mode and drag and drop function are pretty sweet since I am always moving files around such as boot animations and stuff like that.

Strange, pushed to Scott's Cleanrom, rebooted (fastboot erase cache as well) and no change.
Ok. I did something really wrong with this. I downloaded the zip. Unzipped and used ES File Explore to cut and paste the files.
However the system just froze after the paste...
Tried to reboot and it is froozen on the HTC One Screen.
Tried to do a Hard Reset Frozen on the HTC One Screen.
What other methods can I do to get back up and running?

The first thing you'll want to do is root your phone. You can look up instructions for specific devices at xda-developers, but keep in mind that rooting is not supported by warranty and could turn the phone into a paperweight.
Still with us? Now, follow the instructions, as posted on Reddit:
1) Download ES File Explorer (Or any other root file editor)
2) In ES File Explorer, go into Setting > Root Settings and enable both check boxes
3) Navigate to /system/ and copy/paste build.prop to /sdcard/ (just in case)
4) Open & edit /system/build.prop
5) Change the following lines to make your phone think it is an HTC G2:
--ro.product.model=HTC Vision
--ro.product.manufacturer=HTC
OR
--ro.product.model=Nexus S
--ro.product.manufacturer=samsung
6) Reboot the phone
7) Install the netflix apk (if you haven't already)

I haven't tried this myself, as my only Android device is a Droid Incredible, which doesn't require extra hoop-jumping. Obviously, you work around Netflix's obstacles at your own risk, but the ability to tinker is one of the reasons you got an Android phone in the first place, right?

Interesting, I've tried searching for the netflix app but couldn't find it on glacier. The author seemed to think you could download it first then do the process. Have you used this method and tried to find the app after changing the build.prop?

I edited the build.prop and used the Nexus S, Samsung build (reboot), but on mine I only get a black screen, audio is working for about 5 to 8 seconds, then it goes back to the movie list.. no FC message... I was thinking maybe this is because I'm using a custom kernel + custom ROM? Are you guys using the stock kernel?... I also have a HTC G2 (supposedly supported), but on that phone I only get an audio and white screen...

Were u using royal Ginger 2.0 or 1.6?
MT4G + CM7 + Faux's BFS LV kernel
2.0 but the official app won't work. You have to us the mod app I posted above.
Can the netflix.apk be modded itself?
inside the apk, there's a folder called "lib" and inside lib, there's a folder called "armeabi"
which lists

i can't get es file explorer to view my phone. It seea my sd card, but when i hit up folder, it says press again to exit. it won't show my phone files. i gave root permissions any ideas?
Im on royalginger v2.0 & I cnt get this to wrk?? Im tried renamin the build.prop,changed to 3 different flash players including v10.3 & nothing..Will just have to wait until ckisgen updates this lovely rom..

As you can tell the One S TMOUS is working great (in reference to my sig) and now towns that I had no response from show automatically. I used the file explorer method and it's easy as pie.

Whats wrong with the zip? It should lead straight to my 4shared account. Is it not? I can post the zounduser weather zip just like the other one if its easier for u guys? Also.....u should really just sign up for 4shared! Its free, and theres a lot on there. Plus u can use it as extra storage for ur one x. And did i mention its free. ;-)

You should just need the app and widget, since it will have sense launcher, im not running a sense rom otherwise I would help. You could download a rom and extract the apk.

Off topic but make sure you set up the app to sync your notes online. I just ran into a problem this morning where the file the notes are stored in got corrupted for no particular reason.

Download any Sense ROM that has those apps you want. Open with your favorite Zip program (7zip, winrar, or even root file explorer on your phone), navigate through the folders to the apk you want, copy/paste or just move it onto your storage card. Install app like any other sideloaded app.
The only possibly issue you might have would be with the libs, but the more experienced guys can help you resolve that, if it even becomes an issue.

Yeah i did that a couple of times and nothing happened. The APK's are still there but the .odex files are not. Im not sure what the .odex files are i just saw them with the other files on system/app

I did not create this i am just a messenger passing this along. I installed this onto Virtuous Infinity and works fine. you will not be able to flash this but you can move everything manually using a root explorer.

I used to be like this Just follow my guide on the Make CM9 look like Jellybean. It's the one about pushing the bootanimation. But instead of the BA, use the app. Then push it to sys/app.

The easiest thing to do is just copy it to your root of your sdcard. Then open up Root Explorer and navigate to sdcard on your file tree to access your files there. Find Camera.apk, hold on it until the copy option comes up. Hit the back arrow to get back to your internal card file tree and navigate to "system". Under system you will see a folder called "apps". Select that....touch the R/W option to get out of read only then hit "paste" at the bottom. Leave Root explorer and use your new camera. Simple as that.

i would add a step before you paste and that would be to click the original camera app and rename to camera.app.bak or something along those lines so if you dont like the new camera you can revert back without having to reflash the rom

It would seem like a very good possibility. It ought to be pretty easy to give it a whirl without it disturbing anything else. Just make sure & set your permissions before leaving your file manager.

Im sure it "could" if we had a JB Sense ROM. AOSP lacks the proper framework files to run a Sense camera. So either dont do it, or make a nandroid for when it fails.
I guess i could take the liberty of making this flashable though. But my thing is, who to contact for permission and credit for this camera, the thread linked isnt even the original thread, so i would think its safe to post but DEF got to give credit

Hello together. With friendly permission of Abdullah1997 & ckpv5 from Desire X forum, i'll post here their Sense 5 Camera.apk working for HTC One SV! It has more effects and improvements.
The Camera.apk comes from this thread by Abdullah1997, the one i took was the one from this post by ckpv5.
So please guys, head over there and hit the "Thanks" at each of them!!!
Credits:
- Abdullah1997 for the camera.apk
- ckpv5 for modding it to take away fc's
Notice:
- I use it over a week now and it did not notice that something doesn't work.
- Your mirror app in appdrawer is gone with this mod (but you can go over the camera app to mirror yourself).
I tested this myself on a european non-lte phone and it works.
But as always bricks can happen and i am not responsible if your phone is dead afterwards.
Don't do this, if you are not experienced enough! Flash it on your own risk!
How to install:
Make a backup in recovery!!!
Download this zip file and flash it with recovery.
If you wanna go back, it attach the stock deodexed camera.apk for k2u & k2ul here too.
Download the one that fits to your device and flash with recovery.
For k2ul download this.
And for k2u download that.
Have fun!

I think it will do. Maybe not flashable, but you can try it with a nand backup before.
Otherwise you unzip the camera.apk and copy it to system/app/ (you can rename the stock one to camera.apk.bak before). Then set permission of new camera.apk to rw- r-- r-- and reboot.

How did you try to update to this?
The flashable zip's ARE NOT FOR K2_cl!
Save your stock camera.apk and replace it with the apk from first post (unzip it from first post, doesn't matter which one) using a root explorer.
It works after I got some sleep.
I don't know if it's b/c I set perms properly, or what.
I pulled the apk from zip, and used root explorer to load camera last night at 5am.
This is after I'd HTC unlockeded, TWRP, rooted, danced through the busybox drama to Moonshine s-off, tried drivedroid (didn't work), and a bunch of other things I was used to on my old Nexus S.
Either way the stock cam quality issues are being dealt with, and it doesn't have the phone storage only issue the S4 cam has.
How will i know if my SV is K2U or K2UL?

Oh okay. I realized that i cannot use these because i can't go to recovery mode becaus my bootloader is locked.
I can't use xda app, becuz I make to many mistakes. Post to delete. XD
