Case-Mate Tough: 2 thumbs up

I got my Case-Mate Tough and I am really liking it.
The hard outer shell allows for easy removal from pockets, which is huge for me.
Overall, I like it a little more than an Otterbox Defender I had for the iPhone. I feel like it will protect just as well and it is simpler and less bulky. I feel like a normal drop, from a normal height, it will hold up just as well as a Defender.
I would definitely recommend this case.

I ordered one last night. I had it for the Nexus One and loved it. Can't wait for it to get here.

Where did you buy it from and do you have any pics of the case.

Any comments on the included screen protection? I am trying to decide between ordering one of these and waiting for an Otterbox commuter or defender.

most screen protectors that come with these cases are garbage, you're better off shelling out a few extra bucks and getting a zagg or clear coat.

$19.99 direct from CaseMate. A little cheaper than on the AT&T site that had them for 24.99 but I don't know about shipping costs.

Got one for the Inspire and one for the HD2, $29.98 total shipped.

i picked one up at work today and it really nice, color me impressed. Still thinking about getting the pop! case from them as well.

Screen protector that came with it is not great but it works. Had a zagg on my first inspire and I didn't like it. I couldn't remove it and reuse it so AT&T has it now, but the spray you put on the film leaves bubbles underneath and that bugged me.

Theres nothing around!! They're just sleeves lol! :crying: Anybody know off any good cases that are out in the UK to use meanwhile. So far the options are bad, and I don't want to use a naked phone lol.

I'm waiting for the S gel cases to appear, it's bound to happen before one from China would arrive for me.
In the mean time I guess I'll just keep it in a sock/pouch type thing I have lying around.

I need something until the official bumper turns up (damn! this phone is slippery) so I've ordered the black Flexishield from Mobilefun and will report back with my opinion.

S-Line case is very nice for the N4. Very grippy and looks good too. However, if you're buying this expecting it to prevent scratches on the back, don't. I have 3 or 4 fine scratches at the top of the rear glass after taking the phone out of the case. I'm sure it would help with shattering if it fell, but it seems to have caused a few scratches on the back :/ They're only visible at a certain angle but there are quite a few of them.
Nevertheless, they're just fine scratches and definitely nothing to cry about. I'm going to continue using the case!

I got my S line case a couple of days ago, for 99p including delivery to (and from) the UK - it was 2 days, it's rather great! Grippy, comfortable, not bulky and not scratching the phone either.

It is a ridiculous situation for a piece of injection moulded plastic that must cost less than a pound to manufacture.

I have the Bumper on order but am getting by with an S- line case and a pouch. I'm preferring the pouch though as the S- line, although grippy, feels woefully cheap.

Ionic Guardian + Spigen screen prot.
Well we (in the UK) can pre-order the ionic guardian ... which I think I'm going to do so my phone can hopefully take a few knocks (shame about no otterbox) ... and combine it with the spigen screen protector, just can't choose between oleophobic and ultra crystal ....

Anyone got a better/more protective set up that we can get here? .... I'm guessing there'll be a new wave of people in the UK looking into cases now that we were able to order again today (I luckily managed to get in on the 1-2 weeks but aren't counting my chickens till I get a shipping email)

Just read some feedback on sellers ID and people are happy with it, Quality looks good. Also watched videos on youtube about Nillkin Matte Hard Cover and its positive so going to order for my nexus4 which i will get 1-2 weeks.

[Q] my neo hybrid frame broke

I was so happy with the case it's nicest looking and sleek looking case for the S4.
The white frame I got bottom next to charging port just broke.
I emailed spigen hopefully they will replace it for me I asked if they could replace it with champagne gold color as I am not happy that after 1 month this thing just broke.
Did anyone else have same issue with the case? also I bought invisible shield HD didn't yet apply will it work good with the case? thanks guys.

I have the same problem I liked the case but can not see myself ordering anything else from them as a result. I emailed them and am waiting to see if they will ship a replacement. Also have the HD shield and it looks great.

I ordered mine from their amazon store and they wouldn't replace it a few months back. I love the case just don't expect much from returns unless you bought directly from their website.

I've heard about this SPG policy re: Amazon before.
Didn't know if it was 100% true.
I've dealt with Amazon for quite a while, and this SPG policy is the first, if not the only time I've heard of an OEM not honoring a warranty when they themselves are selling their products on Amazon.
I had purchased the Hybrid from Amazon and returned it 2 days later because even though the styling and look of the case was nice and aesthetically pleasing, the neoprene stretched out near the stock battery and the case itself was as flimsy as I've ever seen in any case I've owned.
The return fell under the 30 day Amazon Return Policy, so I didn't have to deal with the non warranty policy from SPG.

frame
I had 2 of them that broke. I just ordered a new one from Amazon and I will return the broken one. Their support wont respond to your emails. I have a friend that has a newer neo and it looks like they fixed the area around the charger so it wont break as easy.

Have mine since 2 months.i always take the case off with the frame on it,anyway i only take it off if i really need to,maybe 7 times in this 2 months

Yep mine broke too. I put used super glue to put it back together and stopped trying to force non-OEM chargers to it. they are legit. I did a tutorial for the s3 with their skins. the pricing is ridiculas too.they are known for decent quality and cheap pricing, I dont doubt its 90% off....im sure its not a mistake.

I just bought 2 skins and 2 cases for lie $4 shipped, and the skins are pretty decent. they add a stickyness to it but thats a skin....

I wanted to get a case to but they were completley sold out of them so I just ordered some skins....

i bought 3 screen protectors and a case. the case is fine nothing great but the screen protectors seem off. they would stick in the center but not on the sides

This is actually pretty good! on par with invisible shield but a lot cheaper with the xtreme90 discount!
