(Q) What is the Sense launcher called? - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

I have been looking and I just can't figure out what I should freeze to disable the Sense home launcher. Any help is appreciated!

Actual apk should be called Rosie but in tibu it should just be listed as HTC Sense.
Unless you have a couple of launchers to choose from I wouldn't recommend it.
There is no benefit to doing so.

Agreed. Disabling your only launcher is just asking for really odd behavior from your device.

Instead of disabling or freezing (bad idea) the native launcher why not just dl go launcher or one of the other launchers in market? That's what I did on my amaze. Go launcher was just perfect for me.
Haven't done so yet on the hoxxl I don't mind sense 4.
Hope that helps

Correct me if I'm wrong but, if you leave default launcher (no uninstall/freeze) and use different one instead, it won't improve on memory usage, will it?
It seems this phone, as much beast as it might be, uses over 60% of memory after factory reset, leaving only maybe 200mb for running additional software...I'd say Sense is to blame for most of it...

Obviously I have another launcher. I have always installed my launcher of choice and frozen the stock one on any Rom I've had. I don't see an entry called HTC sense, I'll keep looking.

I think it looks really cool and I'd love to try it out (but sadly I have no idea when it will be released) .
How did you try it? You a developer for SPB? This I'd just a SPB tease, quit posting this crap!

Doesn't work on my incredible.
really wanted to try it too

it's a nice app!=D
Tried it on my Captivate. It is super smooth and well done. There were some customization issues that I got used to with go launcher and launcher pro. But overall it's probably the most sophisticated and well build launcher for android.
You can find the beta version if you just google it

It's called Beta for a reason. Not everything is supposed to work.
Can't get this to run on a Desire. Anybody else been successful?
Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
It does not work on Droid X or Droid 1 or Nook Color. Is it possible to mod it so it does work?
i can't find it.. can someone give me a link.. ?
Didn't have any success with my Milestone XT720 (device not supported). I don't know if it was the link or my phone.
Lots of people are having trouble activating it, myself included.

No love on Heroc. Just FC or Wait, never anything else.
Pity. Can't wait for official version to be released.
someone share the link,PLEASE
The best launcher, but too messy tbh, iphone all over again. Wish it had option of organising apps alphabwtically.

Doesn't activate on Nexus one =/
Hopefully this device will be supported in the future, looks spiffy.

This launcher is pretty neat. But miui sgs made it obsolete on our phones. It looks fairly similar but performs pretty bad right now.

Link doesn't work. I had that SPB Home on my Tilt 2 and liked it. Very customizable, but it was a resource hog, so I stopped using it.
Yea, signed up for the beta testing a couple months ago and used it for awhile. Pretty stable and has good looks and no lag really.

If that's what you're running than that's a really old version. The version they sent allows you to set 4 shortcuts in the dock and 1 for the app drawer instead of the 2
It's a pretty neat and fast launcher except for a few things that may be just me:
-Look is a bit meh
-Can't place icons where you want them to (all gravitate from top to bottom, left to right)
-reeeeallly high memory usage compared to others (approx. 40-60mb, leaves some games running sluggish)
-Can't use live wallpapers (I would at least like the option to)
It's cool and different, but always find myself going back to even the stock launcher or ADW EX
I think I got the beta 5 back in December or January, but I haven't really used it since then. I just reinstalled it real quick so I could post some screens.

While I agree it runs a little slow the last time i used it. I dont know about MIUI making anything obsolete as it looks like a dated Iphone, but to each their own

[APP][LAUNCHER] Ice Cream Sandwich Launcher

It was released maybe a couple hours ago. I'm running it now and its pretty cool.

Great catch!
I like the Recent apps function, in the right corner of the dock, just like good ol' Honeycomb had. Still, I can't change the dock icons. I like the wallpapers too...
nice!
what are you talking about? this is 10 characters >_<
ho ho ho ho! now this is something!!!
i installed it and uninstalled it straight away, it's ugly, u can't change the apps down the bottom, the icons are mingin.
thanks for the share tho
i thought this was official. deleted.
I'll try it,but I doubt it'll replace Launcher Pro.
I shall stick with go launcher ex, thanks for posting though!

As far as I know Vipers ICS rom is the only one that allows you to change that. In a thread of messages, hit menu, and you should have an option for personalization. Its in the messaging setting somewhere. It lets you change the background image as well.
