But what??? :-( I never installed Gingerbread before. This is my first time. I followed pandaballs tutorials to install v21e through kdz method, and everything was as it shoul'd be. Coul'd it be because i selected another country and language when installing gb? My phone is from Slovenia i think. I live in Serbia, but when i installed gb,i selected Italy, and english language.

Shouldn't be the issue. Try wiping data through stock recovery.
I'll try but i clearly doubt it will solve the gc issue. When i installed v21e i did a factory reset, then i rooted the device. Is it possible that rooting screwes up something?
Sent from my LG-P920 using XDA Premium App
I live in Bulgaria, also i make root with Megatron root!
Steel don't have GC with V21E!
Also my battery works more better with that V21E.
Do wipe partiton and other option wich you can make before root.
I thing only factory reset is not enough.
When you flash phonewith 21E version, before turn on your phone do all wipe option.
this scares me a lot, but for now no ghost call, sorry for my question, but you are sure about the version? 19-apr-2012? You download the rom from official lg site?

Yes,im 100% sure. Pandaball gave me a link from which to download. Its not a custom rom. Its the stock v21e. This is what shows in "About phone"
Model number: LG-P920
Android version: 2.3.5
Baseband version: L6260_MODEM_SIC_01.1042.00
Kernel version: 2.6.35.7+

That's worrying. You are the first to report ghost calls with V21E. There were two more reports before yours but the first has flashed only the V21E baseband (not the complete rom) and the second was using a custom kernel instead of the stock 21E kernel.
However, I think that there is a possibility that the V21E was not installed correctly in your case because not only you have ghost calls but your battery drains very quickly. This could not have happened, especially when you came from Froyo as you said. All Gingerbread roms (even the ones that have the ghost calls problem) have much better battery life than any Froyo rom. And the V21E has even better battery life than the older Gingerbread roms.
Perhaps the .kdz file you downloaded got corrupted? Or you didn't wipe/ factory reset before and after upgrading to V21E? I suggest to download and install again the 21E following the procedure here.
That's very strange.
In my tests I've NOT been able to reproduce a single ghost call making something like 200 calls on 21E
I've only managed to preoduce some "ghost rings" : a single ring (just the first of the rings) wich hasn't been shown by the dialer app. (Not a big deal however)

This is a known issue.
Problem is with the baseband. It affects all known ROMs. If you want to make phone calls, you'll have to revert back to the older baseband, or go with stock 2.3.4 that was pushed.
nobody can fix that? may be just need cm or miui find out fix.

Try a factory reset from within cwm
i think you cant run prometheus, until you have gb on your o3d.First you need to flash it.Use kdz method or wathever you like to do this.
Sent from my LG-P920 using xda app-developers app
I'm pretty sure the fact that you're running froyo is the reason why flashing the rom.did not work. Promethius operates on gingerbread basebands so you need to be updated for the rom to work properly. It would also help if you asked this in the promethius thread lol

Sent from my LG-P925 using xda premium
hello
Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable
Run Lg Suite
remove the batteries and then insert
you hold the power On end volume up (+)
keep it pressed until lg suite says that the phone is connected
Or you will see the option to upgrade - If yes, update your phone to the basic version
And if it does not display upgrade options
Go to the Emergency Recovery system end typing the IMEI and install - end update your phone to the basic version.

And what exactly did you develop in this thread?
Please avoid creating threads like this in Android Developers section.
Apart from that all necessary information to fix your phone is here
[GUIDES/TOOLS]Making Developing/Flashing/Returning to Stock Easier (Multi-page thread 1 2 3 ... Last Page)
or you can ask for help from Promethius ROM users in that thread.
I think this thread should be moved to general section
Not to be rude or anything but please don't start a new thread every time a single problem occurs. Also, do some searching and reading in the threads that are already there. There's at least 4 guides to do a kdz flash. We shouldn't have to hold your hand every time something happens.
But really, update to gingerbread and that'll clear up 90% of your problems

Friend says he tried to root his g2x, now it's running 2.2.2 (which is a verison of andriod i'm not familiar with) and he has no signal and is unable to connect to any wireless network.
Also, when i search for networks, it pops up with both tmobile and att, but, as far as i know, the phone is not network unlocked.
Any ideas or suggestions?
Is he running a p990 rom on a p999 or vise versa? That would cause some issues...

He just has to make sure he's running the from for the right phone. If he's running a 2x rom on a g2x that can cause problems. Also might be a baseband issue? Not sure on that one as I never even bothered with 2.2.2 or don't know if they have 2.2.2 roms lol

Incorrect.
If you are on the March 2012 baseband, BT CALL AUDIO does NOT work. Media audio does. This applies to ANY ROM that's not stock LG 2.3.4. There is the option to run a "modded" stock ROM such as BuRom & kewes (sp?) rooted, modded stock 2.3.4. Pair up with faux's GB specfic kernel and it's not terribly bad
You can also attempt to downgrade to an older baseband via kdz method.
As for G2Xer's question, I have not used it, I'll take a look at it, but I think it's more of a driver issue or something like that causing the problem.

I don't think it will get fixed though.
The story I've always been told is LG needed to release something, maybe code, and it's something they didn't have to under open source.
Something like that.

lol i have been following googles code site pertaining to this problem and it seems like even the CM team has ignored it since cm7 came out right after the v21y baseband release by LG that "fixed gps signal"....well it also broke radio usage until owain92 fixed it. but still nobody has solved the cell over bluetooth issue. media plays just fine, just not phone calls. im hoping that by mazout360 and king-nai compiling themselves and incorporating hard fixes into their rom, that they will not overlook the bluetooth issue. i have a feeling that their rom wil be phenomonal when its finished.

I flashed hellfire sandwich rom to my g2x Now my issues are
picture messaging dont work-I can send regular texts but not with pics nor can I receive them
I get process at android ,com has stopped and I click ok bit it keeps coming back until I reboot
the second one is my battery bar indicates a full charge but its been on for about 6 hours now-I did install battery recalibrate but it still does it
third is that my phone number says unknown and my voicemail number is also not known I have a feeling this is related to my mms erros too.
Thats about all please help.I did have cyanogenmod 7.1 installed before and was having the messaging issue then too.I did switch to another version of hellfire after that and everything was working great except my battery indicator had ? mark in it and the phone shut down and had a hard time rebooting.I used g2x scrubber before I installed the hellsandwich rom and followed directions to the t so I dunno whats wrong

I honestly have no idea. I'm currently running an ICS rom (eaglesblood) and have none of those issues. However my voice mail had the same "no voice mail number" error. I'm assuming you're on t-mobile...if so, just put this number in for your voice mail and it will work properly:
+18056377243 This will definitely fix your voice mail...as for your SMS messages...hopefully justjackyl comes in here and can give you some better information
I think you should try reflashing your rom. Or try a different one. You have a lot of weird issues. When you go from gb to ics or vice versa are you wiping /system?
Good call twitch. Make sure you wipe /system under mounts and storage in CWM!

under baseband in getril it say recommended march baseband. Any suggestions?
Whats the model number on the label?
We are not quite sure how you have a may baseband, the P999 basebands carry June and March months. I believe June 15 2011 and the last was March 11 2012.
I keep wondering if your not using the Wind G2x model which is an O2x P990 branded as G2x or even using a P990 in general, which this than would be incorrect ROM and could definitely cause all these issues.
In you screenshot it will say P999 because the ROM build states that, not the phone.
Check your model number sticker please.
