Hi guys,
I am looking for an editor that remove the backgroung behind such as a circle or square with 4 curves on each corner so there is no black or white background to an image as I am currently creating a theme for Inomail apps.
I manage to create most icons and images without any problem with no background but there a a few I am having difficulties.
So I need an editor so what editor do you developers used to created or edit images and icons please for your apps?
There's a neat bit of freeware, ZPaint

Which can be used to create buttons etc. as bitmaps with the corners rounded off, and the background set to a transparent colour. Once you have created it with this, use another graphics editor to change it.
The free cross platform (windows and linux) editing software called the gimp is great for most editing needs.

Here is a very simple media player skin which I have just put together for me. Thanks to Rhapsody for helping with the screenshot.

It's inspired partly on the Zune interface but I just wanted a very simple black skin which didn't have any buttons (I always use the d-pad) and which maximized the album art.
To use it, create a folder in the Windows Media Player folder of Program Files on the device and expand the attached zip contents (just 3 files) into it. Then select the ZPhone skin in Media Player options.
Let me know what you think - I love it.

Thanks for that - I've now uploaded a screenshot!
Looks pretty good!
i think this would look cooler if the progress bar was thin glowy white and the seek bar was a glowy white circle
This is GREAT! I've been through a dozen skins over the past 2 years or so and this one is perfect! Thanks!
Is it possible in WM 6.1 to change the taskbar and bottombar colors to a gradient one? Because I want to make a taskbar for the GTX theme from [ElCondor]. Here is a screenshot to give you guys the idea what I mean.

I mean the the bars at the top and at the bottom.
unless you change the shell to something like WisBar Advance Desktop
then all you got is what tsk themes for wm6.1 can give you http://www.ppc-theme.com/
Damn, I guess it is over then. I think I will look onto WM 6.5 then.
ThemeGenCE can be used for making editing .tsk's "can't mem if allows different colour top bottom"
But 6.5 would be a better choice as just image files

upload a bigger pic, and I think I should be able to help. and at least use paint or something and circle what you want changed !
want the text from black to white........normally on these windows the background is white and text black of course........
Please Help!
I have the same question.
What I have to change XML. To display the font in white.
I'm interested too........
Guys, if you change the default font color to white, the text in the input areas will be white too and thus unreadable.
You need to assign a new color in styles.xml probably, making a new parent style under Widget.PopupWindow.
Yeah but that sub category already exist..... tried to change it last night with no results...... gonna try back this week-end......unless someone got more skillz/luck than me ;-) lol

Hello guys just thought I'd share some icons for Desktop Image Visualizer (DVR) it's basically app that allows you to set pictures as widgets and link them to apps it's really cool so what I have here are some images you can use in conjunction with DVR to customize your homescreens I've got them grouped in the following categories:
Angry Birds
Final Fantasy
Bleach
Naruto
Miscellaneous
Using this app you can do things like
{

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Those are some screenshots of my homescreens

Here's some images of icons in the pack

Hello everyone.
I am currently working on a new home screen for my SGNote. My intention was to make a custom wallpaper from scratch, using the icons, fonts and images I desire and then adding hotspots for shortcuts using blank png images.
I ran into a little problem though, let me explain. I know that you can create "placeholder" images using blank.png image files, but as far as I know these files and hotspots can only conform to the different grid sizes, what I mean is that they can only scale horizontally or vertically within the aspect ratio of the grid. I hope I make myself clear, as it is kind of hard to explain through written word.
In any case, what I need to be able to do is create hotspots that vary in size, whether they be round or diagonal, or maybe even rectangles that do not conform to the grid.
I will try to exemplify through an image I've found.

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Now, lets say that I need to create rectangular hotspots for the panels under "STATIONS CONTACTS FOR:" or a rectangular one for "PRIMARY SYSTEMS TEMP". How would I go about doing that?
Anyway, I hope I made myself clear.
I thank you for your time and look forward to reading your answers.
