I dunno abt that...
But u can use power amp music player pro..
In that u can use the equalizer to eke out more sound...

Whats the need for such complicated things. We have dsp manager, basssoundfx mod. Use that. And the developer has also said-"Yes, it's possible to make the sound even louder, but it will result in a VERY distorted sound"

Use power amp pro...
Go to equalizer n use a preset called "phone speaker (loud)"...
It vl give out loud sound enough in the safe limit...
Else u can use custom...
And set all the values in equalizer to maximum...
It vl give u the highest possible sound which s Lil bit shrilled...

Idea for a Music App.

My idea was if there is a way to get a music app to change its music by using the volume buttons. I dont really use the volumne buttons. Dont really care to use them. Plus I think that would be alot easier to use WHILST driving. Any ideas?
If you are driving you should not have headphones on so you can hear traffic
Yeah... changing music while driving is quite difficult :-(

The beats thing is such a sham
all it does it boost the bass and the treble.
no fancy stuff just a loudness button more or less.
Power amp does this and a lot more
I'm notnsure if it's just a placebo ear effect, but I think i notice a difference
Checking on several different headphones and the S4i's are sounding better
there is a difference, i used my friends GS2 to compare and the not only is the bass and trebble better balanced, but i can push my car's sound system to a 20% higher volume before i start to hear distortion. This is not placebo, or its not a sham, its does what it says and work very well
How does this compare to the Beats setting in Volume+?
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...51bGwsMSwyLDEsImNvbS5URVNULmFuZHJvaWQubHZoIl0.
not sure and i wont pay 2$ to find out, im happy with the beats patch

[Q] Bluetooth Audio a bit low?

Hey guys,
Recently switched from wired headphones to wireless Bluetooth ones and am noticing that the volume is significantly lower via Bluetooth audio. I am using the Google play music app. The music is a bit louder when streaming etc but its about 75% of what i would want the max to be when using google music. Anyways to adjust this setting? Maybe something in the mixerpaths.xml for Bluetooth audio?
Thanks!

Have a look at divine beats thread or any other sound mod thread,if it says that it works with Android O then okay but if it doesn't then you'll have to live with it until the developers release sound mods for Android O.

Yes,fix somewhere lies in that file itself and I guess with a little google search you'll be able to find the solution which includes modifying that file.

Tried Google and XDA extensively. No dice.
Edit: they have a bunch of stuff but only to fix speaker and wired headphones volume. Not for Bluetooth.

[Q] speaker "explode" noise

when on max volume, the speaker will make a loud horrible crackling noise( like its exploding ) this will only happen in certain songs.
pretty sure my speaker is broken, or maybe its software?
what should i do?
Try to do the same thing on another OnePlus One. If its happening there too, maybe try another rom. If its still happening, it is the song.

Which ROM are you on? I'm guessing you're on CM12 (or some lollipop based ROM) I notice that same crackling noise on max volume (speaker) when I play Clash of Clans. Just reduce it one volume step down and the noise disappears (only solution till it's fixed). Otherwise wait for stable CM12S. If you're on CM11S/CM11 then that's not good

Yes I can hear it on Zeta ringtone. As I mentioned earlier its a lollipop issue (its still in beta), only solution is to be patient until CM fix it or reduce one step below max or go back to CM11s/CM11 (because that's stable).

Dont think so but we'll see
I just got this phone last night and spent the morning rooting it to install viper4android and Im pretty disappointed at how low the volume is with this phone even with everything maxed. My $40 budget Samsung blew this thing out of the water volume wise.
Is there no way to mod any of the sound files to get more volume from the DAC? I notice there is no default_gain.conf like Samung phones and Mixer_paths.xml is blank. This is a great phone but the sound is an absolute bummer.

Pair V4A with Dolby Atmos. This is what I did and volume drastically increased.
Thanks for the heads up I'll check that out.

He already did.
After adding Atmos to the v4a I was able to get a small increase by turning on virtualizer and volume leveler. It's still not too my liking but it definitely is better which I am grateful for.
There is nothing you can edit manually as far as gain or headphone volume in any config/XML files on this thing? These audio apps are able to make a difference but it's nowhere near enough. On my phone the 2/3 volume to full volume really doesn't change at all only the slider changes position.
some dev could pls try to port stereo speakers mod which is available for mi 3 which makes earpiece has speaker
