Overclock? - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Hello everyone!
I'm curious as to whether or not anyone is overclocking this phone just yet? if so, what speeds are you finding stable?
I jumped from the original EVO on sprint, to this phone on AT&T and I couldn't be happier, but I'm also a tinkerer. Ill be experimenting myself but wanted to know if anyone else is as I haven't found much info on this cpu and it's OC capabilities as pertains to this phone.

No custom kernels yet. Waiting for a proper CWM to flash roms/kernels.

Devs need unlocked bootloader and kernel source before any of that will be possible.

[Q] Garminfone OC Kernel

Just a question I have my Garminfone I bought through T-Mobile Unlocked and really I could handle not having a custom rom although wish there would be one but could deal with it if it would be possible to get an OC Kernel for it. Anyway thanks.

Roms for Samsung Conquer (SPH-D600)

I am just wondering if anyone knows anyone who may be working on a custom rooted rom for the Conquer. I have already seen and used the Stock FC17 rom and root for this device, but i eventually abandoned root and went back to stock so i could update to FE16 and get the modem update. (in hopes that sprint will release 4g in my area soon because i think that they are supposed to.) I have also seen someon trying to port cyanogenmod to the conquer, but no progress has been made. Does anyone know of any other roms or development for this phone. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Where can I find just Kernels

Well, I just spent 6 hours trying to root my .629 droid global 2, I did it. I was wondering where can I get a list of kernels I can use with stock 2.3.4? OR can I even do this? Sorry I spent hours looking online for kernels and I couldn't find anything. I did own a optimus 1 and have some experience with this stuff but is it much different than going into recovery and flashing the kernel?
In fact if someone would be nice enough to convince me to get a rom, this would be much easier. but after looking into it, it seems ridiculously hard to put a rom on these things unless someone can tell me different? I'm looking for something like CM 7 because that was what I was used to on my LG O1. Unless the stock rom on this right now would get me better battery than the CM 7? Thank you in advance.
Nowhere.
There are no custom kernels.
The bootloader is locked and encrypted.
You cannot install a custom kernel.
There are custom ROMs though and they don't really need a lot of work to install.

isnt the bootloader bypassed by boostrapper/rom manager?
I was just about to install CM7 after reading your post and another member was saying it won't work because I'm on GSM and I need to flash to froyo and then to cm7?
if you need to band unlock http://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...d and Band unlock Droid 2 Global with 629 ROM
if you just need a rom that works well, with gsm
I'll add link http://rootzwiki.com/topic/8951-gsm-data-status-for-various-roms/

[Q] Cricket Samsung Galaxy S4, SCH-R970C Overclock

I am a noob to the XDA forums so please forgive my ignorance. I am familiar with rooting android devices and have done so to my galaxy tab 2, my Huawai ascend 2, and now my cricket galaxy s4 SCH-R970c. however I have never successfully overclocked any android device. Thru research I have learned that in order to overclock an android device you must have a kernel that supports overclocking. I believe some custom ROM's come with there own custom kernel but I am not sure really. I I do know that after flashing several roms with clockwork mod and using various CPU control apps that I have never been able to set my maximum frequency higher than the stock speed. Again I am kind of a noob as far as all the real technical stuff goes but I am resourceful and can usually figure most things out, so my question is, is there a kernel or rom for my cricket s4 that supports overclocking? if so where can I find it? I have searched high and low for any info about overclocking my device to no avail. I am currently running Omni Nightly rom version 4.4.4-20150128-jflte-nightly, kernel version 3.4.0-omni-g27dc422, baseband version R970cvvufnc6, build number omni_jflte-userdebug 4.4.4 ktu84p 480 test-keys, android version 4.4.4. on Cricket Samsung GalaxySCH-R970c,. Will the overclockable kernels from any other carriers s4 models work in my phone or does one need to be specifically created with the SCH-R970c in mind? Pleas do not ask me "why overclock your phone anyway it will only do this or that", or "it wont do this or that", or "whats the point" or whatever else any one wants to say that wouldn't actually be an answer to any of my specific questions. I appreciate any help in these matters and I thank anyone who replies with helpful info.

What's the difference besides processor?

I have a J700P. I want to install a Rom, butt not a stock debloat deodex....I can do that myself, but that's all I'm seeing for this variant. I've been out of the Sammy loop for a minute and just acquired this j7 that was FRP (like.. Good too) and ready jump in on an unlocked bootloader.
It's looking like I'll need to learn to cook a Custom Rom myself huh.... And yes I plan on trying the Lineage build for P variant. Basically just wanna know if anyone had tried any of the kernels or Roms posted F/M/H on the P or if that's feasible. Thanks guys.
