You probably didn't wipe the phone before the ota. So the update is kinda messed up. Just flash the stock again

I have the nightly on my Nexus S and going to be selling my good old Nexus S, because I picked up the SGII. I tried to to do the wipe resotre, but doesn't work just gets stuck. I powered off again and restored to the first back up I had before applying the Nightly ROM, but don't want to run the Factory Data Restore unless I know this won't mess anything else.
I am leaving the phone rooted so not worry about removing this.

Fastboot will allow you to easily erase data and userdata.

Restore to a factory nandroid and wipe after that relock / unlock bootloader

OK thanks for the info will give that a shot.

Does anyone get applications that they used to use on their G2x before that get the "your device is not compatible" error in the market? I get it for the XDA premium app and I always ran it on CM7 now I cannot any ideas what to do?

Me too weird.

Try to clean the cache
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda premium
Yeah, I started getting it on a game called Sprinkle.. if I flash back to stock it works fine but it doesn't on the new version of CM7 (2.3.7). If I flash an older version, it still works.
Maybe the developers don't have the newest version flagged since the only phone that "should" have it is the Nexus S 4G.
In most cases cleaning cache solves the problem. If u played with ur screen resolution just back to 240

Had the same issue and cleaning the cache solved it. Ideally if you have CWM installed 'wipe the /cache partition"

I upgraded to the new att gingerbread update and I keep getting a Google Talk authentication failed notice and an error -101 in the market, help?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using xda premium
I think this problem happens when you don't clear the user data in CWM. I had this problem after unbricking my phone. Of course, that's a rom, if you used the factory update maybe a factory reset would do the same thing.
Do I have to factory reset through CWM then? Or just through the phones settings?

Either. If you're on stock settings. You can also boot into a CWM like Sammy mode and do it from there. They should both work.
If you're on a rom, you should do that anyway when you flash a new one.
I'm wondering if I did something wrong. I tried to Odin back to stock to fix an issue with the phone. After I Odin it said passed but when I looked at my phone it had all my apps setting and what not including wallpaper, but my radio was back to stock so was my recovery.
Did I do something wrong or is this normal

Just go into stock recovery and wipe the data
Sent from my SPH-D710 using xda app-developers app
Will it hurt anything if I don't? I'm not sending it out
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
No it won't hurt. It just doesn't wipe data that's all. Your baseband and firmware versions should be changed as well as the stock recovery should be there as well.

Awesome news. Thanks. One more thing some one mentioned about a flash count what is that?
Sent from my SCH-I535 using xda app-developers app
If you do a factory reset, it will erase everything from the internal sd storage.

Flash count keeps track of how many times custom firmware is flashed to the phone using odin. Basicalky flashing a custom recovery or kernel in odin. You can check your counter in download mode. You can reset the counter using an app called triangle away in the market.

Anyone having trouble copying text to clipboard. If I try to copying something the app crashes on me. Even on stock apps like memo. Is there a fix for this?

Did you flash back to stock or have you always been stock unrooted? Try the basic stuff and clear caches, then try power off and remove battery...very unusual problem.

This is a new blaze. I broke the other one so I bought a new one. Is it because I'm using a different keyboard I got from Google play?

Did a little research and seems this is a bug on various Samsung products look at this and see if it helps http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=35732 . One common fix people applied was to root the phone and than deleting all contents under/data/clipboard/*and then restart phone, copy/paste works. Another temporary fix reported was a factory reset.
