Backspace button not responsive when pressed near edge of screen.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Try pressing backspace on the right hand edge of the screen?

Not an issue for me, what keyboard are you using? Cos one of the first things I did was switch to swiftkey x. Best keyboard out there in my opinion. For t9 input I also recommend smart keyboard pro.

its the same with every keyboard ive tried, i have to press it on the far left side of the backspace key to get it to register. only noticed it in the last week or so. its the same on all roms. but when ive tried the touch test app from the market my screen is responding to touch equally on both sides of the screen...
That's beyond my knowledge then dude. What a weird bug/whatever it is.

I just got my One X and everything seems fine so far, though I'll need to go to AT&T tomorrow to setup a new sim, because as far as I know, My old SIM won't work with the LTE right? I have the one from my old captivate that I cut into a micro sim for an iPhone 4 and I put that in the One X and the APN settings are wrong because they're the settings from the iPhone 4 I'm assuming. If anyone can help me out with the APN that would be great.
Another question I have is regarding the capacitive buttons. Do they only come on in the dark or all the time? I noticed that they weren't on but I turned off my lights and they came on.
Thanks in advance
My button lights are on all the time.

Mine seem to react automatically also. My home button also doesn't light up while the other two button do light up, so Ithink I have a faulty unit.

I would exchange it because of your home button issue. But nice to know that yours are light sensitive

Mine respond to light as well.

If you put your finger over the light sensor (like a quater inch to the left of the AT&T logo) you can see that the capacitive buttons come on. Though I'm looking at mine right now and it seems like they don't go off automatically once I take my finger away.

Anyone's vibrate feedback almost unnoticeable? Swapped my device because of connection issues (and update to 1.85 OOPS) and the vibrate feedback on this new one sucks. Pressing the home/back/multi task keys disappoints me every time. I know it's early in the dev phase but does anyone know a mod that can fix this? (Longer vibrate for feedback)
Sent from my HTC One X using XDA
No mods yet as far as I know. I know go sms let's you change the vibrate frequency, length and pattern. Other then that, might be SOL. I never thought mine was very strong to begin with. I have since turned it off to save battery. It takes a bit to get used to, but it's worth it. I think lol.

Go to sound settings and uncheck haptic feedback for UI interactions.

So I recently learned that by sliding 3 fingers up the screen it launches the Media Link HD setup/app. I think it would be cool to be able to remap that gesture to something else, say Google Now. I figure this is stuffed deep inside one of the framework apk, so is this even possible?
Bump

There are launchers that enable that.

Quite right. But this is for us sick people that actually like sense.
I'd love to see this remapped to flashlight! Even when the phone is in sleep three finger flashlight would rock!

Have fun with that, you'd be keeping a constant partial wakelock to have it working while the phone is asleep.
You'd probably lose 60 percent or more of your battery in 8 hours even with the screen off.
I recently noticed the arrow keys reappearing on the portrait keyboard even though I have them turned off in options (settings>language&keyboard>htc sense input>arrow keys "OFF"). I have cleared htc sense input data and this takes care of the resetting issue until I play any kind of full screen video. This included youtube in full screen, angry birds, vevo, etc. I thought that it might be an app so I put my phone into safe mode...but the same issue occurs. I even went as far as doing a full reset, but still the issue continues. I really could care less about the arrow keys, I just want to make sure at this point that it is just some kind of software issue that may be resolved with a future update, and not a hardware issue with my phone in particular. My phone is completely stock and fully updated. HTC hasn't emailed back yet, so I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this issue? btw, this may be a well know issue, but I have only had the phone for a couple of weeks so any help would be much appreciated.

i have this same issue. they come back even when i turn them off. the only way to get rid of them again is to make sure the keyboard shows up then turn the phone into landscape mode then back to portrait mode, then the arrows are gone. its a glitch in the software or something.
Is there a way you can disable the arrow keys on stock rom and unrooted? I'm on android 4.0.4 and sense 4.1, but i can't see the option in HTC sense input in where you can turn off the arrow keys..

Just install Swype Beta and no more arrow keys

It's under HTC Sense Input, make sure to look under all of the "advanced settings" , dive into the sub-menus.

When i go to advanced settings, there are no sub-menus.. is it just me? i really don't want any 3rd party keyboard because the stock keyboard is just great, it's just i can't find any option that can disable the arrow in the keyboard. Even in the advance settings, there is none..

I know this doesn't help you at all but I can't find that option in sense input either on 4.0.4 and sense 4.1. Personally I use SwiftKey but maybe turning the arrows off is a feature HTC dropped?

Why in the world that i don't have that option when i click on HTC Sense Input.. my One S is the international version (black with MAO), would that be the case? I wish i could have that option.. the arrow keys really took a bunch of space..

I also have the international version, black MAO. However I am branded on T-Mobile. I doubt it is the reason, though. Not sure why.

Don't worry, i haven't got that option either. I live in estonia, but have S4 imported from France.
