When i get home i will upload it for you but heres a tip all you have to do is extract the roms folder that had the photos and videos apk and search in the system/app folder and find the apk there

Another question man how do I extract the apk from system? Do I have to have it installed on my phone or I can explore it from my pc?

Hello,
I cant find anyting in the x10 forum about this,
Where can i find the wallapers that come with the cyanogenmod 6.1.3.
I have wolfs and rendiros roms but cant find them in the rom.
For some reason they do not come up as an option when i apply the wallpaper and i cant find them in the rom...any help in pointing me to the files in the rom would appreciated

I can't install the apk =(
all I can do is to rename the package into .zip and extract the wallpapers in it.
That's weird, it should just install onto your phone. It works for me.

It might not work cos its from a gingerbread rom, nit sure though. I'm sure if you googled you'd find one that works or check the cm site perhaps.

hey guys i googled/downloaded this today the new market with movies, Books, and TV plus it kinda themed like WP7
to install:
use root explorer
delete com.android.vending-1.apk in /data/app folder
copy this com.android.vending-1.apk to /data/app with permissions rw-r--r--
click on it and it will install

You don't need to uninstall the orginal Market, just run the apk and it will apply updates

YOu tried copying the com.android.vending-1.apk on the phone then open it from the phone using an explorer?
I used ASTRO and I clicked the apk ,Open App Manager ,Upgrade then I replaced my Market...
I have R800i 2.3.3 not rooted

Rename it to Vending.apk, and use adb to push it to /system/app/

Dude use QuickPic its fast and better than stock gallery

Or if u still need the gallery app, here it is.
Move to system/app using root explorer and set the corresponding permissions.
I've been using quickpic since it first came out. Never once looked back or at anything else. Its miles ahead of anything.
Can someone point me to the location where wallpapers are located, got a folder full of wallpapers but not sure where to paste them

Just leave them on your sd card. There is no system folder for them. The one's that come with ROM's are in apk's.

What do you want? PM me the custom image to use if you have one.
make a folder called "wallpapers" inside your DCIM folder. That's typically the first place the phone looks for images.
Use QuickPic. Great app.

Try push it as system app - rename your original play store in /system/app as *.bak like "phonesky.apk.bak" or "vending.apk.bak" and then copy the play store you downloaded into system app folder then reboot.
And, on a side note; Google the God smiled upon me and pushed new Play Store via Internet onto my phone. Its skin seem to reflect Key Lime Pie's new UI.

No need for rename , mount the system as rw in your root browser , I used es file explorer , then copy phonesky.apk to your system/app .
You can run it without reboot but it doesn't search without it.
